The staff were delightful and the food was really good. The front of house staff were particularly friendly and charming. We also loved the atmosphere and energy of the place. If I could change one thing, it would be a slightly expanded menu with a few more offerings. A great night close to home.

We rated a three because we had high hopes coming into it. I have been wanting to try the place out for a while and was left with dissatisfaction and disappointment mostly with the food. Although it didn't quite hit the spot for us I believe it is a great place to grab a drink.

Tim and the crew do an amazing job. Went to Wine Library on a Tuesday night and the joint was rocking. Wines and food paired with impeccable service what more could you ask for. The icing on the cake....... Tim's gorgeous wife Paola sang 4 Arias at the back of the restaurant, it left us speechless and in tears. Wow thanks.

A wonderfully welcoming Bar! Recently, I enjoyed an evening out with my girlfriends at The Wine Library. The space is chic, the staff are so kind, and they're incredibly knowledgeable with their wine, offering a really interesting selection of Australian and International wines. The food menu is delicious, and we especially enjoyed the Pasta made fresh on site. The Wine Library has a wonderfully warm welcoming atmosphere, a great spot to enjoy an evening out.

Had a lovely dinner here at the bar. The staff were friendly, unpretentious and knowledgeable and very happy to advise on the different wines. We had zucchini flowers, buffalo mozzarella, cos salad, olives and gruyere croquettes. Food was lovely, fresh and satisfying and very reasonably priced. They have a big range of charcuterie for meat eaters. Will definitely go back

Can’t speak highly enough of the service; which started when the owner of the established gave me a call to reconfirm the booking a few hours prior to our seating. An exceptional wine selection, great food, knowledgeable staff who made flawless recommendations and impeccable customer service - would definitely recommend.

Wine library is a unique meeting place - summarised by its world class customer service, array of a well constructed, considered and constantly changing menu, that remains relevant and full of gleeful surprises! Goes without saying the wine/drinks are the centre piece of your experience, where Tim and the team will pre-empt your senses and provide educated guidance in connecting you with an array of local and international choices to suit your needs. If you can’t decide on the drink/s - you can take them with you for later, or share what you have experienced with friends/family. Our household loves this bar, and will find any excuse to come back.

The Wine Library is a fantastic, welcoming and atmospheric bar. Its extensive wine list - both by the glass and bottle - gives meaning to the bar's name. The wine list (and an excellent selection of gins as well) is well supported by a delicious and imaginative selection of light meals. Best of all is the warm and genuine service by Tim and the team. A real winner!

Recently been back after the reboot. Great for a grazing style meal + excellent wine. Great selection of options by the glass. Plenty of cray varieties to keep you interested. Service game has stepped up a notch, and food is more interesting now, although I missed the truffle quesadillas. Don't know why they closed the court yard though.

This restaurant is an old favorite! We love the meat plate with cheese and tomato bread. The wife enjoys the various salads and I love the Mac and cheese. Yum! Johnny knows our taste in wines and always picks a winner. We always find a seat here. The Wine Library provides a wonderful and varied selection of wines as well as tapas that make a delicious meal. Try it, you'll find lots of reasons to come back.

We came to the Wine Library on Saturday afternoon. We were looking for a quick wine as we passed by and dropped in. My wife looked at the sparkling menu and the only thing that was really available by the glass was a prosecco. We were wondering why there was not an Australian sparkling on this list, like a Freycinet, or even a Bimbadgen. The prosecco was remarkably flat - in fact we left it. So while we like the Wine Library, the afternoon drop in left us like the prosecco - a bit flat.

Wonderful place with a great choice of wine (you won't be surprised with the name) but more surprising the food was delicious (French cheese, charcuterie and original dishes) as well as the cocktails. Very nice staff. We will go there again and again!

Cosy, stylish interior, amazing selection of wines and gorgeously tasty food - the Mac cheese was particularly good, paired with a pea salad! The staff were good humoured and attentive even on a busy Saturday night. Get there early (before 7pm) to get a good spot.

This is the place where middle-aged eastern suburbs types go on first dates. It's classy enough so your date won't think you don't have any and you can't go wrong ordering any of the wines because they're all good so you don't look stupid. I like it but it lacks spontaneity and is a bit obvious.

Good wine bar, really like the ambiance, service is friendly. Extensive wine list by the bottle unfortunately quite short by the glass for a place call the wine library, I know that can be hard to move wines with a big list, perhaps a coravin wine system will be a good idea. Food was good.

After spending 20 minutes here, browsing the menu, ordered some starter wine and charcuterie I started to get frustrated thinking: "for f sake, I could eat just as good food in my native France for half the price", but to be honest this is nothing but the best compliment one can give to a wine restaurant. The wine selection is excellent (I cannot stress this enough), the food divine, the service just as good. While it might overall be pricey you do get what you pay for. Will definitely come back. Edit: If I would have one complain, it would be that there is too few wines that can be ordered by the glass

Slightly misleading name - the wine list is actually much shorter than you would expect and not as high quality as I would like. It's a cool ambiance and their finger food is good. You're however definitely paying the "trendy" premium for what you are getting.

Anyone thats given this place a poor review (anything below 5!) wouldnt be happy anywhere! They are better off not going out. This place is simply great whatever your occasion. Service and staff are warm and engaging with all... the drinks are great (try the Poli!)... and even for me as a vegetarian the food options (whilst not extensive) hit the spot (cauliflower salad and halloumi is an amazing combo, as is the quesadilla and mac n cheese!). Get here !!

Cosy restaurant. The cauliflower was great and they had good wines as expected. Staff were friendly. Main reasons they lose a star are: 1. we ordered a side of sourdough and the parfait - which came with sourdough anyway.. waiter didn’t point this out. So paid for sourdough twice. 2. I observed two bar staff testing ingredients on their hands by licking them as they occasionally do. Difference being these guys didn’t wash their hands after and proceeded to prepare food / crush mint etc where they had licked. Not ideal from public health POV.

This was a first for us, we never ventured out to this area previously let alone attempt to catch the bus in the city during peak hour... so it was definitely an experience. You will definitely not miss this place, their shopfront is completely glass and the luminous red lights from the bar shine straight through to the street. You might think (as we did) "It's so dark and red!".. admittedly we were more worried about how to capture pictures but luckily there is a a very romantic and intimate dining area at the back, perfect for first dates. The winner by unanimous decision for best dish of the evening was the braised lamb shoulder. All the elements of this dish truly made for a memorable dish as they seem to each work so well in unity. When you ask for braised lamb, you expect something like this to be presented in front of you. Meat that literally falls apart, and yet is boasting with the flavours of the sauce that it has just been slowly cooking in for the preceding hours.

We went for a very late lunch & had a personable service from one of the chefs. Sitting at the bar, we chatted and watched our tapas take shape. Had a great experience, although the bill was a bit higher than expected.

First time visit and I can not wait to come back. Amazing, efficient and friendly service. Food is done tapas-style and everything we ordered was perfectly balanced and full of flavour. Pork empanadas, haloumi, beef cheeks, and divine pork meatballs. Then to end a perfect dinner, a dessert to die for: lemon treacle cheesecake on a bed of mascarpone. I can't believe we took so long before trying this place.

The Wine Library is renowned for it's ever changing, extensive wine list featuring a large number of Australian, Italian and French wines. There is also a focus on wines with minimal interference during the production process, so try a wine from the 'Orange' list if you're feeling adventurous. The food here is also great. Try the strachino and black truffle quesadilla. It is to die for!
