Called by Vasco to try their famous gnocchi but the chef was in iso. Settled for their delicious Antipasti plate and a couple of excellent cocktails. Great service and a long chat about the possibilities for the world with Nicholas the bar manager, rounded out an excellent evening. Definitely gonna head back for the gnocchi sometime Recommended

Definitely some of the best gnocchi in town. Drinks are as good if not even better then in usual 5star hotel. Chef checked on us in person and is very friendly. Atmosphere is great. I will be back.

Awesome little rock n’ roll bar with amazing cocktails and food! My partner and I tried almost every cocktail on the menu and they were all absolutely incredible... it was honestly hard to pick a favourite one because we both enjoyed them all so much! The two guys working were both really friendly and looked after us well, if I could rate higher than 5 stars for this place I would! Cheers Vasco, will definitely be back ☺️🤘

5-7 happy hour with $12 cocktails is a must! Great Italian food as well, perfect for a cheeky snack after a day at work. Staff is also super friendly, 10/10 would come again =)

I like the classic rock music here. The service is friendly and they make a good Old Fashioned. Seating is limited, don't come for dinner with a group bigger than 4. Loved the Whiskey gnocchi. The Pesto gnocchi was too bland for me, but I like my pesto strong. Serving sizes aren't huge, so you'll want a starter.

Only place (other than goros) in surry hills that isn't another generic pub, atmosphere is great, love the Rock, but the gnocchis could easily be 10-20% cheaper/bigger portions even if a drink is included for happy hour.

Cool little bar if you like rock and themed cocktails. They have a great selection of cocktails, the staff are friendly and sometimes when it's busy they also like to play along to the music but tapping, drumming and having lots of fun. Food is Italian, space is eclectic 👍🏻

I love Vasco! We all have a fabulous time whenever we come here. It's not your typical bar but it's perfect for us. One highlight is the percussion behind the bar. The guys behind the bar get quite carried away when the right song is on.

This is a cool little alternative bar. There is so much going on inside in terms of rock memorabilia, posters, scull heads and other nick nacks around that my girlfriend and I were just looking around and taking everything in for 20min before we engaged in conversation. Best neighborhood bar HANDS DOWN- who doesn't love Rock n Roll + Gnocchi?? I am lucky to live around the corner from this hidden gem. I always feel at home when I stop in, everyone is always so welcoming and friendly! The cocktail list is fantastic, however I would definitely keep and eye on their specials! Don't get me started on the Gnocci- where else can you get 12(?) different kinds of DELICIOUS gnocci that melts in your mouth with every bite? Whether its the start of the night , or the main event I always have the best night at VASCO! BONUS POINTS for spontaneous entire bar sing-a-longs and drum playing!!

Cool small rock n roll place. Vibe is great although sometimes when it gets crowded the banging of a drum kit? For some reason is annoying as you cannot enjoy the music. I reckon the stuff are having a blast but as a rocker I want to listen to the music and enjoy my beer. Also sometimes stuff members go from uber polite to super gtfo phase. But hey the place is almost a shrine to Freddie and Jimmy so extra points on that.
