The course golf shop staff welcomed us even though we hadn't booked. My kids and I played the front 9 holes, being a 38° day it was too tough to push on for the whole 18. The greens were well-maintained and the course was easily navigated. We stopped at the bubbler after hole 3 which was a welcome reprieve from the heat. Plenty of shade on each fairway from the tree line but be careful of using coloured balls on holes 4 and 6 (we lost 2 blue and 1 green to a swooping crow). I recommend a round at Woodville.

Sydney's best cost effective golf course for par 71 course. 16th hole is my favourite of par 4 Dog legged with generous space for any slices. It used to have notorious dry fairway, giving elbow pain for many, but it gotten much better these days. Can notice many new golfers on the field. Try to book Saturday morning time if possible.

A popular public course I've frequented for almost 20 yrs. Not the best, but they do try hard to maintain it the best that they can. The greens are the better parts of the course.

I haven't played at Woodville for a couple of years. The new and improved course is wonderful. Seniors Day yesterday was so well organized and we all had a great day.Thanks everyone. My friends and I will be back to play more often.

Good public course. Staff always friendly. Cheap hit during the week. Long enough to have a good hit with some interesting dog leg holes on front and back. General condition has improved a lot over the last couple if years. A bit more money and it could be great.

Excellent public course. Pro shop staff were helpful and friendly, and ground staff were doing a great job. When fairway watering arrives, the course will go up a couple of notches.

Nice length and layout. Par72 course with very good price. We played mid October, 2013 and the fairway was missing heaps of grasses. The earth was too strong to do some iron shots. I may have to try again not in a dry season..
