Even our meals were delicious - we had two of their specials for the day (Kingfish and Sirloin Steak). Great venue for a group of friends!

D. M.Want the busiest and most electric pub in Sydney on a Thursday night? Come across to the Woolpack hotel because it’s trivia night and a full house! Great service, plenty of drinks to choose from and also one of the best parmigiana in Sydney. There’s even doggos allowed in the venue - too good 🐶👱🏻♂️

The trivia can make it difficult to chat with friends as the host talks loudly during the breaks.
Also had a weird thing at the bar where an older guy tried to pay for my drinks and the bar tender just let him without checking with me first. I didn't want to deal with that social obligation, old men are rarely actually just friendly, so a bit of bar staff training required there.

H. M.This is a proper local pub, but done well. Food isn't fancy, but it's tasty and generous. The fries are hand cut though, and they have a legit selection of hot sauces. Their Parmigiana isn't quite up at the Unicorn's lofty heights, but it is very good, and the fries are better.
Their biggest draw card is their selection of beers on tap. They have an excellent range of craft beers, and often some limited keg runs from breweries including Akasha, Feral, and Hop Nation. They have a huge range of tinnies for a pub too (takeaway available), and will also pour a Canimal (1L can) of any of their beers on tap to take home.
Staff are friendly without being over the top or faking it. Just good people.

The craft beer selection also is a must try and they have the old faves as well. The staff are always friendly, helpful and happy.
J. D.They have a few taps dedicated to craft beer which they get new kegs in all the time. Good selection of tinnies for takeaway. My only negative is the lady behind the bar isn't so friendly. She really doesn't like being there.
