I can't stop thinking about the peanut butter/chocolate vegan smoothie. The burger was amazing - I have never seen such a thick pattie that is properly cooked through and not burnt. The cheese was just ridiculous - very messy. In a good way. My daughter loved the nuggets and the chips and onion rings were amazing too. Totally worth the uber delivery fee and a brilliant covid iso treat. The problem is now how to stop ordering for every meal.

This place is a little oasis of deliciousness halfway along Port road. The staff are more than happy to cater for unusual requests whenever possible and go out of their way to make sure customers leave happy and satisfied. Personally, I can't go past the flame burger and sweet potato fries. Just the right sweet, salt and spicy combo....first burger that's actually hit the right chilli note for my liking. I'll certainly be back for more. 🌶🌶🌶

Ordered their Meat the Lot and BNS special — Both burgers are delicious and filling! (Our fave pick is the Meat the Lot) We also got some sweet potatoes on the side which are crispy and well seasoned! Great value for money. I rated this place 4 stars because of their lack in customer service. No one welcomed us, we waited for a couple of minutes waiting for someone to take the order. And it was not just us who experienced this even the next customers who came after us.Not even a good bye or thanks. That’s what this place is missing to get a 5/5! Hope they can improve it next time cause I will really love to go back.

We stopped in here for the first time today. At face value it looks to be a pretty ordinary burger store, however, the food was well above average. First, my partner appreciated that the shop has a dedicated vegan menu. Second, the burgers were delicious and well-sized. Third, they had excellent sweet potato chips. I usually do not like sweet potato chips because they are often served wet and cold, but these were extra crisp and very more-ish. We commented on this to the manager, who was appreciative and obviously to me puts care into his work. Would come again if I was in the area.

This place is weird, one guy was working the three of us ordered and then he practically ran out the back and started cooking. It took a while, the burgers were quite good. Anyway there was no air con it was about 34 degrees outside, they did have a fan on which was annoying blowing stuff around and there was TONS of flys buzzing around our heads and all over our food. I won't eat here again.

Just ordered the Fill Me Up, and it did exactly what it said on the tin. Cooked really well too. The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is that there was only one staff member working. I feel bad for him in there running around like a headless chicken trying to serve me and three other customers. You need to hire at least two staff a shift, or reduce the prices of the items if you can't afford another staff member.

One of Adelaide’s hidden Burger places is located in the western suburbs! Well deserved burger joint that would be classed as one of Adelaide’s best hidden foodie gems! The design of the whole shop has this stylish American, 80s but modern “Grease Movie” interior vibe that is just so Instagram worthy but super chilled and relaxing! The staff are so friendly and happy to wait while you feel overwhelmed with the huge variety of chooses for food! The menu for vegans is crazy and meat eaters calm down you can get your beef to (but i will be only be talking about the vegan food here). They have so many vegan items just to name a few, Vegan Bonza Burger, Vegan Chicken BBQ Burger and The Vegan Vaygon (The lot)! A Burger that has vegan Egg and Bacon like.......what!! Crazy I know but amazing and just want you need when your looking for the perfect comfort foods! And great large portions worth every cent!!

Overall a good burger, it was just a tad bit too greesy for my taste, and I know that burgers are greesy but it was just a bit too much, but other than that it was good, service was ok, no one was at the counter when I arrive so I was wondering where to order since they have also another counter which confused me. Staff was half and half, the other half was good and smiling while the rest seemed they did not want to live, place was ok, easy access by both private and public transport. Had my burger as a take away since the smell of the cleaning product they use was a bit too strong.

A steady flow of customers the entire time we were here, so that proves it's a popular place. Terrific sweet potato wedges with spicy aioli sauce. Not a large eating space, so getting a few chairs can be difficult.

Vegan burgers are the best in Adelaide hands down. My friend said the meat burger was pretty nice too. Chips are also amazing. The only downside is I don't rate the shakes and it's best not to order over the phone then pick up, just go there and wait it won't take long and will be hot and fresh :)

Stopped by burgers n shakes today. Was very intrigued by their vegan and gf burgers. I gotta say i was surprisingly impressed! The burgers were not your over the top americanised burgers. It reminded me a lot of the classic aussie burgers with the lot. That nostalgia for me made the experience even better. The chips were perfectly crisp and the shakes were delicious! Being lactose intolerant its so hard not having milkshakes. The vegan shakes were amazing! So much flavour! Definitely would recommend

This is such a great addition to the inner West. After being broken hearted that my beloved Fancy Burger left Welland, I welcomed the arrival of Burgers N Shakes with open arms. With a good selection of beef burgers, it's the big selection of vegan burgers and sides, that really sets it apart from other burger franchises. They are bloody tasty too. For me, the best thing about the place is the sweet potato chips. They are absolutely the best I have ever eaten. Ever. They are big and crispy, but soft too. I don't know how they do it, but keep doing it. They are sublime. Good service and a cool layout too, I cannot give it 5 stars though because there is only one meat option, beef. If you're not a red meat eater, like myself, and don't like a 'fake' chicken taste either you're out of luck. I don't mind the 'faux' chicken so I hope Burgers N Shakes will be around for years to come! Recommended.

It is not your typical fast food chain that would give you the burger in less than 2 minutes as the patties are quite thick and takes time to cook. Juicy patties, their chips are out of this world. Took 25 minutes for my burger and rings, burger was subpar although the rings weren't bad. For a burger joint I'd say its on par with maccas or hungry jacks but you have to wait for your food longer. If you're looking for a great burger go somewhere else. Edit: I've looked over the older reviews and it seems they used to be better. Maybe a change of management? Can confirm it was filthy inside with dirty floor and tables.

I had "Fill me up" burger there and i used to love it. But now that i am on "Gluten free diet" i was so worried if I'll get the same taste in GF burger. Awesome burgers, burger patties were super fresh. I asked the owner and he told me that they buy the meat on daily basis and make it the same day. I don’t think there is anywhere in adelaide you could find as fresh. Staff was friendly. They even came to check if every thing was alright. Very reasonable price. Had the Bonza Burger. Great experience. Definitely better than Nord Burger or Grill’d or Burger Club. Will definitely be going back.

I have eaten at alot of burger places around Adelaide. This is definitely one of the good ones. The burgered option was fantastic. Meat was juicy and flavoursome, the vegan bonza burger was delicious and a great option for vegans.
