Absolutely delicious! We ordered pork fried dumplings, Shanghai fried noodles and chilli beef on rice. All the dishes were perfect! They tasted amazing and left us wanting to eat more, but the dishes were just too good a value! We couldn't even finish them. We ended up taking them back for a late night snack :) The only minor issue was the timing of the food. They seemed to take a while to come out with a long wait between each dish. We would definitely dine here again if we were to visit Adelaide again!

Corner store at the edge of Chinatown. Basic Asian store where you can get a decent sized serving at an affordable price. Fried prawn and chicken dumplings were good, juicy when you bite into it. You can add vinegar sauce and some not so spicy chilli shrimp paste on the side. Goes well with it. Skin of the dumpling is more to the thick side. Crumbed pork with rice is quite good. Very crunchy and well crumbed. Could do with bit more sauce on the side. Rice was quite dry, would think that's the most basic component of the dish to get right..

My family of three had lunch here two days in a row. We found the food is reasonably priced and very good portion considering it is in the heart of the city. Noodles/fried rice cost $13.90 and it tasted good - nothing fancy; just hawker style eatery concept (for those who have travelled in SEA region would understand). My daughter and I are small eaters so we shared a plate. Would recommend it-- value for money and we didn't have to wait long for food - had the items within 10 minutes (travelled during COVID when most places only had local tourist).

The store is just at the foot of Chinatown so that's the first store around. It wasn't really busy at that time so I didn't have to wait for long around. They'll give you the menu when you enter and you'll have to go to the counter to order. The server was pretty nice and they worked quickly, they serve tea in the jugs on the table as well so serve yourself. Food was not the best but decent for the price. They have a huge variety and pictures of some food on the wall.

Decided to have lunch at Dumpling King, and tried their mapo tofu. There are better ones out there, but it was still a good meal. They have a wide variety of dishes (mostly Chinese) on offer, decently priced, and when I had lunch there the waiting time was reasonable. The complementary tea was a bonus!

I went to Chinatown with a mate and we enjoyed their food. I had curry chicken and rice. I forgot what my mate had! They've got the best in Adelaide when it comes to their cuisine! I will be coming back here in the future!

Have visited this place many times and will continue to in the future :) Okay food, okay price, and most importantly, I get full from eating here yay. By okay I mean some dishes are good while some are quite terrible, so it's a bit similar to playing a lottery for your meal XD. But a safe choice I'd recommend is the Seafood Dry Noodle/Rice, or any of the Dumplings.

Came here the other day after not having gone in a while and the food, the service and everything in between was just as great as I remember just by being there I felt happy. I will definetly reccommend coming here. Very nice staff and great food your whole family can enjoy. I give it four starts because nothing is perfect and you can always improve but keep it up guys :)

Liked the Shanghai noodles but the nasi goreng wasn't the best. Very confused flavours. Tasted like Vietnamese broken rice doused in fish sauce. Think it would have been wiser to get dumplings. Oh well, 4 stars for the noodles, not for nasi goreng.

I had noodles with pork. The flavour was good and the noodles arrived hot. The dish is very cheap and about the right size for lunch. Their chilli and onion jam to go with your food is quite amazing and well worth using liberally. A touch of heat. I enjoyed my meal and would return next time I'm in town.

One of my favourite casual restaurants in all of Adelaide. It's cheap, it's casual, there's free Green Tea and if there's a better fried pork dumpling in SA I haven't found it! They are always the perfect amount of crispy and juicy, and I can never get enough. The spicy chicken in noodle soup is delicious and filling as well, and perfect for when you're under the weather. Love love love Dumpling King!!

Tasty food, generous portions at low prices right in china town. The decor is minimalistic in there as compared to other restaurants in that area. They were quite busy on a Monday evening. Do note- they don't have EFTPOS facilities. Cash only- which explains the 4 stars. Otherwise, well worth the visit.

Not best dumplings apparently. But if ur hungry and have no interest in looking for a better choice, go for it. The dumpling skin is quite thick, the filling is not flavorsome. The chilli sauce is not spicy and is not the type of sauce used & served in china - i have a feeling that the resurant is trying to accomodate local ppl s tastebuds hence not very authentic food to chinese. The spring onion pancake is thin and oily, like deep fried food, completely different from cong you bing sold in china. Wouldnt revisit on my own.
