Great family dinner at Estia. The whole experience was seamless. Making a last minute booking over the phone? Easy and professional - despite the venue at full capacity when we arrived. Friendly service with a smile. Pacing of the food being brought out was spot on. Delicious bang on Greek food done well. Will make this place a regular. Try the Saganiki.

Best Lamb in Adelaide that’s for sure! Tried Estia because a few Greek friends recommended it. Definitely lives up to its reputation. Lamb was so succulent. Dips & sauces were well-balanced & complimented the meat dishes well. The calamari was cooked perfectly and was paired with chickpea salad which was a great touch to the flavours! Will be back for sure!

An excellent night out for the group of friends or family with great food and vibes. Food was delicious, servings were generous, Seafood was fresh. Our group of 7 was well fed. There was a good variety of drinks and cocktails Service was attentive and quick. Our waiter, Ethan, knew menu well and gave great recommendations. Pricing: $30-40 per head not including drinks What to order: Dips - taramosalata, pita bread (each serve is enough for 3-4 people) Mezedakia - Saganaki pan fried cheese, Tis skaras Oktapodi chargrilled octopus, chargrilled scallops. For meats - chargrilled chicken, chargrilled lamb fillet, traditional pork sausage, keftedes Overall, it was a great dining experience and I would come back again.

Lunch at @estiahenleybeach: good location and good service, but the food was only okay. I think the starters were better than the mains. The food is not bad, just not the best Greek food in Adelaide (also according to our Greek friends 😜😜). . Saganaki: always a favourite! This was nicely done. . A combination of 5 dips: excellent, but you can't really go wrong with dips 😜. The bread was good too. . A giant platter of many different items: great option for sharing! The calamari was decent - although some were a bit chewy. The dolmathes were nice. The grilled prawns were excellent, and the chicken and pork were okay, but the lamb was a bit overcooked - they were a bit tough. . Chargrilled eggplant, potato, capsicum, zucchini and fresh herbs, layered and oven baked in tomato: good flavours, nicely done!

Some of the best Greek food you will eat in Adelaide We booked a table for two. Friendly welcome and escorted to the table. Cold water was served and our order taken. So couple of weeks ago I visited Greece 😳 No seriously dude when Adelaide has @estiahenleybeach that is also on the shore of beautiful ocean. This beautiful awards winning Greek restaurant has taken my heart away…. Loved every bit of indulgence here…. The menu could be bit complex however staff is very friendly in explaining the menu…. Briami is the dish must try for Me ….. totally loved the authentic rich flavours…. Great attentive staff and friendly. However, servings are quite small for their full main choices. We ordered 5 full choices - all served in one platter. Maybe servings could be a little more, as prices are $26 for full main per choice. A waitress was good though and full of energy.

The best service and food we have received in years. We were served by a lovely waiter named Tim, he was very attentive and friendly. Tim made sure our glasses of whatever we were drinking were topped up, which is what I would expect at any restaurant and rarely get. To make our evening extra special the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. First time visiting Estia and overall my husband and I were pretty pleased! Food was delicious, especially the lamb and calamari. Highly recommend getting the dips and pita as a starter. My only disappointment was that we had a reservation but had been sat inside in a pokey little corner while tables outside sat vacant the whole time we were there. When we asked to be seated outside we were told they were fully booked.

Estia is a must go place for well priced, ample portioned and, most importantly well seasoned Greek cuisine in Henley, Adelaide. Must try are the salt and pepper squid, variety of grilled meat, mousaka and,!!!! loukomedes!!!! Table service is fantastic and you will be well looked after by the friendly staff!

Oh my god. A very nice place. I went on a date with my hubby after a while and enjoyed every minute of it in this place. The dolmathes soooo refreshing and delish. The mains also so nice and filling. Was looking at a late lunch after being on the beach New Years day and the wonderful staff accommodated myself and a friend even though the kitchen was closing. Beautiful food and service. The food is fresh and well presented, and came very fast. You can order any dish in two different sizes, small and large. I ordered three small dishes and one large size, but the large size was very small to me and a bit overpriced ( just few wedges, a bit of salad and three fish fillets).

To dine at Estia is to experience the best Greek food at very good prices and with really friendly and helpful staff. We had booked 2 weeks earlier with a $80 hold on a table for 8 and with an expectation to stay for a long dining experience but we were told on two occasions that we had to hurry as the table was required for another booking, Very disappointing as we would have spent more if we were able to stay. We have been going to Estia for 25 years and it is a shame that this churning of tables is happening now. I realise that it is there to make money but when a group books early it should not happen.

We visited this place with a previous booking otherwise very difficult to find a place due to amount of people having dinner. We ordered kids meal ($15) however I don't recommend it because they have too much fries and only a few calamari. Definitely better option in my opinion is to order an adult meal (full calamari is $22 I think). Grill chicken very recommended. We would like to come back if we have time enough

Was pleasantly surprised dining here. Had never had Greek food before, but really enjoyed the variety and it was delicious. We were very full when we had finished. I have never been to any restaurant with such fantastic staff. Wow, professional and friendly, they were outstanding. An absolute credit to the business and to themselves. Lacks a genuine traditional menu/styling. Avoid the deep fried sauceless meatballs as an example. It was a busy sitting, and the wait staff were attentive. After spending a decent amount on an over priced ordinary banquet we had to negotiate to have included coffees at the table! Staggering better sittings/turn overs to benefit the comfort all dinners/guests will improve the experience for all. Needs to finesse the overall operation. Quality competition in the area requires it.

We had our wedding dinner there tonight and was blown away by not only the food(which was in abundance and of the highest quality as always) but even more by the quality Customer service that we received by Jayden and his team. They have a beautiful food and wines. My husband and I came here to celebrate a special occasion. My husband is passionate about food and he likes this restaurant. Even there was a scaffolding outside seems they were doing a renovation we still decided to dine here. Service was not good. No one greeted us when we went inside. There were only 2 tables occupied the rest empty that was around 6:30pm. We asked the staff if we can seat close to the fire she said the table not available. They should have put a reserved sign, a table for two should not be denied as it is very easy to set up a table for two, unless we asked for table for 10. Was about to leave but glad I remain composed. The service was slow. It took ages to serve the food. It took time to get another drink. We've lost interest in ordering more food and drinks. And.. It took time to get the bill.

Recently my family and myself were staying down at Westlakes. We thought we may try this restaurant based on a friend recommending it to us. Well, I am so glad he did. 5 Stars. From the phone call booking the table, to the time we left, the service was brilliant. We were shown to out table outside, which was lovely. I must say, the chairs may need replacing soon though, ours were a bit wobbly. That is all I could fault. The food was AMAZING!!! I have never been to a Greek Restaurant before, I am a Schnitzel guy!!!!. Well, Greek food is now a new favorite. We ordered 3 share plates, recommended by the waiter. Salt n Pepper Squid, Char Lamb and Char Chicken. Served with a side salad. YUMMY is all I can say. Now, not knowing that at Greek Restaurants, they do not have tartare sauce. So I found out. I always have tartare sauce with my calamari. The waiter that served us smiled to me and said that Greeks dont eat tartare sauce with their seafood. Anyway, about 5 minutes later, the waiter returned and placed a bowl of tartare sauce in front of me, and said there you go Sir. I was amazed. The lovley man had gone next door to the fish n chip shop and got me a bowl of taratre sauce to eat with my calamari. This service blew me away. Well Done to this superhero. I wish I got his name to put in this review, he deserves a mention. Anyway, we will return here again and again. Thank you

We had the Greek Salad, Saganaki, Chargrilled Octopus, Chargrilled Prawns and Whitebait and Lamb Fillet. The salad was soaked in oil, chargrilled seafoods were not grilled enough. In fact only 2 of the five or six prawns tasted fresh; the rest were gummy. The lamb fillet wasn't grilled enough either - they looked grey and steamed-like and a few pieces a touch under. The whitebait wasn't soggy but wasn't crunchy either and had an odd floury taste to them. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. We expected more from a restaurant that has received numerous awards throughout the years - the food should punchier, with (garlickier) stronger flavours and cooked to perfection, but we got the opposite. Don't get me wrong, it's better than many other pub/standard restaurants elsewhere, but its not award winning standards. Overall we were quite disappointed. On the upper side, service was professional, quick and attentive. We really wanted to give this place 4 stars or higher, but 3.6 stars for food and 4 stars for service.

Beautiful, This is my second time to Estia, the food was amazing. We had a share platter with lamb chicke and chevachi. There was nothing that wasn't amazing. They squeezed us in as a walk in, but it didn't feel rushed at all. Being by the beech and outside on a beautiful summer night eating food from what is an Adelaide culinary institution. What more could you ask for. Price wise, our bill with everything mentioned, a shared entre and Greek salad and 2 drinks, $94. So reasonably priced for great food.

Their menu is packed full of traditional Greek dishes that you can mix and match to create your own platter, making it the perfect place to go with a group of friends. This place was amazing! We got 5 small plates between my wife and I and when the food got to us, I'm glad we ordered smalls, because they were big. The customer service was 10 out of 10, food was 10 out of 10, where we sat was 10 out of 10. If you like feta, try their feta, because its AMAZING! Even if you're 30 minutes away from the restaraunt, find some time to stop by, because it's worth it.

Amazing Greek food and excellent service. I can't find a single fault with Estia. The staff are fantastic and the menu is delicious. I drank the 2 Greek beers they had whilst dining. This was truthfully one of the best lunches I have ever had. We went here to celebrate my birthday and we had a vegan, two pescatarians and a gluten intolerant in our party. We arrived to a warm welcome after a short notice dinner booking and offered a few choices of seating. The surroundings and atmosphere was the perfect setting one should appreciate from a Greek restaurant. When asked for a beverage preference from the wine list we were kindly directed to a Shiraz which completed our meal perfectly. We ordered 3 smalls and a chicken and lamb share combo. The flavours were exquisite and portions very generous. Only flying in from Cairns 2hrs previously it was the start to a short holiday that I will always remember. Friends and I flew especially for my birthday from Melbourne to Adelaide and taste the food in that restaurant. It was chosen based on the rewards and great comments... A huge variety of Greek food can be found here with nothing to makes you feel you're having Greek food. I am so sorry but a lot of the dishes needs to be approved... I don't want to mention what exactly it was wrong... The service was quick and the staff was really nice and kind. It will be good if the staff has more knowledge about the wines in general, however I was satisfied as well with the Greek Wine List. Our meal not only ticked these boxes, but was beautifully presented and of a very generous portion. We did not book ahead, and the staff graciously found us a table in the cool air conditioning although they were heavily booked. My partner and I travel constantly for work and this is some of the best Greek food I have had across the country in terms of quality and value for money while maintaining a classy dining experience. A great restaurant located in Henley Square! My wife and I enjoyed every minute, food was well portioned, very authentic, tasty and well priced. The menu isn’t super huge which is good and the wine and drinks list is of similar size so you are not sitting thinking about what to eat and drink. Service was above and beyond as all staff were friendly and catered to our needs in a hastily fashion. I would highly recommend Estia for any occasion for a great night with family and or friends! Definitely will return in the near future.

Nice food but something to be aware of. There were 6 of us. 4 ordered a main to share and the other two ordered some entrees also to share. The meals came as 4 x mains plus an entree of the each of the mains plus the other entrees. When we queried the bill the staff said when 6 people order 4 mains the meals are served as 1.5 mains each. After some words the restaurant finally agreed to refund the 4 entree size meals. Also be very aware. We were seated outside under the pergola in the shade but my wife got a very severe case of sunburn. The pergola does not screen UV rays. Dangerous for babies and kids as well.

Our first dinner was a wow moment dining around a table of mezze platters on par with what we’ve experienced on the islands of Greece. After a second and third dinner we asked Nick if he could deliver a night to remember for our wedding day, and deliver he did. Yes the food, wine and service were a standout and made for an unforgettable night, but what Nick and his crew also exercised with genuine sincerity is care factor. We were simply treated like family and fed generous helpings of the finest Greek cuisine. You can come out of any restaurant contently full and satisfied when it’s all done right. At Estia they always respond thoughtfully and without hesitation to ensure your experience leaves you wanting to come back.

I like their food. It's tasty and good. Unfortunately I was there on a sunny weekend, when the it was too much crowded. Too many people were there so I had to wait on a queue for a while before ordering. Which I don't mind as I say it must be popular. Inspite of so many orders, they managed to serve fast. But they were run out some popular sauces, which kinda important as There food are enhanced with those sauces. I hope they will be prepare with items for a busy day as fulfilled it's demands. The food is lovely, the service is ok. The SOREST point was when we were charged "cakeage" $20 without any knowledge because we brought desserts with us. I understand and appreciate that a few restaurants do not support BYO. However, getting charged for it "sneakily" is NOT acceptable. Had we been advised beforehand rather than appreciating our desserts by the waiters that we will be charged or that the restaurant does not allow BYO... it would have been a different ballgame. Left a bitter aftertaste.... I wish there is more transparency with the customers and they don't feel what we felt.
