Firstly the great customer service made it the best reason to come back again. Secondly the food was very good, from the burger, the fish, the chips, potato cakes, Crab stick, crumbed sausage and so on. However personally the chips the last time was very salty compared to normal and even though you were voted number 1 I prefer chicken chef chips much more. Your Portuguese chicken burger is definately the best burger I have ate on the south side of Adelaide. Keep up the great work and I look forward to my next visit soon.

We live way too close to this place. Love walking here, sitting outside with a drink and some food. Food is so good! Always fresh, always quality. Good selection of different tasty salads that are much more thoughtful than the usuals in a takeaway shop. Generous serving sizes and friendly service. It’s like restaurant quality seafood at fish n’ chip shop prices and efficiency. The sweets in the cabinet are damn good too… and now I see they’ve dangerously opened another store for these only two doors down 😳

My friends and I had an amazing chats here. Since it is located in the suburb, the surroundings is a bit quiet and the atmosphere is also calm. I had the Big Barra (Barramundi fish) and it was really delicious, but some friends had Fisherman's Baskets said that the shrimps were not fresh.

Really amazing food, big fillets, the Flake was sensational. We placed a pretty large order for 8 people Saturday night, 4 different groups, they were spot on, the chips were so good, steak sandwich was really good, tender and toasted to perfection. Apparently my wife overheard the owner praising his team as they left, so good to hear. We’ll be back, as we only found out about this place via family friends. I think we ALL know how important it is to have an awesome LOCAL fish n chip shop. Excellent shop.

Really glad we found this place while travelling. Really tasty fish -- batter delicious and not too heavy like others I've had. Chips were amazing! Ordered a local catch, chips, coleslaw and calamari. The fish is flaky and creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The chips are not dried but equally crispy and delicious. Coleslaw is not too creamy which is good. We love the crunchy fresh mix of veg. Last but not least, the calamari tastes as good as the rest too. We have it all as take-aways....good munchies for movie night with friends gathering.

Wow... Incredible fish & chips! Of all the places I have been from far south to up north and everywhere in between SA, this is definitely my top pick! I suppose the quality would vary depending on the chef for the day, but in the two experiences I've had I was impressed by the quality of the food and the twist of flavour and creativity. The array of salads are delish! The fish I had today was grilled with olive oil and sea salt; it was flaky and perfect enough to break apart and eat with your hands. The tartar sauce isn't essential but for those that enjoy it, this one tastes very fresh and homemade with real, natural ingredients - it's slightly tangy with lemon juice. The chips were done just right, crunchy, light, and soft on the inside, not at all greasy or overly salty. Looking forward to trying more on the menu :) Staff were very friendly and considerate, as well.

You want the best tastiest burgers in town. This place stands alone!! Nothing compares, lived in the USA for 15 years, even the yanks would be proud. Fresh produce with plenty of girth and super fresh. If youre looking for a petit breoche bun with no guts, go elsewhere, like all those other rubbish pop up burger bars that are half the size. Really fresh and delicious seafood! The seafood basket was massive with enough chips for 2-3people! The grilled barramundi was excellent, fresh, succulent and perfectly seasoned. Garfish and calamari rings was great and happy you provide GF options. Service was the best I've had at any chippie place. Only minor gripe is that the whiting had quite a few pieces of bones which sort of ruined the eating experience for my friend, but it was tasty. Have had KGW in a few places and this was the first time we saw so many bones so this might be something to raise with the supplier, unless you debone in-house.
