Great food with great service.
We opted for the feed me 5 course and it was perfect for the 4 of us. All the food was great and we didn't leave hungry.
The service was really good, attentive staff who knew their stuff. The only down side is the wine list, it's not too big but minimum for a wine is $80 a bottle, average was about $140. We got a few imported bottles which were nice but a few more local ones would have been a nice touch.

When we arrived we were greeted with friendly staff. The restaurant has a great warm feeling to it, plenty of seating and lots of staff. We were shown to our table and our waiter was with us in seconds to give menus and to offer water. The waiter promptly took drinks orders and then returned to explain the menu and answers any questions. To start with I had the scallop which apple which arrived in a huge bowl of ice with another dish in the middle the most buttery raw scallops I have eaten! For main I had the pork and fennel campanile pasta which was full of flavour and with a slight hint of chilli. To finish I had the mango and mint pavlova, this was absolutely amazing and a great way to finish a meal. This would have to be one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Certainly worth visiting.

We didn’t have a booking and are grateful to the team for finding us a place to sit on a Friday evening. Fugazzi is buzzing with an electric energy as the barmen whip up signature and classic cocktails. We couldn’t fault the food and I went in headfirst to order the signature pasta plus caviar. It was a sophisticated flavour however, I wouldn’t splash the dough again. Highly recommend

A few interesting dishes. Interestingly enough, the doughnut with the honey and ricotta is my favorite of the courses. The anchovy and fermented yuzu is very flavourful, but you might have trouble finishing it. The chicken(?) Drumstick is crunchy and boneless, but the anchovy on it was a bit powerful for my liking.
Definitely worth the price tag for what you get. I will come back again.
The downside of our experience is that we booked for an 8pm table and waited for 30 minutes to be seated... on a Monday .

I visited this beautiful eatery yesterday for a friend's function and was absolutely blown away by the experience. The interiors were just stunning combined with the sounds of Bobby Darin.. it gave a 'new york-esque' feel to the venue. The food was sensational. The staff were brilliant. I have never left a review anywhere in my life but this place is highly deserving! I will be back.

Beautiful restaurant with good fresh pasta and fancy cocktails.
Service was friendly efficient but we had to ask the attention of the waitress all the time for anything we needed including seeing the menu or asking for a drink. It was a public holiday and they were busy but still I wish it could have been easier. They are not very kids friendly as there is no high chair or kids menu. They didn't have a juice so we asked for a cordial with soda water for my 3year old daughter and they end up serving us a 12 dollars expensive mocktail...
The pasta is very good and the appetizers are amazing but expensive. Still worth it.
It is a place for couples dining...the tables are small and even though the booths are nice still not very good for a group or a family with more than 4.
Bathrooms are nice and clean a plus for me.
The steak was expensive but very good! Cooked to perfection! Just wish there was more mashed potatoes.
Dessert is very good and the afogato is definitely amazing.
Coffee was served cold unfortunately.

I went with a group of 4 girls and we couldn't decide on what to order so we went with the tasting menu (5-course). Every dish was amazing and we were so glad the gnocco fritto was included (as we loved this dish at Nido). The servings weren't too much nor were they too small. It was just the right amount of food for us. Service was great and the restaurant was lovely, new and clean. Very cool bathrooms too!
E. B.
I visited today as part of Wine n’ Dine experience and love the place vibe. Service was good and attentive. The pasta flavour was on point! And the wine pairing was great. The only negative was that my pasta was a little too hard… borderline between al dente/undercooked.
Would love to visit again to try their menu!
A. D.
Okay where do I begin…. This vibe - immaculate. The food was sensational, the staff was fantastic, our cocktails were made with love and even the toilets where amazing. Who ever designed this place put so much love and care into every little detail. This place deserves the hype and attention ! A must try when coming to Adelaide !
V. M.
Delicious food and drinks, amazing desserts!
Staff was very friendly and professional and the restaurant is beautiful.
Highly recommend!

Group dinner at @fugazzi.bdr from a couple of weeks ago: overall the food was okay, but the tasting menu was a little bit underwhelming for us - the starters were excellent, and then we had 1 pasta and 2 mains. Some other friends went on a different day and had an amazing time with more food choices - they got 3 pastas and 1 main (same number of people). I think I would go back to try them again, but I would do a la carte instead. It's a bit of a shame that they make you do the tasting menu even with 6 people - it's perhaps a bit too strict. I think 8 people or more is likely more reasonable.
.
Oysters with balsamic, shallot, Yuzu, black pepper: very fresh and fantastic taste! The Yuzu dressing was great 😍😍.
.
Raw tuna with homemade crisp: delicious! Party in your mouth 😜.
.
Non seafood option: lamb backstrap skewer, smoked cheese on bread - really great options for the ones who don't eat seafood. Super yummy!
.
Crispy salami and mortadella finger Sando, with pickled shallots and pecorino. This was amazing! Possibly my favourite dish of the night. The bread was super soft, and the salami was super crispy. So good!!
.
Whipped ricotta wand honey, with gnoccho Frito. This was okay. A bit on the bland side.
.
Osso bucco pasta with peas, rosemary. Flavour was okay, but there wasn't much meat in this pasta dish.
.
Wood grilled Angus scotch fillet: this steak was absolutely delicious - perfectly cooked!
.
Wood roasted Murray cod: this was a big disappointment. The fish tasted really fishy that night, and the skin was REALLY salty 😖. My friend who had it on a different night really likes theirs, so it might have been a bad night. But still...
.
Dessert: semifreddo affogato - it tasted good, but I just felt that it could have been more creative. It was literally a piece of semifreddo with espresso chocolate sauce poured on it.

great atmosphere, set up and experience at Fugazzi. would definitely go back!
But not sure how i feel about paying $20 for a house pinot, overall great time and customer service.

A new benchmark in traditional Italian dining in Adelaide.
Impeccable fitout and styling which makes for a truly unique and impressive ambiance.
Great service and a modern approach to customer engagement. Personable, but professional and well versed on the menu.
The wine list is impressive to say the least and provides for even the most astute wine buff.
The menu is concise, compact and on-point. A perfect example of keeping it simple yet effective. Caters for every almost every palate you can fathom and comes loaded with flavour profiles that leave you hanging for more.
Executed to perfection from start to finish and can't wait to return.

The food at Fugazzi is easily amongst the best I've tried in Adelaide. Whether it is the initial small plates, the pasta dishes or mains, they are all made to share. I'll need three visits at least to get through every choice, they are all THAT GOOD! Dining at Fugazzi will no doubt maintain the former Rigoni's tradition of being the place to dine in Adelaide. And if nothing else, you must try the whipped ricotta and honey with gnocco fritto, preferably as a dessert - it is amazing!
T. D.
Fugazzi is a beautiful little Italian-American restaurant, on the high end of Adelaide dining. The ambience was really nice and we felt like we were in New York. The customer service was impeccable and food delicious and a large selection of quality wines. The only things preventing 5 stars was the price being above average for some of the pasta dishes and tables being too close together, meaning the place gets loud when busy. Definitely would go back.
I. H.
Just an outstanding experience. The staff are welcoming, polished and well informed. We received flawless service all night. The food was exceptionally presented and some really interesting flavours.
The pasta dishes were sublime and sorbet dessert one of the best ends to a meal I’ve had.
I cannot recommend Fugazzi more! Incredible
Y. c. a.
I’d heard Fugazzi was good beforehand, so I had high expectations.
The service, food and drink are excellent. They have a coopers beer on tap brewed specially for them, apparently.
All the dishes were superb. The wagyu steak we had was cooked to perfection.
The high ceilings mean you can actually have proper conversations with your table (without background music or chatter causing a distraction).
I have a new favourite venue! Can’t wait to return.
S. B.
Had a great Friday night dinner. Wonderful staff who are friendly and a very cool setting with jazz music to eat by. The entrees were delicious. The pasta well cooked and the crab sauce was lovely. A very nice cheese platter and a wonderfully yummy doughnut for dessert.
J. D.
Ever since opening, I really wanted to dine here. From Melbourne, finally got to Adelaide and made a bee line to this restaurant. And what did I find there. Space amazing, staff terrific, food brilliant. But the impressive thing for me was seeing one of the owners on the pass and on the tables. The only reason 5 stars weren't given...nothing in this world is perfect...Would go back in a heartbeat....
C. C.
Well done to the group of same owner of oggi, shobosho and NIDO. Fugazzi is very chill(we rock up at 10pm on a Thursday night in trackies) . The flavour is on point, service is good, will be back.
J. K.
Really nice vibe. The staff have spunk but are amazingly attentive and knowledgable.
The food is yummy and they can make a few extra vegetarian dishes if needed.
Love the cabbage main. The steaks were big.
Finally seeing a Vespa on the drinks menu made me really happy!
K. K.
Lovely set up, service and ambience; unique food experience and didn’t disappoint. Loved the extensive drinks menu and wine offerings.
M. C.
Staffs are absolutely knowledgeable and friendly. Even after covid lock down they prepared good quality of foods and wine. Especially bluefin tuna was really good~
J. Y.
Love the deco and atmosphere. Went there twice, the food is good. Good cocktail but Mocktail is not so great.
S. O.
Absolutely delicious food and the fit out is so nice! We got the tasting menu and it was very well priced considering the delicious range of food. It would be so nice for a birthday dinner with a group!
M. H.
Came for a weekday lunch. Really lovely, funny & personable staff and a great menu. Gluten free & vego options. Exceptional wine list.
Inside fit out is outstanding but it’s lovely to eat outside on the street on a nice day.
M. P.
We wish we could give 6 stars. Delicious food - every dish was spot on! Beautifully prepared and presented. "Melt in your mouth" doesn't begin to describe it. Wine list was good. All staff were professional and knowledgeable, but Mark, our specific waiter, was gold! Excellent recommendations and witty ...and that is not just because my name is also Mark! Thanks Fugazzi (and Mark) for possibly our best meal ever!!
M. J.
Divine Italian restaurant decked out with simple yet sophisticated decorations. Even the toilet was lavish. Amazing service and food came out pretty quickly. Wide range of alcoholic drinks. The food was all delicious. Ox tongue was so tender and melted in your mouth, but yet crispy on the outside. Anchovy on buttered toast was so crispy, didn't taste like vegemite. Whipped ricotta and honey paired so well together to go with fried gnocco fritto. Blue swimmer crab pasta was creamy, even had salmon roe, and little bit on the salty side. But it had a rich crab flavour. The gnocchi was so soft and goes well with the ragu. The mince was tender. Finished off with a refreshing yoghurt gelato which wasn't too sweet but was accompanied by thick honey in the middle and some sour plum jam. The affogato and chocolate semi freddo was my absolute fave.
E. B.
Amazing dining experience with a delicious selection of dishes and a wide range of drinks with fabulous customer service and an magnificent interior.
H. M.
Although this time I only stopped by to sit at the bar for a martini made with the finest Gin🍸, this place has a completely theatrical character, of which I certainly hope there will be a curtain-raiser to a great gastronomic indulgence. Undoubtedly recommended!
T. O.
Amazing food, loved it! Great wine list too. This restaurant is supported by a very friendly and welcoming team, who all provided great customer service. I can't wait to come back again soon. Thank you Fugazzi Bar & Dining Room!
H. F.
Fantastic food. Do not miss the anchovy toast and the mortadella sandwich. Pasta was delish. Roman style pizza was piled high on a crunchy, structurally very sound base. Looking forward to returning to try the rest of the menu soon!
B. H.
We felt looked after and had tremendous customer service. The food was exceptional, really well presented and was clear a lot of love went into it. They cater for vegetarians, vegans and some gluten free dishes for coeliac as well. Couldn’t recommend higher!
F. J.
Amazing quality dishes! The ambience and decor was outstanding. The staff were able to alter the dishes to accommodate for our vegetarian preference. Highly recommend.
A. U.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Pasta was amazing and will be back soon to try something from the grill.
H. W.
Absolutely delish and wonderful dining experience. Couldn’t fault anything. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, food was creative & the flavours amazing! Can’t recommend highly enough. We didn’t have dessert but plenty of starters, steak and pasta!
V. D.
Really looked forward to visiting Fugazzi Bar and Dining Room when we visited last week.
There has been a lot of money spent on the fit out of this place, think lots of marble and drapes. We chose a seat at the bar, thinking it was a kitchen bar but alas it was just a bar - a very nice bar indeed, but no kitchen action!
We elected to have the tasting menu $78 per person for five courses. Although it states five courses it is really much more than that by the time you add all the side dishes etc and is definitely too much food! I get it, most people complain about not enough food in high end restaurants but you won’t have this problem here. I think the portions should have been a little smaller, again not something you hear all the time. It didn’t help that the first few things came out so quickly, we felt we were being rushed and asked them to slow down service, which they did.
All the food was delicious from the small plates through main courses and desert, a lovely selection of beautifully cooked food, tastefully presented. Standouts were the Mortadella Sando, Roman Vegemite finger, Whipped Ricotta and honey, Flat Iron Steak Frites (although noticeably absent were the frites).
There is a huge wine list of mostly imported wines with well inflated prices to match. We mostly drink Australian wine so selected a McLaren Vale Grenache which retails (not wholesales) for under $40. The price at Fugazzi - $89 which seems a little steep at more than double what I can buy it at the bottle shop.
On the whole, great food, service and surroundings although a little less food for the tasting menu and a little less markup for the wines would seem prudent.
S. Z.
Staff and food were absolutely amazing. Best food and service we had in a very long time. We had the chefs tasting menu and not one course disappointed. The flavours where amazing. I am a vegetarian and the options where as good as the non vegetarian options. The wine and drinks menu is huge and very well selected. We will be back! Thank you for an amazing experience.
S. L.
Great food and beautiful restaurant. Only negative was seriously long wait between courses, the couple next to us had the same experience with a 2 hour(!) wait between entree and main. Would still go back and enjoyed the meal.
C. B.
The food here was sooooo amazing! We did the feed me option for 2. Everything was delicious. We loved the balsamic oysters so much we came back the next day for some more.
S. B.
Lovely meal with the whipped ricotta & honey fritto and Osso Buco Gnocchi as standouts. My criticisms would be that it’s on the pricey side and were rushed by the waitress.
N. S.
We came here for dinner last night and we were looked after by the wonderful Issa! Issa was so friendly and went completely out of her way to make us feel welcomed. The food was brilliant and the menu was very diverse. I would definitely come back! Truly a great experience.
A. S.
The highlight of our dining experiences in Adelaide. Beautiful fitout, attentive service without being overbearing, DELICIOUS food and a typically great wine list as seems to be the norm for Adelaide restaurants. Still dreaming about those mortadella sandos!
M. M.
Food was good but $85 for a bottle of Prosecco was obscene. If the hospitality business want to entice people back they need to stop ripping people off
A.
I was so impressed by the food and service at Fugazzi restaurant. We got the 5 course tasting menu and i could not fault one dish on the menu!! To top of the incredible menu was the incredible service. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a friendly smile and from that moment on whoever served us throughout the night was so lovely, friendly and helpful. This place gets 5 stars from me and i cannot wait to return! Thank you for an incredible anniversary dinner fugazzi.
G. K.
dinner for 9 - the food is Italian but not the norm and we did the feed me style and was very pleased dishes came out 2 by 2 . rather than eating fast and waiting ages for the next course. This was brilliant by the restaurant. the wine list is great too
S. C.
Went for lunch one Saturday and because there was a group of us we had to have the banquet deal. I arrived late and was still made to have the banquet deal even though everyone else was nearly at desert. I had 4 courses brought out to me at once then a main course a few mins later. Wine list is amazing, beer list is terrible in fact beyond terrible. It was expensive, the waiting staff seemed over us by the time we left. The food was very nice though. Would I go back? No.
K. W.
Out of this world food, incredible selection of wine and a truly fantastic waiter. Do yourself a favour and check this place out, it doesn’t disappoint!
A. W.
Absolutely amazing, trust the tasting menu, grab a group of mates and just go, you will not be sorry! Amazing food, fabulous service, great understanding of allergies. Awesome cocktail menu. Decor, stoneware fab! Whole experience is delightful, I can't wait to go again which will be soon!
T. M.
Delicious food in a very cool space. Super friendly and accommodating staff made sure we got a fantastic late night meal and drinks
H. G. V.
Mortadella Fingers were out of this world. Friendly staff, steaks and pastas were tasty too
K. C.
The Food is great, a nice place to bring your family and friends.
L. S.
Lovely interior design and extremly friendly and welcoming staff. The menu, however was difficult to understand, it needs to be more spaced out, and disappointed to see there were no dietary options. Being a new restaurant, I usually expect this to be a focus in 2021. They offer a lot of food however being plant based, I had to ask what options there were and the waitress had to go and ask the kitchen and they had to whip something together, that turned out, not so great. I would love to go back in the future and see that there’s been more options added and are made clear on the menu. The meals also took a very long time to come out and it took a while for us to be seen by the staff, who were very lovely however.
J. D.
Amazing food and service. The young lady who served us was friendly, efficient and helpful. Food was delicious, you've got to try the Roman vegemite....I'm in awe! We had carbonara and blue swimmer crab pasta, both fabulous.
Sadly our girl either finished her shift or went on a break, service not so hot then.
K. D.
Great food, good service. Only thing was the pasta dishes was too much. And couldn't take any home in a " doggy bag".
Prices very expensive, but it's high end dining.
C. D.
We agree with Lucy Smith, the fit out, design, toilets, and staff were great however the carbs dense menu was very limited and difficult to understand. We went for a Birthday which wasn't even acknowledged.Booked a month ago for 5 turned up for a table for 4 seats. Not a patch on the old Rigoni's,probably wont return as there are much better options in the area
B. R.
Best Steak I have EVER eaten.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, service was excellent.. We walked in off the street and were warmly welcomed.. Great atmosphere, we will be back again to try the rest of the menu.. BRAD FISK
G. W.
Fantastic modern Italian food, really well thought through and prepared in a cosy setting. Our service was also very prompt, although mains took about 45 mins and left us only 15-20 to eat before being gently hustled off the table which was a bit of a downer that the bulk of that time had been waiting.
L. K.
On opening night this service and food was phenomenal. We are only from the snack menu but couldn't fault any other food. We will be back for the full menu. The front of house service and all the wait staff were beyond helpful and so friendly. This is now my new favourite place in the city.
T. N.
Good quality pasta and ingredients used.
Friendly and attentive staff. Biggest let down was the desert, felt more like a pallete cleanser, otherwise it would have gotten 5 stars.
L. D.
Entree was delicious. Service was upbeat and with a smile. Decor was beautiful.
A. H.
Good food , wine and atmosphere.
Staff were efficient and professional
P. B.
Totally loved this Restaurant...The Steaks And assorted Entrees were first class...Fantastic Background Music created a great Atmosphere for a very comfortable and Memorable Experience. A big thank you to the friendly Staff.
E. F.
Enjoyable food in a nice environment - not quite on the level of NIDO (the sister restaurant) but certainly worth checking out.
T. H.
We dined there last Sunday for lunch and what an experience. Unrushed, beautiful fitout and off the planet food offerings (and wine).
My new number 1 in the Adelaide dining scene!
See you again soon.
G. T.
Location super convenient, staff friendly and attentive and decor is lovely, however menu is limited and doesn't cater for dietary requirements. I found the prices very high for what was offered and wont be returning.
D. R.
Great food & drinks in a fantastic space! Will be back
A. K.
Absolutely delicious food and fabulous service! Highly recommended
