Highly recommend. Food is great quality, so fresh and really well presented. Very well priced. Just a bit confusing for first time hot potters. As we ended up getting way too much. In saying that the restaurant was very accommodating and understanding, bringing many containers and bags for the soup and ingredients for us to take home. So we felt very well looked after. Restaurant itself is very clean and decor is stylish. Will definitely return.

Go-in Hotpot is a nice staple hot pot stop, you can usually get a booking on the day, though I'd advise booking ahead just in case. Their selection is good, though I'd advise being mindful of the heat ratings if anyone in your group doesn't deal well with spice. Their salad/sauces bar is a great inclusion, the only thing I sometimes wish for is a little more space at the table, but overall a good experience

We've been fans of Go-In Hotpot from their Hindley Street days, and continue to be at their Gouger Street location. We're so glad that they have continued to offer individual (they call it 'small') pots as well as communal ('large') pots of soup base to cook your meal in. The range of soup bases on offer is wide and wonderful. After selecting your soup base, you then select the items to drop into your soup. Almost everything you can think of for a hot pot is available, ranging from different types of meats, seafood, vegetables, mushrooms, to tofus, and noodles. And if that wasn't enough, there's a range of cooked side dishes you could order just to ensure a wide and varied diet. The staff are super helpful and attentive. It is so popular - especially with the student crowd and on weekend nights - be prepared to wait for a table. Thankfully that's all the waiting to be done, for once your order is taken, food will start dropping onto your table really quickly. Recommended.

Recently had hotpot here with some friends and I definitely enjoyed the experience! There's so many options on how you can customise your hotpot, such as the broth and ingredients chosen. The restaurant was overall very tidy and the staff were very friendly and were constantly making sure customers were comfortable. I recommend getting the tom yum soup base because it's so delicious!

I love hot pot style restaurants, but unfortunately there aren’t many dedicated “hot pot” dining restaurants available in Adelaide. This is one of the bette ones. Upstairs only restaurant, wheelchair accessible. Upon entry you are greeted by a the floor Manager who seats you and then table service to take your order. All greeted with smiles and prompt service. It helps if you speak Chinese as not all table staff a fluent English spoken. We had Diana and she was fantastic, and kid friendly. First select your soup base, option to half or trio of soups. Then select your meats, seafood, vegetables and vegan options for dipping. Then the go to the create your own sauces. Your order is sent through on an iPad and the staff must be connected and communicate through their ear piece or something, well organized and use of technology. Our broth was topped up promptly throughout our night. The selection variety on offer from the pictured menu is plentiful and fresh and the price is reasonable. Rest rooms are nicely decorated and clean.

Great variety of dishes but soups were quite bland. We ordered quite a bit and the total cost for 2 pax was $160. Was a bit shocked by the price and felt uncomfortable that they didn't provide a receipt with a breakdown of the cost before charging us.

Pretty much typical Chinese wok restaurant with decent prices and good food. We realy like the Kimchi soup, spicy but that makes meat and veggies taste much better and enjoyable. The traditional soup (non-spicy) has a rather neutral taste and does not go so well with the mix. Apart from that, it's also a bit tricky to park close to the restaurant especially some crowded weekends.

Since new owner price has increased, not you have to pay for sauces. On busy nights you cannot book in advance and have to wait while watching other people. Food quality is good hence the 3 stars. Wanting to people with disability would have a hard time climbing the stairs as there are no elevator.

Amazingly good flavours and variety of menu options to chose for your hot pot. Staff can be a little slow but they’re very kind nevertheless. The prices are a little too high for what you’re actually buying, such as the meats. The seating areas are also a little cramped due to the large chairs. As comfortable as they are, it can be a big stressful trying to reach for food or get in and out of your seat. It’s a bit claustrophobic. Other than that, still happy to return here.

Good enough for a hot pot place. The service is good. The soup is tasty but spicy. The quality of the meat they choose is high enough. This is important for meat as under cook often happens in hot pot. The downside is that they charge extra if you pay by card.

Good hotpot soup base options, menu offers extensive selection for add-ins like meat and vegetable. Enjoyed the broth, especially in cold weather! Good service as staff remains attentive when soup needs topping up. Only complaint is that it’s pricey. Would come again for future hotpot craves.

Love this place & we go there often. Only reason I hit four star is, this place is a little congested. If you go in a group, there is no way you can get a baby seat, you have to keep your baby with you, which is a little risky. As baby loves to gab stuff and hot pot is very reachable. Rather than that, staffs are very helpful, food is yuuum and price is not bad.

One of my favourite places for dinner in Chinatown. Love the lamb soup base hot pot. It’s the best! Reasonable price and friendly service. They are getting better and better. We will continue going to this place.

Food was decent if a little on the pricey side for some of the portion sizes, especially for meat dishes. Upon payment I originally wanted to pay by card and was advised that paying by cash would give us a 10% discount. Not too sure how this discount was calculated as it definitely wasn't the full 10% off, but we did get a small amount taken off our bill in the end. Overall, I would still consider returning but I will not be a frequent customer.

It's been our go to for hot pot for years and has been recently renovated; making it look very modern and clean. The go to is always the Seafood Laksa soup base with the combination of seasame sauce and sweet chilli... then go ham with all the ham, beef and seafood; vegetables are optional but not required ;)

Great hot pot and lovely atmosphere and staff! For two people the food portions are more than enough, between the meat platter and the mushroom platter, and some staple foods, there was a lot for spares and we got to take them home! It definitely helps if you take someone who speaks chinese but they also have a decent grasp of english so it shouldnt be too much of a problem.

If you're actively looking for hot pots this is the place. If you've never eaten hotpot, and especially if you can't use chopsticks, you could be an embarrassment (bring an Asian friend). There's certainly better Chinese food elsewhere. DON'T BRING A DATE. Far from a romantic atmosphere.
