Modern and spacious restaurant with an attractive bar and friendly attentive staff. Food was a hit and miss.. Prawn bun was not bad, with saucy flavours. Hummus was really good. Cured trout was refreshing but it lacked a punch to the flavour.. Looks amazing though.. Scallops were alright. The sauce drowns the seafoodness of it. For mains, went with the 600gm dry aged rib eye, it was cooked medium rare in the middle, sides were bit over done. Cut was bit chewy.. And meat wasn't seasoned enough.. Needed more mustard sauce on the plate. Crispy pork belly was good, bit tough to cut the skin but the dish was well seasoned and could also use more sauce.. Barramundi fillet was not a good choice for us unfortunately, the flavours didn't work, and it lacked sauce again.. Considering the price, we had higher expectations.. Cocktails were yummy though.

Excellent on every front. Modern and innovative menu with lots of options, very accomodating of dietary requirements. Extensive wine list with plenty of by the glass options too. Super attentive staff alert but not in your face. Great venue with relaxing atmosphere/vibe.

**Visited downstairs basement (bar): It wasn’t very busy here for a Saturday night but makes sense due to current COVID restrictions in SA. Staff were lovely and the drinks menu was fantastic. Cocktails tasted amazing, average $20 per cocktail. Vibes here were nice and music was good too. Definitely coming back!

Jack & Jill's is a great venue with amazing staff. We came here for cocktails and a light snack and they did not disappoint. The whole restaurant area has a calming, modern vibe to it and a bar with a large, aesthetic selection of drinks. I ordered the fried pickles (pictured) with a light aioli sauce, pork belly, fried chicken and prawn bun, all of which came promptly and had a perfect crunch and balance of flavor. After some conversing with staff, I ordered a Rose cocktail (pictured) which also had a great balance of components. Although cocktails are slightly more expensive than other places, they are worth every dollar. This place is perfect for a first date and even dinner and drinks with friends. Big thank you to Jack (FOH), Ellah (FOH) and Courtney (bar) for making my first experience here memorable! I will definitely be back with some friends to try your dinner menu.

Amazing! Random pick that was gold. Staff were silver service level. Checked on us, kept water and wine refilled. Checked on our food etc. Attentive even though it was busy. Food was amazing! We go to many restaurants and this is on our list to return to often.

Was looking for a nice place for dinner on a Monday night and was very pleasantly surprised with the extensive food and beverage menu. The 3 main course dishes we ordered were amazing and the specials menu was very tempting. The wine menu was extensive and the wine was amazing!! Lastly, the service was brilliant and the staff were very professional and knowledgeable. This was my first Adelaide dining experience and I'll go back as soon as possible!

Can’t fault Jack and Jills at all.. Amazing food, ultra-friendly and attentive staff, lovely atmosphere and a superb range of drinks. Have attended the venue with both big and small groups and they are always super accommodating and ensure a fantastic experience. Do yourself a favour and check it out.

Jack and Jill is a really great place for food and drinks. The space has a modern and relaxed ambiance, although it was a bit quiet on a Tuesday night for dinner (which we did enjoy 😜). The service was fantastic and the food was amazing. Excellent wine selection. Will return with a bigger ground to try out more things next time 🙂. . Fried pickles with truffle mayo: you can't go wrong with fried pickles. And that truffle mayo added an excellent layer of flavour. . Crispy chicken skin: omg!!! This was soooooo good 😍😍😍. . Slow cooked pork belly: tender meat with crunchy crackling. The burnt miso apple puree was so yummy! And the added lychee and kimchi worked really well together with the pork. . Roasted cauliflower salad: who knew a salad could be so delicious?! Loved the cauliflower! . Middle eastern spiced lamb shoulder with pearl cous cous, pickled fennel, tahini yoghurt: wow wow WOW the lamb was soooooo delicious! The meat was so tender that it literally falls apart when you try to pick it up. One of my favourite lamb dishes in Adelaide!

Had an amazing dinner here on a quiet Monday night after work. Everything on the menu looked exceptional, which made it very difficult to choose. The restaurant felt cosy and modern and staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The 24hr lamb shoulder and twice cooked potatoes were a big highlight and definitely recommend trying the sweet potato doughnuts if you have room left. Will need to return so I can try more of the menu. Highly recommend dining here!

Great and I mean delicious food. Awesome vibe. Will be back on a night when the basement bar is open. Had the barramundi in Sri Lankan sauce...YUM! It is a little noisey but I honestly didn't mind.

We organised a work conference there and it was amazing. Jack did an unbelievable job of making our time there really productive. Facilities and service was second to none. What a beautiful gem! A fine dining experience without the price tag. Effusive and professional staff, full of personality. Excellent menu items (compliments to Chef and his team!). We had the gin cured trout with pickled salad, the crispy pork belly and the zucchini noodle side salad. They made me a special cocktail as they didn't have all the ingredients and it was delicious. Beautiful decor, ambiance and music choices at a comfortable listening/talking level. Praises all around to Jack & Jills!!

Food and service lovely. The place is quite loud so not somewhere if you want a quiet romantic evening. We visited on a Saturday night so you could also here (and feel) the music from the attached bar/nightclub, I think I would prefer to visit for lunch.

Very friendly and a great menu and a great space to be in either out front open to the street or behind the dividing wall for a bit of privacy. Food is excellent. Also as of Feb 22 they now have happy hour of selected drinks for $7 between 5-6pm M-F 😃

Attended a Christening celebration at this Restaurant last Sunday and the dining experience was amazing. Try the Feed Me Menu - fantastic.. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returnig with friends. Service by staff - excellent also.

Sat 12 sept 20 - Attended a wonderful birthday celebration (65px) private function - very modern & comfortable - staff who went out of their way to be friendly & professional. Loved every moment of my experience here (besides dealing with my screaming offspring). The service was outstanding. They never made me feel unwelcome, or unwanted despite said screaming child, who insisted on putting her filthy hands on their nice clean windows and disturbing their other dinner guests. The food was absolutely delightful. The drinks were lovely. The chef came out and chatted to us, and it all made for an incredible evening. Couldn't have picked a better place to spend my birthday. Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful ambience - right down to the perfect lighting...as soon as I can offload my child I will be heading back there.

Great dining experience, service was cheerful and accurate. Our dinner party left satisfied and happy. We chose the Sri Lankan barramundi with rice and lamb shoulder slow cooked for 36 hours, and both turned out well. For starters we ordered the prawn tempura dish, which was quite good as well. Portions were well laid out. For dessert we shared the sweet potato doughnuts with sour cream ice cream, which was interesting, although we were too full from the main course to truly appreciate the dish. Overall, satisfying experience and would recommend for a good night out.
