Stopped in for a feed, did not disappoint. The crispy Panini roll was scrumptious, complete with Udder Delights brie! My son enjoyed the wholemeal ricotta pancakes and also had a perfectly cooked bacon sandwich. It was great to see organic drinks, Australian made. The atmosphere is relaxed, the decor suitably "thrown together/recycled shabby chic" with some artwork on the walls for sale. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Had a coffee and scones with jam and cream. They were both delicious and reasonably priced, although scones were slightly small and the cream must have been refrigerated as it was pretty stiff. It was nice, just difficult to spread. Overall it was great though!

What an amazing soup of the day in a chilling day 🍁🍂 My friends and I came on a cold day of autumn and did not expect the rain. We fortunately found this lovely little but warm cafe with delicious food and beverage. My soup of the day with a slice of sourdough was especially yummy! This fabulous cafe will be on my list for my next visit!

It was a cold and windy afternoon, the place has a nice and warm feeling inside. Very friendly staff at the counter. Kids meals are the best we’ve seen so far, with very reasonable price. My boy also wanted iced chocolate from the menu, the staff immediately offered to do in kid’s size. Food was tasty and freshly made. Definitely recommend it!

Love this place! Set against the busy main road of Handorf, this little cafe has some solid lunch options. I definitely enjoyed the one I had with my family. The food we got was hearty, healthy and with big servings. The flat white is on the milky side but was perfect as a pallet cleanser after that bowl of soup that had strong solid flavours.

Great ambience, music was subtle and jazzy, comfortable seating with a rustic feel. Order at the counter, friendly service and efficient. We had the scones and they were light and fluffy, followed by spiced pear meusli and mushrooms burschetta. Delicious. Muesli could have been layered to make it easier to eat. All in all highly recommended.

This place is a MUST!!! Best meal out I have had in ages. We had the lamb and feta burger and the Thai chicken sandwich... DELICIOUS! Followed by a scrumptious bread and butter pudding with coconut and caramel sauce. Yum! Staff super friendly.

We ordered 3 meals and all three tasted phenomenal. Highly recommend the salami sandwich and the pancakes with grilled bananas. So yummy. Also the atmosphere is very cozy and they have a cute little fire place and hand knitted blankets to keep you comfortable.

Nice decor and friendly staff at this main street cafe. There is a list of hot Chocolates to die for, and nice desserts for with a coffee. Menu looks extensive, the only for note was that we found out on ordering that the all day breakfast and lunch menu stops at after 3:30pm

Kitchen 2C is tucked away on the Main Street Hahndorf. I stopped by for lunch, found the menu was varied and interesting. The Cafe has been well organised, with a Cottage theme. Even though lunch time is busy, the service was good, with out a long delay. Enjoyed the coffee, smooth and well made.

We ordered rwo panini rolls from menu board and juices. I told the waitress that I had two wisdom teeth taken out recently and could still not chew crusty bread so she offered to replace with a soft roll. After half an hour I enquired how much longer it would be & was told had just gone into the oven for toasting. I said I wasn't told it was to be toasted and as I had asked to replace with a soft roll due to the dental surgery so asked to remove mine from oven. It came out toasted so had to disassemble the roll and not eat it which meant food was wasted although the positive was the juices were absolutely delicious. So a 3 star for us.

Wow, what a unique little place. I had a Coconut Matcha hot Drink and the Ricotta Pancakes with Banana for Breakfast and it was so delicious. My friend had a Latte and the Smashed Avocado. Delicious tasteful authentic food in a warm and lovely venue. It feels like you’ve been invited home by the locals during a hike through the Alps. The bacon and lentil dahl were divine. Choc cookie and scone were exquisite. Will definitely come back!

I've finally discovered the perfect serve of Devonshire scones! A couple of home-made scones served with Beerenberg strawberry jam and fresh, thick dollop cream AND enough of both to generously cover each portion of scone! Absolutely delicious!! Perhaps start your meal with these and then chose something savoury from their equally scrumptious menu!! Staff are friendly. Rustic decor. Homely, casual atmosphere. Unfortunately not very comfortable during hot weather, maybe air conditioning needs attention. Outside seating is an option.

(Since been back for lunch and can confirm the menu is as great as it sounds. Salmon don bowl is delicious, ploughman's lunch for two is a generous serve). No bathroom. Minimal wheelchair access.

The ambience of this place is great! Just love the wood paneled walls, made from apple bins, and the cosy atmosphere. Reminds us of some of the cafés we used to frequent in Hobart 20 years ago. That vibe is hard to replicate but 2C has done it! The food is good quality home made style - yummy breakfasts, wholesome soups (for lunch), delicious bread. Great coffee and down to earth, friendly staff. You know you are on to a great place if the local shopkeepers frequent it. Highly recommend.

Beautiful food and ambiance. Away from the main pubs which made it a great spot for a nice quiet lunch. Kitchen 2c offers a modern style cuisine. The restaurant has a earthy vibe with woody furniture and walls painted in blackboard paint with cool chalk art. I recommend trying the Thai Styled Grilled Chicken and my partner had the Potato Caramelised Onion Frittata which was also yummy.
