A rather pleasant little restaurant (not actually all that little!) Ideal for a full meal or just a snack, which is what I came here for this time. The mini bánh mì is pretty good, not only because it’s snack size, but also because they toast the bun so it’s warm and crisp outside - and they don’t overload the content so you get lost in all the fillings – its’ simplicity is perhaps it’s best feature. Also in my photo is a small serve of fried wontons, which as always, are done just right. The snacks are nicely complemented with a home-made Vietnamese lemonade.

Finally tried the famous Little NNQ with a bunch of friends. The food was top notch and of course the tamarind fried snapper was the WINNER! The place was clean including the restrooms and staff were welcoming as we entered but then they sort of got agitated due to number of dishes we ordered at multiple time. But that is not an excuse to compromise on customer service. However when the food arrived we were all happy! Making a reservation is highly recommended specially on weekends!

When it comes to a good dinning, with friends or even with your crush on the first time ever dating, this lovely small place will satisfy almost all of your senses with their lovely spaces, staffs and their yummy'ness' Asian cuisine, especially VietNamese cuisine. I would rekon some signature dishes here: all of the soup based dishes, some family pack with steamed rice and fresh prawns in the tasty fresh cold rolls! love it!

best Bún Bò Huế in town xx great selection of signature cocktails, my faves are Archibald’s Stress Reliever and the Obedient Nikki if you are up for some adventure, try their Pho-coction - which is a cocktail with Pho Broth flavour (not at all beef or chicken flavoured - only spices and herbs so vegan & vegetarian friendly) my vegetarian friends said their salt&pepper eggplants, tofu with tomato sugo and vegetarian spring rolls are also exceptional

Little NNQ really is something to boast about for its food. We chose 4 dishes (2 mains, 2 entrees) and we were impressed with everything we got. We had no trouble with finding options which were gluten-free on the menu. There were so many options we had trouble choosing just from the gluten-free selection. We went in the height of summer and found sitting indoors to be pleasantly cool with huge ceiling fans (if you get cold easily as I do, I recommend bringing a jacket because the fans create a real draft). My only downside was the attitude from some, but not all, of the staff. Some of the waiters were delightful and attentive, whilst another guy would put our food down and continue walking off without saying what the dish was or (in my case) waiting till I could order some rice to go with my mains. No a huge issue, but annoying when the waiters are right in front of you and pretend like you don't exist.

Fantastic service, super friendly staff. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty. Highlights were the duck salad and the stir-fry prawns. We shared a number of dishes between the 4 of us which was a great way to sample all the different flavours. I'd go back again without a doubt!

Really great service, food came out so fast- I think like under 10 mins! I had the salt and pepper mushroom and it tasted just like salt and pepper squid I was told. Only negative was there was only about 4 vegan choices, from what I’ve tasted of them they have all been delicious and we could have a few more! By far one of my favourite Vietnamese places!! I’ve been ordering Uber eats from here for ages and finally went in and the service was amazing, the staff were so friendly, and the restaurant is so cute! And they have so many gluten free options which is good for my family of celiacs 😂

NNQ. What can I say. Exceeded my expectations. First things first, they dont accept Amex. But contrary to belief, if you ask nicely, they will split the bill in half. But the food and service are really great and remarkable. We chose the medium banquet. It featured a sweet and sour snapper, soft shell crab, chicken, pork belly, stirfry beef and braised duck dishes. All incredibly tasty arrived with plain rice. The service was friendly and quick. I recommend for groups of four or five to sit outside if you want to talk as the beats are quite well suited to people who like to shout above the music.

The food was excellent, the service was... a little rough. Ordering was more difficult than necessary - it seemed like the staff weren't familiar with their menu. Most people at our table of ten had their orders mixed up in some way. If two people ordered the same entree they were brought out on the same plate, not a big issue but this wasn't explained and caused a bit of confusion (particularly for a group that size) One of our party was brought the wrong meal twice before they got it right. We had so many little things go wrong that we had to laugh about it. We enjoyed the food and I hope they bring their service up to speed.

Always had positive experience with my lunch/dinners here, quite attentive and kind service and great authentic Vietnamese food. Price is appropriate, although not cheap, it accounts for the good service and the quality of food. It is advisable for new visitors to try out as much variety as possible, we always order a variety of entree dishes to try out (mini banh mi, mini pho, crispy quail, small fried rice etc) and it never disappointed us. Recommended.

Presentation of food is above average Vietnamese restaurants. However, taste is just ok. Do not expect balanced flavour or complexity in their dishes. Their emphasis of "fishy" southeast Asia taste can at times go too far and too strong. Considering the quality norm in Adelaide, I would give it a 3.5, rounded to 4.

The downside was the food itself - it lacked the fresh flavours you'd expect from Vietnamese food, and in particular what you get at Little NBQ's 'big brother' NNQ on Woodville Road. My tip would be to go for lunch and get the spring roll bun bowl, rather than a dinner.
