Excellent dining experience here. Foods are so yummy, seafood platter so fresh. Hi I love the Beef Wellington and traditional garlic bread. Atmosphere and service was perfect too.

We had high tea for Mum's birthday here and we couldn't fault it. The service was wonderful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. It was really good value for money, too, especially considering others we've tried. The staff even gave Mum an extra sweet with a happy birthday message which was a nice thoughtful touch, she was delighted. Will definitely be back.

Generally speaking it’s worth 5 stars for me actually. The following is why loosing one star. Firstly, the manager asking us about what drinks we need. He said juice wine and water, we said water and just table water, then he shows very impatient and rude “ just water? No other drinks? U sure? No wine?” Secondly the chips here should be crispy because of triple fried but it’s over cooked and still soft inside. Thirdly the bread surface should be crispy but it’s full of oil and pretty soft. Fourthly the forks is not clean enough it’s a little bit sticky, and the plate is not clean, waiter wipe it again by hand, and still fingerprint on it after serving. At last the dish here is no doubt super delicious, beef Wellington is unbelievable good especially the mushroom sauce under the crispy skin. The win sauce is just make beef’s taste explode in your mouth, they cooked so well in beef and seafood. The scallops and shrimps are super fresh and taste like waking in the spring, some ginger juice makes scallops more refreshing. Anyway guys , come and try I promise the restaurant will be in the top 5 restaurant in my heart around the world. Hope u visit here soon.

The food here was so yummy. We had attended a wedding reception here and they catered for the dinner meals. The food was good, service was professional and polite. Then we had breakfast the day after, it was a buffet the food here was also very delishes, there was a good variety of savory and sweats as well as tea, coffee, juices and healthy choices.

The service was really quite good although sometimes a bit slow for the number of guests they had on our Thursday evening visit. However, the prices did not reflect good value given the portion sizes and quality of ingredients. The wine list prices were probably also slightly higher than average when comparing to other high end hotel based restaurants in Adelaide.

We had a fantastic night! We had never heard of this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised about it. The highlights: - Definitely the food! Our waiter suggested the King Fish tail and it was superb! - The service: We would like to thank our main waiter Frank, he was knowledgeable and friendly. He made our special evening quite pleasant and he surprised us with a 'happy anniversary' treat. The second waiter was also friendly and polite (sorry we didn't get his name). - Decoration and music were lovely. Overall, the whole experience was great and we would definitely come back.

Went for High tea and found wanting. Everything arrived at the table at once -it was as if you were to eat quick and run. It is in the basement nice decor but rather dim. Had been previously to stanford grand way more stylish and a bit of a special event food much nicer as well

We had such an amazing dining experience. Not only was the food divine (definitely try the Duck and Wellington dishes!) but all of the staff we engaged with were phenomenal. From the lady who seated us at the Honeymoon table, to our server who sang me happy birthday...and the bar staff who were SO much fun that we decided to stay at the bar in the restaurant for the rest of the night instead of heading up to the roof. I have extremely high expectations, particularly when it comes to fine dining - but The Mayflower absolutely smashed the ball out of the park. Not a single fault! Thank you so much for what was quite possibly the most memorable birthday I've had in a very, very long time. We can't wait to return!

This is simply the best restaurant experience we've had for a very long time. The service was fabulous, the food was unbelievable and the decor and atmosphere was all class. It was no more expensive than anywhere else. I'm sounding like I work there or have a vested interest but I am just a very happy customer.

Had such a wonderful time with my girlfriends for my bridal shower over the weekend at Mayflower. We had a beautiful high tea (yummiest mix of sweet and savoury pastries, desserts with your gorgeous 3-tiered stands and teapots) along with a flower crown workshop hosted by Van, the awesome wedding florist from The Little Market Posie. The entire team at Mayflower were absolutely amazing - special thanks and shout out to the lovely Suzanna who was so incredibly warm and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed and Jaan, who took the time to address all my queries and concerns when we had initially enquired about organising a flower crown workshop together whilst having high tea. Thank you for allocating that section close to the bar; I wasn't sure how it would all turn out at first, but it definitely worked out so well and I'm so glad, everyone had a wonderful time indeed! :) The jazzy piano music in the background added to the atmosphere and it was all just perfect :) We thank you all for taking the extra mile to make sure we were all comfortable, enjoying ourselves and even inviting us to the roof top bar - it was certainly quite a view! We thank you all as well for being so patient with us (as we did take a while to finish doing up the crowns) and allowing us to stay on a little bit even past 4pm when the high tea session had ended. Will definitely be back without a doubt! X

I took an interstate guest to this very full restaurant on a Monday evening. All the right things happened; beautiful surrounding, great staff, amazing food and it made us want the Dead Arm Shiraz at $130 a bottle! All worth it, fantastic night. I'll be back.
