Nicely decorated with chilled vibes and music. Good place for hangs. The miso eggplant was alright, it had textures from the grains which went well with it. Scallops were refreshing and tangy, but bit small. Bugolgi has nice flavours with lots of sliced veges. Noodles were also alright. Crispy pork belly was done well, crispy skin was spot on. Wished there were more of it. Korean fried chicken was really good, tasty, crispy. Overall food was good. Just small portions for the price.. Its like a more fine dining Korean Eatery..

Today I treated myself to lunch at Mimi’s - an adorable Korean restaurant on Sturt St in the city. I have eaten here many times before and thought it was high time I left a review, as I am always raving about how good the food is! I was in the mood for sliders today (OMG the one’s here are my weakness) and saw they had a $15 Lunch Special with Korean Fried Chicken Sliders with Cabbage and Kimchi Slaw - I HAD to have them. I ordered and before I knew it, they appeared. The presentation was so cute - two mini burgers sitting side by side, accompanied by a little basket of fries, all sitting atop red and white checkered paper - cute AF. I loved how the sliders were secured together with a little bamboo skewer that had a caperberry sitting atop the little brioche bun, adding a delicious pop of salty tartness to cut through the richness of the burger - so clever. I removed my skewer and picked up one of the sliders in both hands - God it looked good! Crispy chicken pieces peeked out at me, with finely shredded carrot and cabbage spilling over the golden fried meat. I took a bite... Wow, it was better than I expected. The softness of the brioche bun, married perfectly with the crispiness of the fried chicken pieces and oh my word, what a satisfying crunch each time I bit into the slider. That delicious, perfectly seasoned chicken contrasting with the creamy kimchi slaw, such a flavour explosion and yet so deceptively simple. I closed my eyes and chewed slowly, savouring the full flavour experience. What a hidden gem - this restaurant consistently produces amazingly tasty food that always hits the nail on the head. I have always loved everything I’ve eaten here, especially the fact that the food is Korean but always, with a cool and funky, modern twist. A must visit.

OMG this place was the bomb. Amazing friendly service and the food was to die for. The scallops - can't tell you how good they were - full glasses of sparkling right to the brim - kfc chicken with 3 sauces, crispy pork & perfectly cooked rice. The little pickled salads òn the side were scrummy too. Those little touches make you feel that your custom is valued. Love, love, love this place. Cute 'n quaint with amazing food. 😍

Good environment and great service. Tasty in terms of every dish we ordered, especially the beef (I forgot the name) in picture 1 which is soft and juicy. A Korean friend said this beef dish is the traditional Korean flavour while other dishes are more of a fusion.

The food here is really great. Flavour and their own twist on traditional Thai meals is really unique and needs to be tried out. Good atmosphere, plenty of space and very clean. Staff are super friendly and very attentive. Thai Tea dessert is well worth trying. Good value overall.

Amazing food with such a modern and unique twist between Korean and Thai. The staff were lovely and very accommodating to a table of vegans, vegetarian and meat lovers. We recommend the tasting menu for $49 there is a generous amount of food and you get a bit of all the best bits. The atmosphere was modern but cosy good for large and small groups. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Ehhh… it’s average. There’s something I can’t seem to put my finger on, an unfilled void, just… something is missing. I don’t know if the service isn’t outstanding, or the food was just above good at best, or it’s missing that wow factor, I don’t know… but anyways on to the criticism. The vegan chicken was overpriced, I mean $32, really? The quantity is disproportionate to its price. Guys, if you are looking for vegan chicken, go to K-Pub or Ban Ban instead. The other stuff I ordered also came in small quantities for an overly inflated price. This is subjective but the bar stool got uncomfortable after a mid period of time. I’ve sat on plenty for well over 30 mins but this one gets to me, I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♂️.

I dined here for the first time tonight since MiMi switched from Thai to Korean and I was SUPER impressed! Every dish was so delicious. We tried the KFC sliders, DIY wraps, kimchi pancake, pork patties, pork stew and the milk tea panacotta for dessert. Everything was bursting with flavour and had delicious textures. The mocktail I ordered was so refreshing and the wine list is predominantly SA. The staff were lovely and attentive and the atmosphere was so nice and relaxing with their funky new lighting. Plus82 Mimi has a cozy and intimate atmosphere with delightfully hospitable staff and management. Even when close to full there was only a very short wait for attention at any time and only a glance was needed. The food is mainly traditional Korean but also features some modern twiata with a choice of small, medium and large plates, all suitable for sharing. The Korean Fried Chicken sliders were delicious as were the other dishes. The Plus82 fries are always a hit and go well with soju and beer. It wa a great night.
