Well I couldn't praise this place highly enough. Dave and his wife are wonderful hosts and the meals, well truly delicious and certainly value for money. They also have a Gluten free option. The view on the deck looking out to the water is lovely. A perfect place to sit back, have a drink and a great feed.

Great little spot on the River front. We all had eggs benedict which took a while to come out but they were cooked perfectly! Coffee was also good with no complaints from any of the group I was with. Will definitely return

Booked ourselves a table for a mother's Day lunch. We found ourselves on a table outside under the sails in the lovely weather with a wonderful live musician playing outside behind us. I had a chicken burger that was so yummy and the rest of the food for the table looked just as good. The staff were very friendly and happy and the sticky date pudding made in house was to delicious.

This is the only restaurant in this town, so people don't have choices. We don't have many choices on the menu either. On weekend, you have to wait for a long time for food served. But, the staffs are nice.

Sails is once again one of my favourite places. With new owners, it has returned to a friendly place for coffee & great food. I enjoyed a delicious seafood basket with my partner the other day. So glad we shared it, there was no way I could have eaten it all on my own, although I would have given it a decent shot. Way too yummy to leave any. Had to move tables because it was sticky, the next table also had dried spillage on it. Did notice when tables got cleared that some staff weren't wiping the tables as a practice. Decor a little tired, where we were outside. Food good, atmosphere good (Boonsy was playing live and was enjoyable) happy to pay a bit extra for the live music.

When we nip out of our motel (Milang Lakes Motel) for a few minutes respite we often head for Sails at Clayton Bay. A great place for coffee or a meal. Enjoy a glass of wine on the deck, overlooking the Bay. Unmissable. A year later we were back with a film director scouting locations. The man and his protege were bowled over by Sails. We (& they) will be back soon.
