Tucked away at the corner of Rundle St with indoor and outdoor seating. Yummy crunchy Churros with various chocolate dip options. The hazelnut dip was quite solid.. More like a spread than a dip. St Churros chocolate caramel cake is very rich. And the caramel is very sweet. Definitely got a sugar high from it. Mousse layer was nice though. Brownie was bit fudgey but the chocolate taste wasn't as strong. Cheesecake was quite gelatine, doesn't seem like a baked cheesecake.

Super fast service today. I ordered and my take away was ready in 2 minutes. This was at peak time on Saturday night so I am very impressed. Churros were fresh and crunchy as always and the white chocolate serving was yum. Staff was friendly and store was clean. If you are dining in, it can get busy over weekends so may have to wait for a table. I forgot to scan my loyalty card so I hope staff can start asking customers for loyalty card at checkout.

A must go place. Been here sevel times and always enjoy nice sitting. Sometimes it can be pretty sweet but, hey why not! One of the best hot chocolate I have I tried is here and that's the trigger most of the time to visit this place so hopefully you guys have the same experience with their hot chocolate.

Out of the sweets stores I've been to, this felt a lot more sophisticated then kiddy, however there are still some great choices for children. It wasn't too sweet, and the meals were just big enough to fill me up :) If you're looking to treat yourself, this is the go-to place :D

I have been to this San Churro location many times and overall I haven't had a bad experience. Staff always give great service and are friendly (some a bit more than others) and there is so much variety of desserts and gifts, and now they even added savory food which is a bonus. Based on my last particular visit, I ordered the items pictured below as well as the new Spanish patatas (forgot to take a pic) and enjoyed everything. Although the drinks arrived later than the food, an apology was given for the wait time.

Super busy place on a Saturday night but the chocolate is really good! If you’re after churros it’s probably better if you go with a group and share all the dips and sides! EDIT 24/8/19 - Reply: Hi Brett, thanks for your reply and offer but I didn’t write this review with any intention to receive anything back from you guys (perhaps you can pay it forward/donate those churros to someone in need instead?). I think the only thing on the day was when we arrived we didn’t know if we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated (staff members waitering didn’t make eye contact and if they did they were just too focused on their own tasks then to greet us and answer questions). If there was a sign detailing that someone would seat us or ‘please seat yourselves’ we certainly missed it.

A great place for some casual hot chocolate or deserts. Reasonably priced for what you get, and a nice range of deserts and chocolates so most people would probably be able to find something to enjoy. A great place for a fun gathering, but not so much for intimate or individual sittings. I've been here a few times with family, and it's a fantastic venue to sit around with a shared platter of churos and dips and to chat and enjoy. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and are happy to make adjustments to menu items where possible.

Do yourself a favour and get the cookie dough dip for your churros. It is awesome and would highly recommend. Their raspberry macarons paired with a hot long black is like a blessing for your mouth. And I am not ashamed to admit that I am an avid buyer of their chocolate cheesecake. And if you are looking for a severely refreshing drink, try their mango shake. Perfect for the summer. Got no pics though because I was busy helping myself with the food and drinks 😄

Honestly they do make amazing special release desserts so always look out for them. Had a satisfying hot chocolate today. Go for their Spanish hot chocolate for something different, too thick to really drink but not thick enough to be a hot chocolate dessert. It’s interesting. Best recommendation is the share plate fruit and churros. You may need an extra chocolate dip to ward off fights, but it’s a nice balance of fruit and churros without being ridiculously heavy.

I have been here multiple times & it always surprises me with its dessert quality & options. If you are a chocolate fan, you must try their Spanish hot chocolate collection. It is heavenly especially on a chilly winter evening. Another must-try item is their "death by chocolate" monstrous melting cake. I've had the most amazing experiences in San Churros. The whole cafe is so cozy and is the perfect hangout spot for me and my friends. San Churro style and feel; due to covid, seating was limited to about 10 tables (a little tight on a Wed night). Service in 10 minutes after order and was their great quality chocolate (better than Nutella I reckon). Cost range $10-20 per person for a drink and small snack. Edit: Since returned and have been impressed by their service time on a busy Saturday afternoon - maybe waited 2 minutes for steamy hot Churros and coffee. I recommend!

Not my cup of 'tea'. The chocolate drink was large, and very sweet, the coffee just ok. Churros were hard and reliant on the oil and sugar to carry them. I've never had the real thing so nothing to compare them to. I'd take a fresh cinnamon doughnut over the San churros type any day of the week. Struggled to understand why this joint doesn't focus just coffee and churros and doing it well. The menu was overly complex. When we queued for food + drinks (while examining the menu) and struggled to find a clean seat, I had flash backs to visits to Starbucks when desperate for a coffee after normal Cafe hours. The one nice thing about this spot is the outdoor seating along East Terrace. Great for people and dog spotting on a warmer day

Was needing a coffee/chocolate fix after dinner. And San Churro certainly doesn't disappoint. This outlet, at the corner of Rundle Street has ample seating and the ambience was great. The waft of chocolate makes you want more than you probably should. Crowd is decent, not too hectic.

Not as large seating plan as the other San Churro locations but consistently good service. Again I find the tables and menus always seem to feel sticky. Atmosphere is good, but as it’s location is situated you are always in view of foot traffic to the shoppers and diners - not a cosy quiet spot to enjoy your churros and coffee. The presentation when the desserts arrive always look good.

This place has better ice cream than all of their competitors that are known for ice cream. I particularly recommend the golden chocolate and salted caramel. Ruby chocolate is fun too. When it's cold outside I get a Mexican/Aztec/whatever-they-call-it-now hot chocolate in a small. It's so rich a small will be plenty. I like spicy foods and Mexican candy- they have just the right amount of chile in here-enough spice to make your back straighten but not so much you forget you're drinking molten chocolate. Free espresso drinks on Wednesday is wonderful. Oh, and the churros are pretty great too.

It's always crowded here, not really a cozy place to sit and talk if you are looking for quiet place. Smaller space compare to the one in Marion, while actually this one is located in the heart of the city make it always a busy place. And oh btw, the toilet is outside, near the parking lot.
