I organised to take a couple of friends out for a surprise lunch and the team were super accomodating including allowing me to pre-organise and pay for drinks on arrival. Stem is such a cool space, like something out of Soho. The food was sensational - we cleaned every entree and main plate right off; however, next time we would skip the desserts. Overall, awesome Saturday eating and boozing the day away.

Truly a lovely restaurant. The menu is yummy, the staff are knowledgable and charming whilst also never being smarmy. The food was delicious. I particularly loved thr broccoli dish. Also the cabbage larget plate was excellent. The menu has loads of vegetarian and vegan options as well and meat and fish. The wine cellar is fun and varied too.

Beautiful evening at STEM. Food was delicious with every meal beautifully crafted. Great wine selection to choose from and tasty cocktails. Great customer service, I cant remember the servers name but she was just brilliant. Welcoming from the start and easy to converse with. She was helpful with all questions and movements needed throughout the night. Pricey but definitely worth it! Highly recommend.

We ordered 5 dishes here, and everything was DELICIOUS!!! Very rarely do I write a review where I cannot fault q single thing. The food was great! And decent sized meals too The service was fantastic.. There was a great wine selection.. The cocktails were yummy!! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options too :) This place is a must try!!

The atmosphere is great. However, the price is a bit high for such service and food. Baked potato was served 5 min after the steak. So, it got a bit cold. The steak itself was salted already... to my taste a bit too much. Anyway, if you are after great atmosphere and experience, this is a good place. Food can be better (or may be steak/potato is not good combination here).

Great delicious food, plenty flavour. Recent reviews tarnished their credibility I think. Just a bit pricey to go back in a hurry. Got some great ideas from them that I have cooked at home like all good restaurants. Broccoli is the best.

Stem is my go-to reliably great restaurant, everyone will find something they will enjoy on the menu. All my favourite dishes have been taken off the menu but I expect the new options will be as fantastic as always. Seriously great atmosphere, ensure you book ahead, perfect for a date. Never had a bad experience here. Big ups!

Only managed to sneak in a pic of our entrees because the food was so delicious we dug straight in for main and dessert. Staff were very attentive, atmosphere was great! Will certainly be back for pizzas.

Finally made it to Stem! What an amazing night with great food and service. The kingfish had an amazingly refreshing taste. The broccoli hummus was sooooo good! Then we got the Osso bucco gnocchi, which was just incredible. The best dish was probably the pork shoulder. What an explosion of flavours in my mouth! The dessert was the honey nut tart with olive oil ice cream - so good! Overall what a great experience 😍😍.

Couldn't recommend this place more. It's a hidden gem in Adelaide with the best food and service. We had dinner her with a group of girlfriends and couldn't rate the food enough, everything was made fresh from the bread to the pizzas. Our hostess also paired us with the perfect bottle of wine. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed the food, but service wasn’t so great. Tried to get attention from staff to order food/drinks multiple times however unsuccessful: Thought maybe they would’ve been understaffed that night, so gave them the benefit of the doubt. However when staff finally came to take our order, we asked if we could try a couple wines to figure out which we wanted out of the two, we were given the response of “You can try later can you order the food first?”, which was fine but we wanted to be able to have a drink first. Staff kept insisting we order food first. While eating we had a few pieces of food on the dish left which we were still going at, staff constantly came around asking if we were finished so they could take the plate away. Same goes with our bottle of wine we still had a bit left but staff came asking if we could finish the wine. Even though we weren’t rushed to leave, overall experience felt rushed during dinner service.

Seemingly off the beaten path, this cozy little place has become an instant favourite. Great selection of food with interesting combinations. Desserts we're delicious. Chocolate panna cotta was a favourite. Love the decor of this place, and the service. Great coffee to top it all off.

Great accidental find this afternoon. The atmosphere is calm and classy without being stuffy, food was not far short of perfect - beautiful flavours created with a subtle hand. Mushroom crostini and the chocolate panna cotta were there standouts but nothing disappointed. Service was unobtrusive but excellent. We got recommendations when we asked, and left to our own conversations when we didn't. All in all we couldn't fault it and look forward to coming back.

This is a unique and exceptional hospitality experience. The venue itself is stunning and very well designed. Depending on your mood you can sit down to an intimate (and bloody delicious) dinner in one area or knock back a few wines and/or cocktails in another, with neither group disturbing the other. The wine selection is excellent and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I can't praise this place enough, I love coming here and it has been a welcome addition to the West End.

Enjoyed a wonderful night at Stem on Saturday, with a group of 8 the shared menu option was perfect and very generous. Gnocchi and the oysters were a highlight of the meal for me and the wine selection is extensive and interesting (a little dangerous!!) Service was excellent and the staff were warm and attentive from start to finish. We are already planning our next visit, can't wait.

Food was great but the servings were a bit small and over priced. However what made up for this was the great drinks and customer service. Specifically Robert. He was a great waiter and provided overwhelming service and even went out of his way to please and serve the customers. Just because of that I have to give him and the restaurant 5 stars.

Our first experience at Stem and it was so very lovely. The service was impeccable. From the moment you walk through the door the greeting is warm and personable. Great food and lovely atmosphere. Portion sizes aren't huge but the quality more than makes up for it. I had the gnocchi with osso bucco and each bite was like eating a potato marshmallow. I'll definitely be back again.

Really enjoyed dinner recently. Food was delicious with some different food pairings but they also worked. They have booths at the front of the restaurant for something a bit cosier and even have a dedicated wine room. Staff were very helpful and friendly too. I'd highly recommend Stem to anyone. I know I'll be going back.

Love, love, love this place! Excellent selection of wines, including local and imported drops. The staff are a stand out, the service we received was impeccable and they have a great knowledge of their wines and the food on the menu, everyone was friendly, nothing was an issue and it was evident that they are happy to be working at such a great venue. The food is delicious and atmosphere funky, I give Stem the thumbs up!

Had dinner with friends on Stem's opening night. Staff were extremely friendly and inviting, and even though it was their first dinner service, seemed to be on top of things quite well. The food was delicious and even though the place was fully booked it came out in a timely fashion. Recommend giving any of the Pizzas a try - very tasty and the pizza chef's own special recipe so we were told. All of the smaller share plates were amazing too - Broccoli hummus... who would have thought. This place will go well.

If you've visited Italy and know what its like to eat beautifully hand made thin pizza base where each flavour stands out you need to visit stem. Not only is the menu amazing but beautiful funky atmosphere,friendly staff and great background music. I really love this restaurant / wine bar. The decor is excellent with comfortable seating both inside and out. The staff are exceptional!! The food is excellent and the choices of wines is extensive. Stem is a big tick for me!

Excellent service all around the gluten free options were plentiful . We had the mullet and lamb dish .The mullet and fennel were the perfect balance with the fennel not over powering the dish but exactly the right flavours .The lamb and polenta were equally as delicious and perfectly cooked . The Sommier suggestion on the wine was perfect to our palate and matched very well to our foods .

This new restaurant bar is in the UniSA precinct of Hindley St and is really worth seeking out - it looms as the go-to place in Adelaide. The ambience is very New York (think Otto, Babbo) or LA ( think Bestia with its booths) with subdued lighting and music but not obtrusive - mainly booths and conversation was easy over the music. Must be as a result of some serious audio/ lighting planning. We had pizza only this night but look forward to getting in to the menu in the future. It really had a great vibe. Had a peek in the wine room on the way out - this place is the real deal!

Nice restaurant, and love the interior, especially when you go through the door and see all the plants. I visited today as part of the dine n’ wine and I would love to come back and try their menu. Their Kingfish Crudo was delicious! Service was good but could have been better if they explained what we were having and make it a full experience. I was disappointed no-one told me that the placemat was the menu as I’d love to try something else :) I will definitely come back!
