Quick prompt customer service, bustling atmosphere and busy but even busier during the dinner time rush. We arrived a bit before then and the food came out fast. The photos are bacon boyz burger, duck's potato bake and Lamborghini pizza. This was all shared between 2 people and was plenty, we had to get a takeout container as there were leftovers. The burger was super delicious, all the great kind of greasy goodness and was eaten in minutes, the potato bake had sliced potatoes and cheese in it and was not too creamy. The taste of potatoes was balanced and the cheese was crispy on the edges of the bowl which was super yummy to eat. The Lamborghini pizza had smoked pulled lamb on it and by far was one of the best pulled lamb on a pizza by far. There was tzatziki sauce, roasted capsicum, onion, feta and baby spinach. Despite having many ingredients on the pizza it was very balanced and delicious in taste. You can order online through a QR code on the tables, anything that's on the menu can be placed in an online order form. So there was no need to get up and wait in a long line so that was great. Overall, I strongly recommend this place and will be coming back :)

Situated just across the road from Tea Tree Plaza with ample parking. Spacious restaurant but gets really busy. Popular spot. I can see why. Cheesey garlic bread is so good and garlicy, tasty... Chicken wings were very small in size but was marinated generously in bbq sauce, the aioli sauce went well with it. Two hands burger, might have needed three hands for it! Full on, loved it. Fried chicken was crispy but the meat was quite dry, might have overcooked it a tad bit. Swapped the fries for sweet potato fries. And they were really crispy and goes well with the aioli sauce. Great casual eats.

Very professional and caring customer service provided. We ordered three meals through the UberEats delivery service and unfortunately one meal was missing. After a phone call to a lovely man who was very apologetic the meal was replaced along with an additional item. Pickled Duck staff went above and beyond and would definitely recommend. The Harvest Salad with grilled chicken was delicious!

Six of us came for lunch. 4 pizzas, one salad and one pork ribs. All meals were excellent. $161 for the six meals. Pork was most expensive at $38 but meat fell off the bone Pizzas were excellent and you will need to ask for a pizza box to take home leftovers. A great place to eat and I will return

Had a birthday party breakfast here. Food was awesome and huge, especially their 'Big Breakfast'. Warm room even though it was cold outside. Cheery atmosphere. The only negative was they seemed to struggle with working out who ordered what and things were brought out in a seemingly random order. There was at least one meal that it seemed no-one ordered and several coffees too. As it all went on one bill I've got a feeling the host probably paid for some others food and drink.

Great food and friendly service with a wonderful atmosphere. Very filling meal. I ordered the 12 hour smoked scotch fillet steak today. A generous sized piece of perfectly smoked and cooked steak. With a delicious butter topping, cheesey fries, coleslaw and a wonderful house made sauce this was steak perfection on a plate. This place just keeps exceeding my expectations so it is a must visit for anyone in the North Eastern suburbs. I'll change my rating to give stars because of tonight's meal.

It isn't really my style of food, but if you enjoy American style burgers etc, I think you would enjoy it, it does have some vegan dishes but it is mostly meat based meals. They have some amazing looking shakes and desserts. It was quite popular with a mix of age groups. Worth visiting if you enjoy this type of food.

Great selection of food from burgers and wings which we had this time to pizza, salads and street food. Have eaten here many times and never had an issue. Great spot next to Tea Tree Plaza and Civic Park.

An absolutely amazing experience; the food and atmosphere are a much needed refreshing break from the monotonous and rushed experience offered at similar establishments. Everyone from the customers to the staff are incredibly friendly and happy to help in anyway they can. Infact, upon my second visit to The Pickled Duck I was presented with a sub par meal, but after a few quick exchanges to the chef and waiter about my disappointment with my burger I was quickly presented with another freshly cooked one at no extra cost and with minimal fuss. I highly recommend The Pickled Duck to anyone in the area or anyone looking for a refreshing take on the Cafe food style 😁😁

Yum! Great range of burgers, tacos and pizzas. Everything's very fresh and tasty. We had the Southern Fried Chicken and Cheeseburger, which are highly recommended. Waffle fries are delicious. Service is friendly and food arrived promptly. Plenty of seats, and they don't take bookings. We will be back!

If I'm honest the place is a little disappointing. The online menu is not up to date to start. The portion sizes are ok but it's not amazing food for what is charged. Proper barbecue it is not. The tables are clean and the outside area is nice enough. The chairs are really uncomfortable and the round tables are not big enough for 4 people. Overall it's a bit of a damp squib and a let down for what it could be

Nice relaxed atmosphere with a nice outdoor alfresco area out the front with easy access to a bar selling a good selection of boutique beers on tap as well as a selection of other alcoholic drinks. They are now open late on a Thursday to Saturday night until 11pm with a limited menu of a few share plates or 9 inch pizzas for $12 or burgers for $10. The food was pretty basic but the prices were pretty cheap so i wasnt expecting much more than what i received. Obviously they are trying to compete with the new restaurants that have just recently opened at tea tree plaza

The yoder smoker menu is pretty good. Friend had the Pork ribs which were quite dry and I had the Beef Brisket. It too was on the dry side but was much better. The dipping sauce was very nice. Cowboy beans, tater tots and cornbread are all very delicious and traditional "American". A biscuits and gravy would be a plus here to really bring that classic American diner menu experience. Recommend this place!

I do absolutely love this place and I've never had a bad food or service experience here. I went here tonight for the first time in a while and I'm disappointed that they've changed their loaded shakes.. They are no longer loaded and are definitely not worth $14. From having cookies, donuts and a ton of cream and sauce on top to having three small pieces of chocolate.. It's a bit ridiculous! I've attached the before and after loaded shakes...

Such an adorable pub. We came in at about 12pm Wednesday and it was nice and quite. An adorable location with nice outside seating. This place is located in a beautiful village on a white winery. The inside is that of a traditional British pub with beautiful furniture and decorations. The meals are fantastically presented and the quality was amazing.

No table service in a restaurant that is far from cheap, the food came out on a metal tray with paper under the the food so when you start cutting you get soggy paper in your mouth. Went in with my sister and the man greeting us at the door had a lot of attitude and was not polite at all. Please change your behaviour and be a little nicer. Otherwise the girl at the cashier taking our order was nice. The food was good. Other than the guy who greeted us (whom ruined our mood) the rest of the experience was ok.

When first arrived we were waiting on the rest of our group and after 5 minutes we were told that we had a time limit and should order soon, when over the phone while booking we were told we had 15 minutes to arrive. The food was nice, the schnitzel was well sized and cooked well, the kids meals were also very good. The service received was disapointing and made us unconfortable. Seasonings like pepper are used without customer knowledge so make sure you ask if seasonings are involved. (And when you inquire they are apprehensive). We Were rushed through our meal and felt like we were being pushed out the door. We were reminded throughout our meal and then warned during dessert about our time running out. Hard to look forward to coming again hope next time the service is a bit more welcoming. We are unsure of these time limits as other resturants and takeouts are not pushing that rule. It is somewhat understandable to share the asscesability of this service but i feel that level was unnecessary and effected our enjoyment of this experience.

Great food, great service, a little on the pricier side but not by much. Main complaint is the acoustics in there is horrid. You can't here yourself over the din. Not a relaxing environment inside and the outdoor areas are in an area that tends to get weird gusts constantly, possibly because of the nearby main roads (plural). But outside of that I will fight a person for one of there fancy dessert shakes.

There was nothing wrong with them but honestly for $18 I would have expected it to blow me away in presentation and taste. I wouldn't be able to pick the difference between a burger from here or a $10 burger from my local cafe. Would I come back? I would give it a second chance and maybe try some of their other menu items.

Great place to eat, they specialise in burgers and wood oven pizzas. Really good cozy feel with the decor. Friendly staff. You can't make a booking so probably better suited to smaller table sizes on busy nights. They recently had menu change which saw some really great items leave the menu, that weren't replaced with other good ideas. I feel like they've started to stray away from what made them so good to begin with, but still enjoy it when we eat here.

This restaurant is a great place to dine. The atmosphere was nice, food was delicious, staff were excellent, everything looked clean and it was all very reasonably priced. I had the beef short ribs with everything and my only criticism would be the white bread included in the meal was a let down, it was stale and bland, I think the restaurant would benefit greatly from perhaps changing it to an American corn bread or just some other type of bread. The Mac and cheese although it was still very nice, it was a little peppery and a touch dry. Lastly the pickles, they were undeniably delicious but perhaps the restaurant could change them to be served either full or cut in half perhaps, I feel that would be more aesthetically pleasing than a pile of pickle slices, I understand if the restaurant serves them like that for convenience but if the pickle was say sliced in half length ways it would be easy to cut and look beautiful on the plate. All in all though I think the pickled duck is excellent and I am really looking forward to my next visit.

Tried the new smoker menu recently and was pretty disappointed. The Pork ribs were dry, tough, and had the membrane left on, not a St. Louis cut as advertised. Tots and beans were fine but coleslaw and sauce were sub par. Others had the Beef ribs and Brisket, also dry. Burgers and Schnitzel's are no better than a regular pub, but not bad.

Before I went to the Pickled Duck, I had heard many great things about their burgers and I was excited to finally try them for myself. The view from the restaurant was amazing as it is located on the corner of a park, making the vibe of the restaurant calm and family friendly. The view of the park was also a nice change from watching cars go by. When we first entered, we were immediately attended to and quickly greeted to by a very nice and enthusiastic member of staff and given a table straight away. My family and I were quite impressed considering how busy the restaurant appeared. The restaurant was lovely, modern and looked fantastic. I loved how the kitchen was open so you could see what the cooks were doing. After viewing the menu and the many options, I decided that I would order a cheeseburger. The meal didn’t take overly long to come out which was great as many places you would be waiting ages when its busy. The Burger was also delicious and I was very happy that we had decided to try the restaurant for ourselves. The price of the burgers were a little expensive but well worth it! The only negative I had about the Pickled Duck was that the table we were seated at was right by the door, meaning every time someone would walk in or out we would get hit by very cold wind. This also made a food go colder a lot quicker than it normally would. Also, I would recommend making your serve of chips larger as we thought they would be more as we had to buy them separately.

Good casual dining experience we can always get a table here and you don't have to book, well they don't actually take bookings so that works for me when we decide last minute to go out for a meal. Sometimes it would be nice to book a table for a birthday dinner but rather than roll the dice we eat elsewhere if we go in a large group. The food is always on point and it never disappoints

A nice place to get a quick bite. The burger I had looked small but was very filling and delicious. The decor is relaxing. We sat in the outdoor area which is very protected from the elements. It has the feel of a bar, with its large screens showing the football. An upmarket take on fast food. No table service, but unfortunately that seems to be the norm these days. They don't take reservations so that may make it hit or miss on a busy night.

Great location for a family lunch next to Civic park. Not sure if you can book a table so need to just hit and hope but the turnover is pretty quick. Sunday morning breakfast with the family, including 3 young children, was an enjoyable experience with decadent milkshakes for the kids. Unfortunately the kids menu for breakfast didn't exist and the waffles were a major letdown especially when pancakes aren't on the menu. As much as the environment was fantastic we won't be back soon as the simple meals we purchased made for a very expensive morning. My breakfast a week earlier out with the family for similar meals was much less. On a final note the staff were nice.

It’s a while that we have dinner twice a week in Pickled Duck. We enjoyed food, drinks and the atmosphere considering the prices. It’s a couple of weeks that menu has been updated with increased prices which doesn’t make sense in some instances. Just to give an example, chicken wings were $10 including a side of blue cheese sauce. It has now increased to $12 excluding the sauce. And to get the sauce it costs another $2 which is in total $14. This is surprisingly 40% increase in price which doesn’t make any sense unfortunately!!!

We had buffalo cauliflower bites which had too much of vinegar(not great to eat), nacho waffles fries was crispy and tasty, duck wings were also good. Frequent customers of this joint, my partner and I usually love the experience when we go together. But this time we went for a birthday with family and 4 kids in tow, and safe to say our experience was entirely different. For starters, I never realised that they don't take bookings, no matter what size. What is that about?! I had to arrive early and save a table... To me, expecting paying customers to gamble on a table at your establishment is just plain arrogant. If you don't want large groups, just have a booking limit...no more than 8 people per table or something. But the customers with the courtesy to book ahead (especially families with kids) have a right to know they have a table when they arrive. The food was as good as usual, but the staff were noticeably and uncharacteristically rude tonight, which was disappointing. The dedicated kids menu made us think it was kid friendly, but then our 8, 6 and 4 year olds were served their dessert in an oversized wine glass, far too tall for their little hands to reach...broken glass waiting to happen...not very well thought out! So while we might still enjoy this venue for our date night, it's certainly not a family restaurant and shouldn't represent itself that way. Ditch the kids menu and just stick with the adult demographic...who can go with the flow if they can't get a table and won't turn the dessert glassware into a shard sundae.

Didn't wait very long at all for our food to arrive which was great having our 2 year old with us. Jalapeno poppers so yum...american gangster burger 10/10....chips good...haloumi sliders really nice...disappointed in pulled chicken and beef brisket sliders...were below average. Good and cool place to go...unfortunate about the young female staff members who have no personality...no smile...no eye contact and no excitement to be there. Went there once, the meals were fine (we got pizzas), but the inability to make bookings is a shortcoming. We were fortunate to only have to wait about 15 minutes, unlike some people, but there's no indoor waiting area (so we went across the road and looked at the cinema's upcoming features posters). But if we'd had a longer wait to contend with, would have gone elsewhere. And not enough parking spaces doesn't help, either.

Speaking of the lunch and dinner menu, you should definitely try their amazing pizzas. Puttanesca and The Porker pizza are my favorites. Try the Deep Dish Pie as well along with some cocktails. You'll love it. Burgers are not over-filled with many stuff and try The Flying Dutchman burger which is mouth-watering. Chocolate Brownie, Nutella Calzone and all the other desserts are a must to try. Their friendly and kind staff with a smile on their faces will please you. Once this placed popped up well before the new development at TTP, it was the place to be, sure now their is a few more places to choose but The Pickled Duck is still got the view of Civic Park and great for large groups. No bookings but if they are full they can txt you when a seat is free, my recommendation is come at different times and see for yourself when the atmosphere is good for you. I love 1400hrs. Try the Jalapeno Poppers and their signature Pizza with the drizzle of ranch. Yes they have salad and did I mention the beers on tap can rotate but they always have a chilled Sauvignon Blanc on tap too 🙃

I told the staff and they were understanding while being light hearted and non judgemental! Really reduced my anxiety about the matter, hilarious memory instead of mortifying disaster. Same same but different, Its essentially a burger joint in a fancy setting, the restaurant and staff were good, but the burgers were no better or worse than any other burger places around town, I had the USA burger and there was a lot of mustard on it which probably didn't help my rating, I love mustard but it's gotta be used a little sparingly, it's not Mayo. Would I go again, probably, would I rave about it to friends, no. Also, my whole group noted that the "pickled duck" hasn't a single duck dish on the menu, not a problem as such, just weird, actually the name in general is weird, soulds like a european high end restaraunt, but its not, again, not a problem, just a little strange. Overall the experience was fine, ok, not sensational.

The Pickled Duck is the 'IT" spot right now in the North East. The decor is an amazing "recycled chic" look that uses lots of reclaimed timber and exposed brick. The food is great and the menu varies every few months wine and beer selection is amazing but the "wine cellar" waiting area ( thirsty camel bottleshop) is a bit of a let down. This visit the food was amazing as usual and the drinks well priced but our docket was "not printed" due to "low ink" and as a result we had to wait extra for our food and would never have recieved it if we hadnt complained. Managment did apologise and food came quickly after it was brought to the kitchens attention but no free sides or drinks were offered.
