K. K.Thought it was a lovely atmosphere and good service. Good food and wasn’t disappointed. Between entrees mains dessert and drinks. Ambience was great and just Loved the classic olden day vintage feel. Parking was easy and free with festival of foods.

E. W.We opted for the tasting menu, the food was fabulous very creative and modern both in flavour and presentation. The waiting staff were excellent very friendly and efficient. The only thing stopping the 5 star rating is the place itself. It is very old and dated and you feel at times like you are sat in the middle of a function and not a fine dining restaurant, this is due to the restaurant being part of the entrance and bar.

S. M.This was our second time at the Playford Restaurant for Christmas lunch. The welcome was perfect, the table service throughout the meal was outstanding, and the food, including the vegetarian meal was also delicious. One of our group was unable to attend due to the bushfire in the Adelaide Hills, and we asked for a selection of the meal to be packed so we could take it with us to our friend. The staff handled this request perfectly, but the chef decided that they could not do justice to the presentation of the courses as take-away, and we were offered a full refund without even needing to ask. In addition,we were given a petit fours to take to our friend, and as we were leaving, the senior manager on duty made a point of checking with us that we were happy with the way this situation had been handled. Overall, a very professional but relaxed and enjoyable Christmas lunch.
A. j.Pocket friendly restaurant. Food is OK not that much yum as I expect. Service was quite nice and humble staff. Good for family gathering. I can recommend this as economical relax your pocket and ambiance pretty good there.
d. a.Very upscaled restaurant designed around a classical take on the Art Nouveau movement. The culinary dexterity in some of their entrés is to die for, and the staff are highly trained in the art of true service.
The food here is top quality and I've experienced 3 dining experiences, all with 3 course meals and wine. Every sitting has proven to be better than the last and the lounge area opposite the restaurant is a great place for a midday coffee or evening drinks.

M. T.Ermergawd... grab 1 waffle, add vanilla bean thickened cream, nutella and maple syrup to it, you're welcome. Its popular so you only get 1 hour slot to eat. Mushrooms are epic too! As long as you like rich sounding Australians speaking with British accents and opera music non stop as your company, youll love it. On a cobber scale of 1-5, I give it a full 5 cobbers, govenor!

S. N.(Translated) We stayed at Playford for two next and enjoyed breakfast the first morning. There is a manageable but very high quality offer. The coffee can be made free of charge by the barista, otherwise there is a fully automatic coffee machine for self-service at the buffet. There is a deduction because you cannot order an omelet, the order of the egg dishes (scrambled eggs and fried egg) was somewhat unstructured and the breakfast area was very open and not private enough. The conditions were very friendly.

Wir waren für zwei nächste im Playford und haben am ersten Morgen das Frühstück genossen. Es gibt ein überschaubares, dafür aber sehr hochwertiges Angebot. Der Kaffee wird auf Wunsch kostenlos vom Barista hergestellt, ansonsten steht noch ein Kaffeevollautomat zur Selbstbedienung am Buffett. Abzug gibt es, weil man kein Omelett bestellen kann, die Bestellung der Eierspeisen (Rührei und Spiegelei) etwas unstrukturiert war und der Frühstücksbereich sehr offen einsehbar und nicht privat genug war. Die Bedingungen war sehr freundlich.
