Brilliant, delicious and huge, generous sizes. Our server ‘Anna’ was friendly, gave outstanding recommendations and customer service, really made our lunch a spectacular experience. Jess- the mixology extraordinaire and manager gave us a cocktail experience we will never forget. Make sure you come to this incredible establishment and enjoy the epic service, spectacular drinks and delicious food on offer.

First time having a taste of New York at 5 Boroughs style: think burgers, NY style sandwiches, wings, tacos, waffle fries, steaks and ribs, along with a full bar and cocktails menu. I find it hard to pass up baby back ribs in any menu, so had to try one of those - it wasn't all that tender but was a huge serve for a half rack, and when it first came out we actually thought we might have ordered a full rack by mistake 😆 Also had to try one of their hand crafted burgers and chose the Brooklyn brisket from the specialty burgers section of the menu - this bad boy was stacked with beefy goodness and definitely requires two hands to handle. It was on the salty side for us so might try a different burger next time. Their waffle fries probably can't get any more authentic than being imported from the USA! They went down very nicely with the accompanying sauce. I'm told the place can get pretty busy on a Friday night (when we visited) though thanks to a few late cancellations my family got to have the smaller upstairs area all to ourselves! Anyways make sure you book ahead and reserve your table 👌 Our order: * Brooklyn brisket burger, $18 - smoked & stacked beef brisket, house made cheese sauce * Pork baby back ribs, $26 (half rack) - marinated, slow-cooked & caramelised with bourbon BBQ sauce, served with choice of side * Waffle fries w/ chipotle mayo, $9

Come here every week for Tuesday Triva, foods always great and the staff are great. They are always so thoughtful and amazing. Anna, Paige and Jess always make sure we are taken care of.

Pretty good place with very nice staff. I personally got the king of Queens burger and although the chicken was slightly tougher than I would have liked, it was still quite good. I also tried the brownie stack and the lemon meringue pie, both of which were very nice. It would have been nice to have had a water jug on the table; instead the staff would just refill your cup when/if you asked.

First time at a 5 Boroughs, have heard a lot from friends and family so thought we would check it out. Menu is massive with heaps to choose from, both food and drinks menu seem well thought out ! Good selection of tap beers. Our server Anna was so down to earth, easy to approach for orders and questions! She’s a star and made sure everything was perfect. We noticed a table near us had some problems with their food but anna seemed to handle it well! My husband said he hasn’t seen any waitress so apologetic and care so much, was so nice to see as it’s not often the case these days. Then when we finally got our food it was all perfect! Plates were virtually empty Worth a visit just for service from our waitress let alone the great food choices! Will be back thanks 5boroughs❤️

Been here for lunch many times. Staff friendly. Food arrives quickly. My personal favourite pub lunch Friday treats are the onion rings and the Philly cheese steak sandwich. This is comprised of brisket smothered in gooey cheese sauce, a smattering of relish on a fresh sub style bun. Unlike a traditional steak sandwich that often when you bite into it the whole chunk of steak pulls out flapping awkwardly while you try to find a delicate way to handle the situation, this is brisket. Melt in the mouth brisket. Yum.

Location, ambience and customer service are pretty good. I appreciated that they had a separate fryer for chips and did not fry meat and chips in the one fryer. Onion rings were pretty good. I personally thought that the individual burgers were a little expensive, approx $18 without fries. The sliders were good value. Their $16.90 lunch specials from Mon to Fri 11 am to 4 pm sounds good, but unfortunately when asked they are not able to offer any vego lunch specials. All in all, I would still rather come here than Miss Kay’s burger bar down the road.

We booked 5 Boroughs for our Team Christmas Party and I can honestly say, that I will be using them for more events going forward! The event space upstairs was perfectly spaced out but still easy access to bathrooms etc. The Manager and Staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with. This was the first Christmas party I have had to organise and this place made it so easy! The food was delicious and everyone was really happy with it. And the service was the best service I have ever received. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Thank you to all staff and Management!

Our first time visiting this restaurant and we were pleased with all of our meals. The waffle fries were delicious, as was my chicken salad. The bottomless iced-tea and lemonade was a hit with the kids. We were slightly disappointed that the drinks didn't come out for almost 15 minutes after ordering when there was plenty of opportunity to bring them earlier. Our waitress seemed to be in training but she was very friendly and helpful and checked on us a few times.

Ordered 3 items from UberEats on Friday night and didn't receive an item from our order due to the delivery driver only giving us one bag. Received a call from a lovely lady (that I unfortunately didn't get her name) to inform us it was the drivers error. Her customer service was impeccable and an asset to the establishment. Wow! This place is absolutely incredible. We have been there a number of times and always had amazing service, however last night they went above and beyond. We were celebrating a birthday and they did everything in their power to give the birthday girl an incredible experience. They allowed us to decorate the table, helped bring out the cakes and sang happy birthday, and gave quite literally the best service I have ever had at a restaurant. Aside from the service, food and drinks were incredible and were brought to us really fast. I could not recommend this place enough. Thank you 5B team!!

First time diner at a 5 Boroughs and felt so welcomed by the staff at this store - Have not experienced such high hospitality within a restaurant in so long with our server Aggie being very attentive to our needs - Aggie explained the menu and how it worked being a first time diner and provided recommendations with an in depth knowledge on the food items and beverages available - the way it should be. The food was fantastic I ordered the chips (to share), croquettes (to share) and a beef brisket burger (quite filling) and they were all amazing, my friend ordered the southern fried chicken burger (amazing and filling). Speed of service for food was great as well as the speed of service for seating and ordering. Honestly being a local its great to see a restaurant making a customer feel welcome regardless of being a first time diner or not, as a person rather than just another number through the door. I also saw the staff checking up on customers quite regularly to ensure that had everything they need. Amazing Experience and thank you again.

Our service provided from our waitress Anna was the best we've had in many years, you can tell she really loves what she does and wants the customer experience to feel personal and welcoming. My family and I have been here 3 times for the food, however we have never taken much notice of the service. Yesterday when we went for lunch we were served by Stephanie, who stood out from any server we have had before. She was not only super friendly, and great to talk to but made us feel happy to be there and comfortable. She was warm, funny, super helpful and professional. She went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience we could. She recommended the irish curry loaded fries which were absolutely delicious. I couldn't fault her and we will definitely be back in hopes of seeing her again!

Absolutely incredible. The table service by Anna was warm, friendly and she definitely knew the food well! Anna was able to describe the flavours of each dish and drink that we asked about in detail. She was passionate about giving us a great experience. When the food came out we were very impressed. You could tell nothing was made from a packet. We had karaage chicken starter which was full of flavour, not just crumb. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the meat was tender. The mushroom sauce was to die for! The portion sizes were big and we left feeling very full. Highly recommended the Margheritas too! Best I've ever had! Can't wait to come back.

Quite impressed by this joint as I have been looking to go here ever since they opened. They were quite busy yet we were seated promptly and the food did come out quite fast given the busyness of a Friday night. The waitress we had upstairs Aggie - probably spelled that wrong sorry :( - was fantastic and very attentive. The ribs/fries were thoroughly enjoyed by my girlfriend and the burger I had was excellent too. Pricing is also decent but 4 stars only because even though the bottomless lemonade is value it doesnt taste at all that good and the wings were average too. Definitely will be back though!

Just got home from our best visit to this restaurant. Staff member at door was lovely and our waitress anna made our night. We initially wanted ribs(which I always order) that had sold out tonight which at first was annoying until Anna reccomended both the chicken waffle main and the hot chicken wings which we loved! Highly recommend the hersheys triple choc shake, and cheese fries. Ordered the lunch special, rump was a good size but was cooked medium. Halfway through eating it became rare at the thick end which is what I ordered so I wasnt going to complain. Salad was nice as well as the gravy and fries.

Good food. Especially the waffle fries :) Service was good on the first visit after opening and not as good on the second visit. Tried to book for the third visit as it is a generally busy place around meal times but was told that they don’t take bookings for two and to just turn up and test our luck. Confusing as they took a booking for us the second time we went there, so we decided to go elsewhere as we knew it would be busy and we were hungry, and to be honest we haven’t gone back since. Hopefully they don’t continue the trend of service and they can get it back up to when we visited the first time. Unsure when we will be returning if we do.

Great service, great food. My partner and I came in and grabbed 2x King of Queens and the 1/2kg BBQ wings. Wings were mental, we loved it. Friendly wait staff made us feel welcome. Highly recommend The Dark Borough, a chery cola drink mixed with spice rum! Also the 5B R & B Rib back combo entailed with two sliders of your choice, goes down very nice woth the Hornet IPA beer! Loaded fries doe the table to share was a must, great times! Music was questionable but hey still a great time!
