Good food just a bit pricey. Frequented by all the executive and lawyer types from the buildings beside. Typical attire is suits. Went for a company lunch at Melbourne Cup day and it was a set menu with oysters and charcuterie plate for starter then a choice of entree and main. I had the scallops for an entree and lamb rack for main. Very tasty. Pretty good service though because it was quite busy that time, food took quite a while to arrive.

Really lovely and genuine customer service, food that is well thought out and delicious - I'm a vegan & gluten free, there were more than enough seriously delicious options for me to chose from! We had a wonderful breakfast here, the coffee is yum and the food was great. I had "The big breakfast" and was able to substitute a few items making it the perfect plate of food for me. Our waitress was warm and friendly and the ambiance was lovely as well. We will definitely stop here again when we come back to the area.

A modern menu and a really cool layout. This is a great place to eat I had breakfast here and it was served quickly and it tasted great. The coffee was great temp and full of flavour. The highlight for me was service, there were all happy and trying to do their best to make the experience as good as they can.

Had breakfast here 2 days running while in Brisbane for work and both times it was excellent. Service was excellent but the good took a while to come, probably more a reflection of how busy it was. It is in an excellent location as well.

Pretty decent place, nice milkshakes and smoothies. Though I'd avoid their meals with chicken as they use very dry chicken breast chunks. The Tropicana pizza isn't bad, but I'd say it's below average, while their originally named "Chicken Pasta" was the blandest pasta dish I've ever had. It tasted no different from plain pasta with dry chicken chunks.

I've been coming to Aquila on and off for 5 or 6 years and the coffee, food and service is always fantastic.

Pretty good pasta and pizza. We ordered mushroom and potato pizza to share between 4, it was good, a little dry but not bad. For mains we ordered lamb risotto, duck breast pasta, raw salad with grilled salmon and fettucine marinara. The pasta dishes were all delicious, raw salad bowl was pretty good too and the grilled salmon was cooked beautifully. Customer service was quick and friendly except the waiter got our order wrong and brought out arancini instead of the fettuccine marinara for one of our mains. This is a busy lunch spot so if you want a quick meal, do reserve a table beforehand.

Every time I work in Brisbane I will always grab my breakfast from Aquila. Although the menu has been drastically shortened and a lot of the dishes I loved taken off, the food is still super tasty and the service is great. I opted for the Smashed Avo with a side of Bacon and Haloumi and it was simply perfect. Great place to come before heading into work.

Janet serviced me this morning with a smile and great service. I ordered the coffee and porridge combo. The coffee was excellent and the porridge was tasty and plentiful. There was a small delay getting the porridge but Janet was all over it but acknowledged the delay and apologised. I'd go there again in a second after such great service.

Fantastic breakfast venue, even with the inevitable queue. In spite of how busy it was, the staff were very friendly, the service fast and the food delicious. Impressive serving sizes and great variety, including plenty of veggie options. The breakfast pizza is huge, by the way!

From smashed avo on Turkish in the morning with a decent hit of caffeine to cocktails in the evening with friends Aquila Caffe Bar never disappoints. The team are always friendly & welcoming. The menu has something for everyone. The specials boards at lunch is ever changing and interesting. An Italian flair with consistently great food and coffee. A must to try for locals and should do for visitors to Brisbane. Based in Eagle St in the heart of the cbd you won't miss it, just look for the yellow umbrellas out the front.

Great service and vibe. Aquila is a great option for an informal meeting in the city, well placed near riverside, 111 eagle and Central plaza. You can also stop in for a casual afternoon tipple. It's quite often busy in the mornings which can mean a small wait but it's popular for a reason.
