We ordered takeaway and ordered 2 pastas and a garlic bread. Garlic Bread had no cheese and was so dry we couldn’t eat it. The pastas were nice though.

They seem to get quite booked up so glad I called ahead in the morning. Tables filled quickly once it reached 6pm. Good ambience, service ok- they were understaffed so it was just the one waitress juggling everything for a bit. Half the seats were outdoors for alfresco dining but we were told that there wasn’t gas in the heaters and nothing they could do about it so it was pretty cold for a winter night by the sea (also on a side note we were being bitten by aplenty mozzies there). Unfortunately it’s a small restaurant and they were booked out so we remained in our seat but recommend getting that gas sorted asap. Bruschetta was delicious and pizzas looked small but they pack on the fillings so you’ll be surprisingly full after 3-4 slices. We enjoyed the popeye pizza and chilli chorizo. If you’re a fan of seafood and love capers and anchovies with a splash of salmon/prawn/cuttlefish chunks here and there it’s definitely going to be delicious. Scallops on top were a plus that added to the pizza.

If you're a tourist (like me) and you decide to get takeaway here, you might wonder why you're waiting a while for your order. It's because they do it right. This place is the real deal. The pizza and pasta are both amazing. I had the Gnocchi Puttanesca; if you like anchovies and intense flavours I can highly recommend it.

The best Italian food I’ve had! I love every dish. The pizzas are the best wood fire pizzas and the pasta dishes are to die for. If you thought dinner was amazing wait til you have the zonzelle for dessert! Incredible

At the time of our experience, Arco was only doing take aways. Due to this, we only tried it on our last night. An error on our part as it was the best pasta I had eaten in while. My normally super fussy toddler agreed and devoured her carbonara. It was a 45 minute wait yet being the Australia Day Weekend, it didn't surprise us. Additionally, they rang us when the food was ready which was a nice touch as it allowed us to go back to the apartment to pack etc. So definitely plan ahead. We got a cheesy cob loaf and this was a great entree for 4 adults with ample still remaining. Definitely somewhere to order from when visiting the area.

Born and raised in Italy, I can say this is one of the best italian restaurants in Queensland! The wood fired pizza is just wonderful and the homemade pasta reminds me of the way my nonna used to make it ❤ a lot of recipes are also the same as the traditional ones. We assume the pizza dough is made on site it tastes that good! The wood fired oven just adds to the culinary experience. The staff are uber professional, especially when it comes to takeaway; instead giving you a time to come down and sit and wait; they provide an approximate timeframe; and call you when it’s ready! So it’s as fresh and as hot as possible.

Brilliant home made garlic bread and Meat Lovers pizza was one of the best I have had. They changed pancetta to prawns as an ingredient with no problems. It's a dog--friendly restaurant with a bowl of water provided. BYO as well with a bottle shop across the road. Great staff with a friendly smile and helpfulness.

We had heard such great reviews of this place so thought we would give it a try. The BYO factor is good. Unfortunately we were left quite disappointed. The deep fried camembert was ok but the berry citrus sauce tasted like jam out of a jar and was served on toast which I thought was unnecessary. The margarita pizza was lacking flavour and only had 3 leaves of basil on top and the mozzarella was perhaps sliced a bit too thick in parts. The salmon ravioli itself was very nice, the soft pasta pillows were packed full of flavour but the sauce it came in had a strange sweetness to it like someone had added sugar by mistake.

My family have visited Arcobaleno on the Beach between the 4 of us 4 times since we have been on holidays. The food is sooo good. The first time we went my family shared there meals. The pizzas look amazing and the Seafood platter they couldn’t stop talking about. I had a plate of Roast Vegetables with a spiced yoghurt. We went again last night Friday 23rd August 2019 There was 6 of us, we booked for 6pm and they were busy, but they service didn’t suffer. So if you are at Rainbow Beach drop in and have a meal you will not be disappointed. Just a few pictures of the meals from last night.

Food was tasty. Biggest issue was the size of the meals. Prices Aren’t cheap so you do expect reasonable sizes. One full size meal which cost approximately $25 takeaway was smaller than what you would expect for an entree.

Awesome food and service. Great service, great and fresh food, and plenty of it. A HUGE garlic bread, yes, a whole small loaf. And our lunches of knochi and lasagne arrived at the table nice and hot!!! And we were offered a take home container to take our left overs home. We did not even have to ask.

We cancelled our Dine-in Booking as we were tired & ordered Take-away. Ordered a Vegetarian Pizza with added Artichocke & Pineapple, it was divine. The base was super thin which I enjoyed as I actually could taste all the toppings rather than just the base. We also ordered Beef Ravioli which was divine however the serving was rather small. Dessert was a cheesecake, again divine & oh so smooth. If we were in town longer, I would have returned. My only suggestion is a larger serving of pasta would be better value for $$, apart from that the food is beautiful.

Great staff, very friendly. The Seafood Platter is the best we've had, not your normal crab and oysters, just a delicate mix of salmon, calamari, pesto prawns (no peeling here) and scallops. Interesting salad mix and a few chips. No room for deserts so we have to go back again!

Over a short holiday period at Rainow Beach, we ended up at this slightly tucked away restaurant 4 times. Twice for a morning coffee - quite good - and something sweet - exceptional, once for a pizza - very good - and once for a seafood platter - really good. The food across the 4 visits was all very good to excellent. The service was friendly and quite acceptable. It's a resort town and you can't expect that they can find professional staff - they provide jobs for locals and they do them well.

Great, 9/10 We came on New Year day. Didn't order pasta because they said the wait was too long, but had the chilli pizza n the pepperoni. Both were really good. Cheese was good, the pepperoni salami was good, dough was perfect. The only thing is I wasn't the biggest fan of was the tomato based sauce. It wasn't bad by any means, it was good, but that's why im giving 9/10 instead of 10/10. I know its fussy, but hey, I'm being honest.

Really a good restaurant even so it is not on the beach. But the food is very good and presented nicely. The staff is also very nice. The only disappointment is that they don't serve beer or wine. An Italian restaurant without wine does not really make sense. But I guess in Australia it has something to do with the liqueur license. You can bring your own wine but if you are by yourself and you are travelling then this is not so convenient.

Arcobaleno isn't on Rainbow Beach's main street. You have to go down a lane and when you arrive it seems like you've discovered a secret gem. And you have! We had the seafood platter and never had better. That plus being BYO wine makes this restaurant worth making some effort in getting to.

It's a nice place, with pretty good atmosphere, music would be nice & they could slightly improve their staff attentiveness. We booked a table last night for my birthday and when we arrived it wasn't ready and they had to get a lady to stand up while they/we helped split the two tables. I have always enjoyed the food here although last night we chose one of the most expensive pasta dishes and we felt the serving size to be very small, between entrée & main size for $29. I queried this with the head waiter & she confirmed that it was a standard size, they also served it with parmesan bread which wasn't mentioned on the menu so I assume they've had other complaints about the portions & are trying to bolster it a bit.

Would like to thank the chef for the amazing food we had a big table order before us so the wait for food was a little long but we was looked after extremely well by the chef and the guy waiter they was very friendly and come over numerous times for a conversation and to see if we was ok this doesn't happen often so it was nice to experience this specially because my mum and dad are over from England. I love coming here every time I visit Rainbow Beach. Staff are always friendly. Fruit teas are beautiful. Today I had a delicious savoury mince breakfast. Very generous portion for reasonable Cafe price. The kids menu is excellent, rosti with the bacon and eggs was delicious. They didn't mind my dog sitting outside with us. Absolutely fabulous breakfast. I’ve never had a breakfast as great as this. Lovely wait staff as well. Go the scrambled eggs and bacon breakfast you won’t be sorry. We will definitely be back!

This place came highly recommended and it didnt disappoint. Its good quality food would put many a Sydney restaurant to shame. The young staff were lovely but lacked that attention to flow, which was the chefs responsibility too. This was highlighted in the fact my wife's starter was cleared before mine and then the waiter stood there waiting for me to finish. After our plates were cleared it took 30 seconds for the mains to be put down. Tut tut chef, slow down. I managed two 5 star restaurants so others may not care about these kind of issues but its important to some. Regardless you need to go eat here and enjoy the dam fine food.

One of the nicest places to eat in Rainbow beach, the atmosphere is friendly and all staff are absolutely lovely, they come say hello and ask how you day is etc and are very inviting. The place is very well set up and feels homely in a sense. Kids play area too which is very inviting for young families or kids and easy to keep an eye on them. Food is good, the thickshakes my partner and I had were amazing, best I've had while at a restaurant/cafe. We both had the Manzo beef burgers and chips which were very nice and filling and looked exactly the same so consistency between the two was great, the lettuce tasted very fresh also which was a great bonus, the waitress also asked if we would like any that we had finished to take home, which was a nice addition to even ask! We than later at night returned for pizza and we also had to cob loaf, all for takeaway. The cob loaf was very nice and tasty, the nicest I've ever had. The pizzas were very nice but were on the high end for expensive pizzas, and the consistency in shape between the two wasn't great in sizing/shape, which for me was the only downfall.

The kind waitress took my new order and explained me i would be charged for the dish i mistakenly ordered. We came to rainbow beach for 2 nights and the first night we were looking for somewhere to eat and everything was closed until we saw arcobaleno open, we ordered some pizza takeaway, it was some of the best pizza we have ever had, the staff were so friendly, even the chefs spoke to us and were so nice. We came back the next evening for dinner and had pasta and was absolutely devine !!! Highly recommend eating here. It’s also BYO which is great!!!
