Let me start by saying the staff are friendly and not in your face at all with asking if you're ready, etc, or during eating. Now, for what we ordered, the steak being $45, I was hoping they cooked it right. You can always ask for a medium rare, and it's rare it's cooked right. This was perfectly cooked and was delicious to eat, definitely keen for it again. We also ordered corn fritters, which also cooked well and was yummy 😋

I've never had a more fluffy pancake! It was truely delicious and the portion was filling. They have made a little mistake in my coffee order but fixed it up immediately with a smile behind the mask 🤣 staff was attentive but not over the top. All in all a very good first impression. Will definitely return!

Great space. It was quiet when I was there. Only had a black coffee ( Campos) but it was good. Sat outside around corner on cushions. Went past on Sunday and it was packed! It's a good place for groups as many large table settings. Menu looked rather funky and interesting. There were a few things I could have got stuck into. Recommend

I had the "Asian eggs", and it was great. It was a little too salty and had a takeaway Chinese food flavour, so lacked authenticity, but understandable since this was Asian fusion brunch. It definitely could have come with some greens, but was overall still very tasty! Service was good, but after being asked if we want more drinks 4 times in less than 10 minutes, it felt like we were being kicked out, despite the restaurant only being half full. Overall a nice experience nonetheless and friendly staff for the most part.

Finally came back again for breakfast! Coffee is very well priced, and staff are very friendly. Loved that they catered for my friend who was dairy intolerant (removed the tahini from their dish). My gnocchi was delicious, and the fries were a nice touch. Next time I'm definitely sitting outside for the better lighting lol.

Food, ambience and service absolutely amazing. I had scallops and shared a tomahawk steak. Flavours with the scallops were yumbelliferous and the best cooked steak that I have had in years. If I could give more praise I would but can't think of a better way of describing a truly delightful experience. Deserves ten stars out of five.

We had a chilli crab spaghetti and cheese soufflé. Chili crab spaghetti was tasty with rich crab meat and heaps of olive oil. Cheese soufflé was special with poached egg and bacon on top. It can get busy on the weekends but worth the wait.

Went to Billy Cart for bottomless brunch and it was just really basic. The food was ok but nothing special. The service was pretty bad. The waitress we had wasn't a delight at all, she was quite rude and unapproachable. We had a group of six and we all felt the same. All round just expected more and especially because it wasn't cheap. 2.5 ☆'s

They were a bit bland by my expectations but still good. My mum had the Reuben. They make their own pastrami and it was quite good. The pastrami had a bit of a pepper taste to it which was nice.

It ticks all boxes: spacious, has all day brunch menu, good coffee, looks clean and has a good atmosphere. The food was tasty although my xo omelette dish got a little salty and oily after a few bites. I’ll come back to try something else. Great menu! I ordered loaded eggs and my friend got the cheese soufflé. The meals looks small, but they were filling. The loaded eggs was delicious and the cheese sauce really made the dish. The cheese soufflé was also very tasty. I also had a fruit frappe (watermelon and mango one) which was very refreshing. Looked quite busy, but only had to wait 5mins a for a table.

Delighted by the combination of dishes that’s available. Drink menu also looks great to cater groups of ppl. Just time for breakfast before flying out. We enjoyed an Asian aussie dish of deep-fried eggs, king prawns on crispy noodle cake, bacon and garnishes - delicious and the egg yokes were soft. Our other dish was also outstanding - house sprouted gluten free seeds and hemp loaf, avocado, toasted seeds with pumpkin seed hummous with 2 poached eggs. Coffees and service were great. They serve campos coffee. We ordered cappuccinos. Waitress comes with flat whites. We say that we ordered cappuccinos. She goes back to the machine, sprinkles chocolate on top and gives it back to us. Chocolate does not turn a flat white into a cappuccino. There is a reason why we ordered cappuccinos. We felt like them. Plus, the service is not as professional as it could be. Food was really tasty though, credit where credit is due.

Great food, great service, fantastic staff who really know their menu really well. I'm on keto and the waitress was so knowledgable on how to advise my dish choices. I had a matcha latte with almond milk and to my delight they make their own almond milk as well. The atmosphere was quite hip and trendy as well. Parking can be a bit challenging but paid parking is available nearby where coles is. It is slightly pricey, but u do get what u pay for. Yum

I’ve been to Billykart West End twice now; both times during the breakfast menu period (before 11:00). The service is at the highest level and so friendly. The food is even better! The scrambled eggs were beautifully silky and buttery and the pancakes were light, fluffy and flavourful. I will definitely be coming back.

Kudos to the chef this morning. He was a one man show and there were 8-11 tables. Everything came out timely and done properly. The chef had good work ethics too. He changed out an egg benedict that fell on the kitchen counter. While most chefs will put it back on the plates. Breakfast was good but overpriced. I like the beans, hash and chorizo. Add some bacon on the side and it'll be perfect. Sourdough and scrambled eggs (+$2) were pretty solid. Don't think you can go wrong with this one. Mushrooms was an add on. Flat white was underwhelming... froth wasn't smooth. Beans were left out for too long or the pressure wasn't high enough. Either ways, it didn't bring out the aroma of coffee. Ambience is great. Good setting for conversations. Toilets at the back. Will be back again.

The atmosphere was very different due to Covid19 seating restrictions, but that didn't diminish the excellent service and delicious food. So glad I chose this for my post lockdown dinner.

The experience is reasonable, however here is why I give it three stars: the drinks menu is limited and expensive. I ended up just going for a Jack and Pepsi (they don’t do Coke) which is the same price for an alcoholic Ginger Beer. Further, the food is quite good - a complex menu of modern Australian cuisine. However, my spaghetti was not cooked evenly and was not al dente. It was delicious in flavour and very filling, though. Finally, when the issue was brought to the waitstaff’s attention, I was merely offered for the chef to prepare the meal again. I was not given the option for any other way to alleviate the poor experience (such as a free drink, discount on next meal etc). As any West Ender, I was not prepared for the kitchen to throw away the food so opted not to have the dish prepared again. It would have been nice if there was another option.

Really really impressed with Billykart! My first time here, I came for lunch and was happy with the wide range of menu items that would suit everyone’s appetites. I ordered the harissa eggplant which I thought was really unique and cooked so nicely! The staff were also really lovely and attentive. Also recommend the strawberry and mint fizz on their drinks menu. Happy to come back to billykart next time I’m in West End! 💖

Had dinner at Billykart Westend last night Saturday 11th July 2021. Service was professional, friendly and welcoming. Had the gin cured trout and was not disappointed an excellent starter. Main was the swordfish and zucchini spaghetti. Again a brilliant dish accompanied with an excellent Bellwether Cab Sav. All in all got to be worth a visit for anybody who enjoys a good evening out with good food to remember.

I came by for lunch with a couple of friends on a Sunday two weeks ago. I love what they did with the decor and the food menu option are all so very tempting. I had the steak, it was cooked perfectly. The waitress who take of us was really professional and made us taste some wines. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Also next time I will remember to book and order a cheese souffle at the same time. This dish is highly appreciated by costumer and gets quickly sold out.

I'm not much for fancy places, I'm usually disappointed when I order something around 40bucks and a somewhat empty plate comes along, but they KNOW what they're doing! The food was outstanding. If I had to be critical, I'd say go easy on the salt but otherwise really good stuff. The ambiance and the staff add to the overall experience, we had a great time, thanks!

Enjoyed a lovely brunch here for a baby shower. The food was large portions and well priced. The ladies enjoyed a range of breakfast cocktails and teas, with a shared breakfast entree and then main meals from the menu. Would definitely recommend visiting on a week night (though check the open hours) to get the deal of burger, fries, and soft drink for $20. My partner and I visited on a quiet night and had the luxury of receiving all of the staff's attention. We stuck to the burger menu, and we were thoroughly satisfied with what we received. Trying a cheeseburger and a pork burger, they both had a fantastic balance of flavours. The parmesan and truffle chips were delicious, though a little bit oily (likely a result of adding truffle oil to an already deep-fried product). Though it wasn't listed on the menu, we asked if they could make the shakes boozy, and were delighted to be told that not only could they add spirits, they could add additional flavours and experiment if we liked as well. At their recommendation, we ordered a peanut butter and chocolate shake with spiced rum. After thoroughly enjoying that, we asked to try an experiment, which came out as a strawberry shake with buttered vodka. Both were delicious. I would like to try their main menu as well, but that will have to wait for another time. Above all, the wait staff were very friendly, especially in encouraging the off-menu drinks. We will definitely be returning.

This is a great restaurant and cafe located just off the main strip in South Brisbane. The menu is fresh and great for leisurely lunch. I go here often as it is close to my office and their coffee is good and reasonably priced. The decor is modern, bright and fun and the main dining area catches a summer breeze. I have heard that dinner is also a great option here but havent tried it yet myself.

Hallelujah!! After many misses and no hits over the last few weeks of holidaying in QLD , Morgan (Billykart's amazing barista) served us a perfect latte that rivalled any we've had in Melbourne. Staff had already thanked us for notifying them about the change of party size and sat us at an outside table in the sunshine. Wait staff were super polite and helpful bringing us three different wines to taste before we chose. Meals were great (brunch menu) with my other half plumping for the loaded eggs and crispy potatoes and I had the Sand Crab Spaghetti. Both meals were just right and the portions ample. We managed to squeeze in a Creme Brulee and a Pear Tarte Tatin with the obligatory stickies and finished with coffees. Great food - not too crowded, fantastic staff. What's to not like?

The food there really is fantastic. If they can make baby carrots taste divine, they got it done. A really great layout and a great atmosphere for dining. Don't get carried away with your entrees, meals and beverages though. This place can pack a punch when the bill arrives. Four of us clocked up a $400 bill. You have to try the Asian eggs with sweet chilli sauce and crispy 🥓 Last time we were there I tried their burger and it's a classic - nothing too fancy, just the good old beef patty, cheese and pickles, but they simply got it right. The single origin coffee is also great - even though they charge you an extra buck for it. Cool diner-y atmosphere and great service. Would recommend to anyone visiting Brisbane and looking for a hearty brunch.

The turkish influenced tomato scallop/prawn/sourdough dish was also not impressive, it was bitter and the prawn itself was not great. Service was good, the other foods that were ordered were good! A pate/parfait starter, cheeseburger and truffle fries and the brownie were all lovely.

Rather than review the food (which as an aside, is really good, well above average), I'd like to review our dining experience mainly to acknowledge the value of customer service and exceptional staff. Despite having booked, it wasn't available when we arrived so we were seated outside to wait. When, after 15 or more minutes, our drinks (which we ordered upon arrival whilst waiting for our table) hadn't arrived, we were at the point of leaving, feeling that the experience so far did not augur well for a pleasant evening. Whether this was evident or otherwise I don't know, all I can say though is that the waitress at this stage obviously identified we were less than happy, apologised profusely, took us to the first available table and bought us a complimentary starter (and our drinks). From then on, the service was impeccable. The waitress was attentive but not intrusive, knowledgeable and ensured that everything else about our experience was as good as it can be. Having run a business myself, I fully appreciate that with new and inexperienced staff, mistakes can happen. The mark of a good business (which the Billykart model is) is the way in which mistakes are dealt with and I can only say that the staff here are a true asset.

Surprised this place only has 4.3 stars since I have had many incredibly enjoyable experiences here. All aspects of the cafe and restaurant are on point: service, food, atmosphere, speed, taste, price, etc. I never once yearned for anything, nor did I ever feel it was lacking anything.
