I tried a fancy double. It arrived faster than anticipated and the patties were really deliciously caramelised . I think the smashed onion is not for me - IMHO onions are better done low and slow. The fries were another highlight - I rarely experience shoestring fries with this much crunch, so good! Service was friendly and efficient. Looking forward to returning to try the Classic.

Awesome smashed burgers, the flavours were well balanced, juicy meat and soft buns. Fries were good too, not heavy on the salt. My meal came out quickly even though it was a busy lunch service. It's a bit pricey but worth trying. Take note there's an EFTPOS surcharge if you use electronic payments. It's a gourmet burger joint, I'd say similar to Shake Shack prices.

Went for dine in with really high expectations after all the hype and rave reviews on social media. The service was prompt and polite on a rainy Sunday evening, the weather kept the crowds away. Got double fancy Oklahoma style with a side of fries (cheese and fry sauce on the side). Fries were good, fresh and crispy, sauces were great. The burger though... honestly, it underdelivered. I think this latest craze with smash patties is taken too far sometimes. Was expecting enough meat on the burger ordering it with two patties. The photo tells it all - they are so thin, I could barely taste the flavor or feel the texture. Don’t get me wrong, the burger was still delicious - fresh quality ingredients, nice sauces and the grilled onions complimented it really well. However, there wasn’t enough of that deep rich beefy flavor, the one you’re after in a good cheeseburger. I’ll give it another go, but will order three patties next time!

Finally paid a visit to Broken Hearts Burger Club and we loved every second of it. We ordered one classic triple, one double with onions, a shared regular fries and one Pepsi. The burgers were really tasty. The smashed patties were tender, juicy and caramelized on the edge, which we really appreciated. The bun was soft and light and went well with the patties. I must say their burgers have everything I want for a cheeseburger. It was so good that I had to order another one for takeaway. I do recommend having it at the restaurant, as the patties are juicier and tasted nicer. But it was still a decent burger considering it was sitting in a box packed away in a bag for 30 mins before I had it. The fries were as good as fries can get. We also loved the fact that their menu was pretty straight forward and simple, which made it easier for people like me and my partner, who have trouble making a decision. And that’s how I knew their burgers would be great. Regardless of the amount of customers there were, the quality of their burgers was fairly consistent. As for the service, we thought it was brilliant. The staff who served us was really friendly and nice, despite how busy they were. They were really organized and the food was served in a timely fashion. All in all, we really enjoyed the food and had a really fabulous time dining at the place. It is now officially my fave smashed burger place and will def go back for more.

I ordered a double with some fries and a shake. Quite expensive but there was a lot of hype about the place online, so I was looking forward to it. On my first bite, I noticed the patties were smashed thin and had great flavour. Unfortunately, the rest of the burger was very greasy, so I wasn't able to enjoy it fully. It was love at first bite, and I've been pining for round 2. First tried a Broken Hearts Burger Club burger at one of their pop-ups last year, and have been pumped to visit their new permanent store. Can confirm I’m still fully in love. Brought the wife this time and she’s onboard too! Our order: * Classic double $13 + Oklahoma style (smashed grilled onion) $2 * Fancy single $11 - classic + lettuce, tomato, onion * Cheesy fries for sharing $12 + fry sauce $2 * Biscoff shake (secret menu) $8.50? I'd previously tried a classic double so this time wanted to get the Oklahoma variation, and the taste was as good as I remembered. The fancy option was nice too and I appreciated these few variations on the classic. That's pretty much all the options you'll get though in this tight and laser focussed menu. There are additions being considered, but you can be sure nothing will hit the menu until it's been perfected to their high standards and can be made to work within their finely tuned processes. I also loved the Biscoff shake - it's not on the menu but if you know to ask for it you might get lucky. Not too sweet, and with plenty of biscuit chunks throughout. Pairs really well with mouthfuls of burger. The fries were pretty good too but if anything the lack of a plain fries option for the sharing size is one thing I'd change. The fry sauce is a good option to dip your fries in, and towards the end of my meal I even tried dipping my burger in just a little bit - it was a spur of the moment thing but I could be onto something there!

Believe the hype!! Been wanting to get here for a long time, and when I found myself in Morningside around lunchtime I jumped at the chance to check out Broken Hearts. I had a Double Fancy, Miss20 had a Single Classic, and we shared a serve of fries. Burgers were EXCELLENT!! Genuinely faultless, absolutely loved them, and we polished them off quickly. Fries were a great side, crispy & crunchy - next time we'll try one of the sauces to dip them in. Service was friendly, and our food came out quickly. We'll definitely be back!!

We were greeted at the counter by a dude who was lovely and made sure we were aware of the current wait time. They were super busy but still super nice. Order; I got the fancy single, wife got the single smash fancy style. Flavours 5/5 incredibly fresh, quality and appetizing. Pickles plentiful if that's your thing. Potato buns are freshly steamed. Cheese on chips freshly melted. Jalepnos make a great addition Milkshakes lovely. I got lime wife got strawberry a 5 just for having lime on the menu. Definitely recommend making the trip! If you decide to do the triple would highly recommend fancy style with lettuce and tomato really breaks the flavours apart and sets it off.

One of the best burger in Brisbane!! Very easy to customize your burger to different size in different range. Regularly they will have special milk shakes and thick shakes to order from. I recommend triple the regular burger. Wait time is a little bit long and there’s limited parking and limited seatings available.

These burgers are phenomenal! They’re cooked to perfection, they’re juicy, cheesy, delicious. Despite their appearance they’re not overly greasy either. And those pickles… OMG. I want to snack on them all day. The french fries are perfect, they’re a nice light accompaniment with just the right amount of salt. And my chocolate shake was super creamy, just heavenly when matched with the rest of the meal. If you’ve ever seen the movie “The Founder”, this place is very reminiscent of 1950’s McDonalds!

Although I think the fries we ordered were supposed to have jalapeños on top but it didn't have any and the other table's did. Great burger, one of the best I've had. I love the simplicity of the menu, very different from most burger places. The chips are normally a bit soggy though, and the menu is a bit overpriced for the amount you get. You could easily spend $20 for lunch and still be hungry.

Got the 2x triple Oklahoma classics with 2 servings of fries and shakes was $58! For $18 each the burgers were the size of a bacon deluxe from hungry jacks so big enough for a lunch but not for a dinner as the smash patties are minuscule and 3 patties are equivalent to 1 regular patty from any other burger joint in the Moreton Bay region. Fries are cooked Maccas style where they still look like they haven’t been cooked long enough. Overall 3 stars burgers are delicious but too small, fries tastes nice but look undercooked and shakes tasted good no complaints there.

You can ruin the best hamburger in the world with salad, if you want! But if you are into west coast US Style Smash Burgers, you cannot go wrong with a Classic double & fries @BHBC. The Oklahoma option is great, the sweet soft thin sliced onions under that beautiful pattie & gooey cheese is a mouthful of heaven. OMG, the Lime shake! Ok ok, I am working my way through the menu, but the team at BHBC are fantastically engaging & really proud of every burger that get out of the kitchen. Seems when busy the little things get skipped. Really tasty burgers no question, but with 9 staff clogging up a tiny kitchen the confusion is clear to see with 6 left hands and a few right hands trying to be quick. Yet no one clearing tables to let more in. Same as the rest, soggy undercooked chips become overpriced when they are not crisp as expected. Burger that is thrown in the wrap is underwhelming as customers dining in overhear preference go to rushing out delivery riders from a service that charges you over the odds to kill your dine in loyal base.Good luck with the expansion plans.

It doesn't try to be anything overly fancy, just simple ingredients done really well, resulting in very tasty burgers. Fries were crispy and the fry sauce is definitely worth getting with them too :) the shake options were good, would love a caramel option but the strawberry was excellent. Since BHBC has opened, I have visited a little too often. The food is consistent & always incredible, fit-out is cute and spotless, & the team are always friendly and helpful. Have ordered directly through the restaurant several times and tried ordering via Doordash over the weekend. Long story short, the Doordash driver grabbed the wrong order and delivered me a strawberry milkshake instead of my burger (after waiting over an hour). When i rang BHBC to ask about the mixup (was a driver mistake, as my burger was still sitting there waiting), they were so amazing in cooking me a fresh burger with chips and the owner even delivered it personally to my house. Seriously 5 stars for customer service - and as for the burger... brilliant. Perfectly balanced meat and cheese, one of my favourite spots for a burger. Try the fancy double!

Absolutely perfect smash burgers! I've tried the regular, fancy and Oklahoma, all tops! One pattie is not too big, so good for those who want a burger but not a giant one - if you want more just get more patties! Shakes are solid and tasty hot fries. I've been three times since they've opened, the wait time has been improving even with the increased demand so big props to their work on this. If you want instant food, go to a fast food joint, but if you want an awesome burger, this is the place for you.

Ordered food via the Bopple app and drove to store 15 minutes after ordering. Was informed at that time that our food would be another 30 minutes. The app didn’t make us aware of the wait times prior to proceeding with order otherwise would have given it a miss as we had young kids in the car with us, made the decision to just forget about dinner and just blow the money lesson learned and drive back home 14klms and 17 mins drive away. Once we got home and unloaded kids got the message the food was ready( which was earlier than expected wait time)Made the decision to drive back to the shop and grab it as these burgers were recommended to me by a friend. As for the burger it was good and I enjoyed it, the fries were disappointingly cold and hard, perhaps they had been cooked and packed before the burger or maybe that’s cause of the time it took me to get back to the store. When their wait times for food are so long maybe they should pack the fries as you come to collect your order. Anyway things that take long to get and seem to have a massive wait should blow your socks off. This was a ho hum experience. And unless you’re prepared for a very very very long wait I would avoid. Our local coffee shop uses Bopple and their store app tells you of current wait times so you can make the decision prior to ordering. Something this business should adopt as from reading other reviews the waiting and delays seems to be the biggest issue. Don’t like to trash business as they are having a go, but the wait times will cruel this business in the long run. I’m indifferent at this stage if I would return or not, Benz in Miller, Betty’s burgers can all turn their food out way quicker which is important. EDIT: have since given these guys ago again twice and have been really pleased with the food. Maybe my first experience was a rare one or an exceptionally busy night. Lesson learned sometimes give them another shot and she how they perform. Really enjoyed my burger and shakes n subsequent visits will upgrade my stars to 4

It was okay. 30min wait for 2 burgers and fries but was kind of expected as they were quite busy. There Fancy burgers weren't really that flavoursome to be honest. The Feisty fries were warmish and didn't have the diced jalapeños mentioned in the menu. Maybe all these things were lacking because they were under the pump. However, good service. Overall okay. Wouldn't plan to go back but if by some odd chance, hopefully the food would be better second time round.

Great Burgers, Average Prices If you've ever been to an In-N-Out Burger in California, you'll appreciate this joint. Simple and great tasting burgers with a basic menu. Burger prices a bit on the pricey side for what you get, but still appears to be a winning formula. Could do with some music inside their shop for a bit of ambience. Honoured to write a review and am sure many more five star reviews will follow. From the first bite, you can tell that every part of the burger was meticulously planned to complement each other. The buns are so soft but still lightly crispy and the pickles are just the right amount of sweet without overpowering the rest of the burger. The patty itself is out of this world, so juicy and soft yet really flavourful. My only complaint is that they aren't open closer to where I live!

Amazing!!! Best burgers you can get. There is quite a long wait time, first time I went I waited 50 minutes, second time waited 40 minutes for orders with 2 burgers, but was definitely worth it. The only suggestions I would have are the dine-in area is quite drab, pretty packed and the walls are bare and there's no background music to create a vibe. However the burgers are the best I've ever had so definitely would recommend if you've got some time to wait.

Best burgers in Brisbane. A new business to Morningside (at time if writing) and a welcome addition to the local community. Serving amazing LA-style smashed burgers and excellent, crisp cheesy fries. Great atmosphere and customer service so far. The staff did very well to get down the wait times after being absolutely under the pump for the first could of weeks. Only suggestion would be to add tap or bottled beer/alcoholic beverages: 1. For the margin and 2. For the customers. However, they may be waiting on full approval of a liquor license still so apologies if it's in process already. Go try it.

These guys have perfected the smash burger. Great quality ingredients and attention to detail makes BHBC an absolute joy to eat. Everyone was very friendly when I picked up my burger and there was zero wait time (6pm on a Wednesday). The online ordering system worked perfectly. Better than just good in terms of burger experience. Bun was just so soft and patty was delicious. We ordered both classic and fancy. Display menu didn't really describe the difference and staff didn't explain so we ordered both!! Pickles and sauce were a good balance. Overall burgers were delish. Price point awesome. Great value for money. Only reason I've left 3 star was service was non existent. Self service is a great idea given the price point. However, if I dine in I like at least a smile or a hello or anything? Atmosphere felt pretty awkward and the four staff were all stone cold faced. When we left we made sure to say thank you and goodbye... twice. No answer from anyone. I'm not expecting much from fast food burger joint but we call it hospitality for a reason. Maybe this is why it's called Broken Hearts Burger Club? Yewww. Order off Bopple to avoid awkward silences.

Heard good things about this place and wanted to give it a try. Given the small size of the restaurant and no windows the noise echoed very loudly and made for a hard time time listening and a poor experience. The food took over 35 minutes to come which is just not good enough for a restaurant with a limited menu. When my food showed up my fries were quite cold and soggy. The restaurant decor was quite basic and could do with some paintings or colour. Given the popularity of the restaurant I recommend to look into moving into a bigger venue. The food was relatively good next time I eat the food I will opt for the takeaway option. Broken hearts burger club provided a delightful and delectable hand-smashed burger. I myself got a delicious Fancy Tripple Oklahoma style (with onions), a Tripple pattied smash burger with cheese, pickles, tomato, lettuce, burger sauce and two lightly buttered and toasted buns. Service was very quick and they also offer various sides of fries and an assortment of shakes. The only shortcoming I would note would be the prices are a little on the expensive side. However, despite this I would have to rate this as one of the best burgers I have had in the Brisbane area and look forward to returning soon. Thanks for a delicious treat!

Crispy but juicy beef patties, creamy mayo-based burger sauce, off-set by some tangy pickles all held inside a steamed, pillowy soft bun! You can also go an Oklahoma style with onions being smashed into the pattie or a 'fancy' which includes some lettuce and tomato as well. The fries and shakes are fries and shakes... Never the less, an essential accompaniment to one of Brisbane's best burgers at the moment.

Definitely recommend ordering online for pickup ahead of time, but when you do get the burgers and cheesy chips yummmmoooo! One of the best smash burgers in Brissy for sure! Can’t wait to go back and try their shakes too. There was a big queue on a Friday evening and we ordered anyway knowing there was a 50 minutes wait. We went for an arvo walk around the area and did wait for another 20 minutes outside the store - however they were friendly and apologetic. They’re still relatively new - so hopefully a speedier process is in the horizon. Burger and chips were fresh and hot when received. Chips were slightly soggy by the time we got into it but understandable since it was in the box for 10 or so minutes and it was steamy. The cheese sauce made it all better tho.

Buns were really nice and it was clear these guys have put a lot of thought into their recipes. I was a bit disappointed that the chocolate shake appeared to be made with milo, had a very strong milo taste and you could see the bits of milo in the shake. I also noticed a big container of Milo on the counter. I recommend renaming if this is the case. Cheese sauce was nice but fries were very underwhelming flavor wise. Definitely needs some more creative seasoning but acknowledge that these guys focus on plain and simple ingredients. Portions were generous, neither of us could finish our sides. The standout for me was the service. Our burgers, fries and shakes were brought out in 3 separate runs by 3 different people and all staff were friendly and apologetic about the (quite short) wait. It's very rare to see passionate service like this nowadays.

Had the fancy and fancy double nothing in the burger really overpowered one another which is something I love oh so much most of the places I go to it’s either potent sauce that doesn’t let you enjoy what your eating or just a weird concoction of flavours that don’t really drive it home for me but this burger was different. You can taste each ingredient in a flurry of flavour and everything has its place only complaint is that the cheese is really viscous and oily and I found myself finishing a bite and having my mouth still lathered in cheese 🧀 but some people enjoy that I suppose. Overall pretty good wouldn’t go getting cheesy fries 🍟 just stick to the normal fries and enjoy the burger
