Gem in the valley! Husband and I needed a late lunch and stumbled across Evita. We ordered the octopus and prawn for entree, steak and cassava chips for mains, and cheesecake for dessert. All dishes was so simply but beautifully prepared with the freshness of ingredients highlighted in each dish. The cake was a large serve for one but good to share between two! Good place for groups too. Will be coming back!

Good dining experience, great cocktails and friendly, attentive service. The interior and exterior of Evita is beautiful and so amazing that it's in a heritage listed building. We ordered the tuna ceviche, octopus, and bone marrow for starters, which were all really tasty. The picanha, patacones and seasonal veggies for our mains were also nicely done. Favourite cocktail has to be the original pisco sour, which was recommended by our server.

Beautiful Argentinian restaurant with amazing food and excellent wine! The picanha was one of the best steaks I've had but if you had to choose, the lobster is a must. It's to die for! Evita is raising the bar of Brisbane's food scene. This is exactly what we need! Definitely coming back.

Wowsers, absolutely delicious!!! Hands down my favourite restaurant in Brisbane!!! This restaurant has left the best impressions! Very hospitable and friendly hosts, delicious dishes, beautifully presented food, a wide range of vino and wonderful tasting desserts! The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Their tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection!!! Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Brisbane! The venue is great for large groups and also intimate date night! The overall experience at Evita was amazing. The restaurant itself is beautiful and elegant. Service was fast and all of the waitstaff were attentive. The food and drinks were a culinary delight. Super keen to come back and bring more friends and family along. ✨

Place is spacious. Great food and friendly and professional staff. Prices are a little bit high but worth it for a special occasion. We ordered the empanadas, chorizo, lam ribs, pichana, patacones, a taste of all desserts and pisco for a drink. Everything was delicious!

Very beautiful venue with lovely staff, however the food doesn’t match the experience. We ordered oysters and empanadas for entree. The oysters were served in icy WATER.. so half of them were a mix of water and the vinegarette and the oysters were frozen to the shell. The empanadas were ok, not much flavour. For shared main, we had medium rare sirloin with a side of seasonal wood fired vegetable and cassava chips. The steak was enjoyable as were the sides. My only complaint is that the wood fired veggies included baby carrots that were still hard. I was worried that I’d cut a piece and it would go flying towards the next table! I think there is a lot of potential, however they’ve only just opened and have a lot of room for improvement. Congratulations on the opening! It can only go up from here.

The best steakhouse in Brisbane I have tried so far. Fit out is incredible and the presentation of the food is amazing. Try as well the empanadas, octopus and the chorizo! Def will come back to try more dishes.

I went to evita on Thursday night craving of some Argentinian flavor and my experience exceeded my expectations! The chimichurri is authentic, the empanadas are better than my grandmother's!, the meat is a delight and all flavors remind me of beautiful moments in Argentina. The wine selection is top quality too! The venue is located in a beautiful heritage building and the decoration is exquisite, paying great attention to detail with very good taste. I can recommend it 100%!!! Definitely coming back ASAP!

Great fit-out and service was excellent. Sirloin, Lamb skewers and the salad were top picks. The menu is appealing on paper too. Overall the food and drinks however, didn't meet our expectations. We found the serving sizes to be unsatisfactory. At a pretty price point of $300 of food for 4 people, we all went for cheeseburgers after... The empanadas were soggy and bland, sitting atop a lukewarm unseasoned salsa. The octopus was overcooked and the bread was over toasted. Both were uncomfortable to eat. Cassava chips were still raw and weren't seasoned. The cocktails were poor quality. At a $19-22 price point, the bartender needs to be tasting these every time before they go out.

Just got home from dinner at Evita. Meal was excellent with service to match. Oysters, prawns, tomahawk steak all as shared plates were amazing. Surprised I cannot find this restaurant on Trip advisor or Open Table. Will definitely be back.

Had a first date with someone special here... made our experience all the more special, incredible food, wine and the service was warm and really down to earth, while still highly professional. The manager was a gun... just understood the little things. Actually just chanced upon it, but will definitely be back.

Evita is a beautiful venue and the staff were nice, although they seemed a little unsure and awkward, perhaps as it's still a new restaurant they are still working through growing pains. The highlight was the king prawns. Some things could do with better presentation - ie the lamb just came out in a messy pile on a plate with no accompaniments (jus, gravy etc), same with the tomohawk steak. For the steep price you pay, you would expect something to accompany the meat like you get at other high-end restaurants. The mushroom ribs were awful, there are definitely better vego options out there, the texture and taste were horrible. The sides are also very meagre for the price - we were a table of 6 and asked for fries and roasted vegetables and got one teeny bowl of each - the waiter definitely could have upsold us to get extras but didn't so we thought that was very strange. We got the dessert sampler and they were all nice. I'd give this a 3.5 out of 5 if I could, but as I cant I've rounded up to a 4 - a nice place, but definitely room to improve.

Came here for my birthday and was not disappointed! I loved the restaurant fitout, particularly that it wasn’t too dark or too loud. Staff were friendly and attentive, even noting it was my birthday and giving us glasses of Cava on the house to celebrate. The food was amazing, particularly the seafood. The prawns were an absolute standout, perfectly seasoned and cooked. The bone marrow and octopus were also highlights. The dishes were well staggered and my only regret was I couldn’t fit any more in. The dulce de Leche cheesecake for dessert was so delicious and I also noted they had a good selection of non alcoholic options for my husband. We’ll definitely be back.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Evita with friends who had travelled from overseas and interstate to reminisce about life. What a setting and the food made it a perfect night. The Malbec was perfect for the Argentinian fare - starting with oysters, the grilled butterflied prawns, Alaskan king crab legs and the cervicae tasting plate followed by the T-bone and picanha to finish it off with lashings of grilled seasonal veges, corn and those tasty chips! Service was really friendly and attentive and we felt so at home. Give it a go peeps. It's a business worth supporting!

Wow, what a restaurant! Food was delicious, the service was outstanding (thanks Barbara!), the cocktails were top notch, and the music created a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back. It’s hard to believe they’ve only been open 6 weeks!

I came here with a group of friends and would 100% recommend. We ordered a total of eleven dishes to share, and the highlights were definitely the lamb, the lobster, the chorizo and the empanadas. Their extensive drink selection was also quite nice, including their delicious mocktails. We also ordered their dessert platter, and the staff made it a really fun experience for our group. All the food we tasted, we enjoyed and will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes. The service by all the wait staff was really great and the venue had a really nice vibe. Great place to go to for group events so you can try a bit of everything :)

We had the most amazing dinner with fantastic service! The empanadas, bone marrow, t-bone, trout and cassava chips, to mention some of the dishes, was absolutely amazing and the wagu still making my mouth watering, even tho we rolled out of there!! Don't forget to have a pisco cocktail and some of their great wines to enhance the flavours even more.

Pre birthday lunch with friends we indulged in the Saturday long lunch set menu with ‘bottomless’ wine, beers and sangrias. I can confirm that everything on the menu was spectacular, tasty and melt in the mouth. My favourite was the ceviche or prawns with caviar which was a delicious way to begin. The rump steak was cooked perfectly and delicious. Service was impeccable and generous as were the servings and the drinks service. The venue is spacious and modern and very stylish and even the bathrooms are spotlessly clean. The online booking service was very thorough and followed up promptly when I hadn’t received email confirmation of the booking. A faultless dining experience in the valley. We will return definitely.

I have been 3 times already, all of them special occasions, and it does not disappoint. The service is ON POINT, typical Argentinian worm and friendly customer treatments. The food, please don’t leave without having yuca, empanadas and a good piece of chorizo and steak. The manager Andres, puts special attention to our table. Disappointed! While the place is modern and the service is good, the food is not argentinean at all! The steak is not cook the way is done in Argentina that is what it gives it particular flavour, the empanadas base is not the tradicional one or a enough close version....and I could keep going. The wine selection is not the best and definitely overpriced.

We went to Evita last night to celebrate my partner handing in his thesis for his masters and it was amazing! The fit out of the restaurant is stunning and the menu is fabulous! We had the empanadas and provoleta to start and the T bone with yucca fries and salad for mains and the food is incredible. We will definitely be coming back, the team is lovely and super helpful - I cannot believe they’ve only been open a week!
