We had an amazing afternoon and evening here. First of all we had a drink from the bar then did a round of putt putt (12 holes, lots of fun with the kids) and then we ordered a charcuterie board, cheese platter and some pizzas. They've set up an outdoor area with a giant screen for the Australian Open (complete with totem tennis) bean bags, and pretty lighting. We relaxed while the kids played and all grazed on the food. You'd imagine that being a golf course in St Lucia that service here would be pretty good but it was exceptional. The wait staff were friendly, helpful, efficient and just a pleasure to interact with. The manager told me about future community events they have planned and it sounded really exciting so we'll definitely be back (probably very soon because the idea of open air tennis on the lawn this fortnight is very appealing).

My husband and I enjoyed lunch at this restaurant on our first visit. The food was delicious and beautifully cooked (we both had snapper with sweet corn puree and bell peppers and a side of chips followed by a light tiramisu). We particularly appreciated the lovely outlook over the golf course, the greenery in the restaurant and its open, airy design. The service was very good. I recommend this venue for a special occasion as the prices are fairly high.

Dropped in on impulse after visiting family nearby and was pleasantly surprised - great dining space options. Two of us shared a Marinara pizza and chips - more than enough for us. Pizza flavours were sensational and chips were heavily seasoned (in a good way) and hot. Huge range of wines and beers - had black IPA from Fixation off the tap which was a surprise. Wife was recommended Yarra Burn for sparkling - great bar service. Noticed plenty of great local beers in the fridges too: 4 Hearts, Sea Legs just two I recall. Wasn’t super busy so our meals came out in about 5 minutes - too quick to enjoy our drinks first so will hold back ordering until ready to eat next time. Looking forward to returning with interstate relatives at Christmas.

Really enjoyed lunch at the hundred acre bar/ restaurant. The wait staff were cordial and attentive despite being quite busy. The food was delicious. We ordered a number of share plates. The calamari was particularly good...a bit disappointed that they had exhausted their supply of zucchini flowers. The ambience and outlook are great.

Had a good experience with good service from staff that served us. Need to scan QR code on food menu for beverage menu which interestingly didn't have a wine list but was given a hard copy menu pretty quick. Miscommunication that bar menu food will not be served in the dining room area despite the online menu including everything. The manager was very accommodating and apologetic. Food although expensive was delicious. Pizza while tasty was a tad dry for our liking. Will be back though but might try the bar area.

Lovely lunch with friends at Hundred Acre Bar on Sunday afternoon. Our booking was at short notice but we had a nice table overlooking the golf course which was a lovely surprise. Food was good with choices a bit out of the ordinary. Good service, gracious staff. Nice afternoon.

Literally the best food I have ever had at any club house. It can easily compete with many other fine dinings in Brisbane. The view is amazing, the price matches the quality, but we had to wait 30 minutes till the first dish came out. Considering the price point, I think some complementary bread and butter before the meal would be good. It’s a great place for a family dinner or a date.

Lovely food, nice atmosphere, but service wasn’t great - it was slow and inconsistent. Maybe they were short staffed tonight. Service didn’t match the meal/drinks price tag in the restaurant. Members of our party left the table to go up to the top bar to order drinks. Grabbed my own cracked pepper from the staff prep area, as it wasn’t offered when our meals came out.

The Striploin steaks and gnocchi were sensational and our waitress was probably the best we’ve had in forever. Table had a great view over the golf course. Left feeling full and the whole family had a great dinner. We will be back even though it’s on the other side of town.

Excellent service, amazing food! 100% loved it and the dessert! All made in house and tasted heavenly! The dessert brings your palate through sweet, salty, bitter and umami before cleansing it with the light sorbet The juicy #7marbling on the angus steak cooked to perfection, paired well with the dutch carrots. Char grilled to a medium rare, the meat melts in your mouth, savor the buttery sweet taste! Our server Eden, made our dining experience amazing! They were very knowledgeable about all the dishes and attentive to our needs!

The restaurant was short staffed due to Covid so we ended up eating in the bar. The steak and chips was pretty good but the Caesar salad was awful. My fiancé, who eats everything, barely ate any of the salad. We had 2 Caesar salads and one of them had 2 anchovies in it…not listed on the menu. Seemed like a mistake and was a bit gross. Meals didn’t come out at the same time. I imagine the restaurant would be better.

Popped in Sunday afternoon with the family for a light dinner. We were also curious about the new menu makeover. We had a margherita pizza, hot chips and warm olives. Chips and olives were okay (as they should be) but the $25 pizza was a disappointent. Come on guys, you have a wood fired oven! Base was bland and after much forensic digging, located a few droplets of tomato based sauce tucked away under some of the cheese. Also, food was delivered without any napkins or side plates, I had to fish around the coffee station at the bar to find some small napkins. We'll give it another chance as the venue is stunning and maybe there are some teething problems...

Great place for a cold drink following a round of golf, especially as you overlook the 18th hole. It does not matter what you drink, very few things beat the taste of your drink after a hard day whacking away at a little white ball with a metal (or carbon fibre) stick as you try and get it in a gopher hole.

we came here for a succulent wreath workshop with ross and bec which was fantastic. we were so surprised to walk into such a beautiful bar and space. the staff were really friendly and the drinks reasonably priced. the bar food is great too - go for the the sweet potato chips. I do wish they had one more vegetarian option on the bar menu besides chips and olives.

We had the lemon meringue tart, raspberry cheesecake and choc cake - they were all really delicious and definitely worth trying! Nice place to eat. Napkins were so soft you could happily clean your face all night. The bug and prawn plate was delicious and quality of it was high. We ordered a pizza like the bulk of the people attending the restaurant as it was easily the best value for money and we weren't disappointed. We order the zucchini from the earth section of the menu. It would definitely be something you'd order for someone you're not fond of, as it was tasteless and hard to get through. For the quiet night it was, we struggled to get a refill of water even though we were sitting 2m from the bottle station. We asked for a dessert menu at the end which we didn't see after 10min so we got up to pay and leave. After we paid we were chased down by the waitress that didn't bring the menu so we could pay the second time. Overall average experience for the price point.

From the beginning of the booking process right through to very end, there was good communication, everything was well organised, the food was delicious and the staff were so helpful and happy and really made us feel welcome. We also love having afternoon drinks outside overlooking the golf course, it honestly shows off at how beautiful Brisbane is. Cold and excellent draft beer selection but the menu was disappointing, many of the options have a heavy batter (barremandi, chips and zucchini) and was too greasy! Salad was fresh and would order this again but just need more bar options besides pizza and they need to rethink their batter:( as it’s possible to batter yummy bar bites without it dripping w grease. Lovely vibe, easy to relax w cold beers or a wine and watch your kids playing putt putt.

Recently held my mothers 80th birthday celebration dinner at the rooftop part of the restaurant. Could not fault the staff from planning to the actual night. Celia was brilliant with helping me plan and Sarah and Vanessa were both professional and lovely on the night. Because of this, I was able to relax and enjoy the occasion. They explained everything in detail and there were no hidden costs, everything was very upfront and straightforward. The food was divine and the wine and beer top quality. We had a range of ages and they all enjoyed themselves. Some may feel it is on the expensive side but after a lot of research I thought they were reasonable and their service exceptional. I would highly recommend this venue for your special occasion. Our daughter also had her wedding at Hillstone and again we could not fault them.

The new menu is absolutely amazing, the wygu steak was easily one of the best steaks I have eaten. The other guys had the swordfish, a duck pancake pizza, and the salmon. Which everyone agreed was outstanding. Entree where the freshest natural oysters I have eaten in a long time. Deliscious!!! This place is a must dine, the service is top notch and the staff know the whole menu like the back of their hand. 5star food, exceptional fine dining service in a super relaxed environment over looking the beautiful st Lucia golf course. With a great wine selection and a lot of nice beers on tap, it’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the highest quality of food and views. I hope everyone gets to experience this place.

How do you write a review on a evening at the 100 Acres Bar and Restaurant if the Food & Beverage Manager at Hillstone St Lucia Golf Links and Hundred Acre Bar, Hundred Acre Bar Supervisor and Staff has planned your evening from the moment you walk in at reception to the moment you exit the venue. Just a short summary of our experience on Old Years Eve. Arriving at reception my partner received the most petit bouquet of red and yellow roses and we were taken to the roof top for Sundowners (French Champagne) and then the surprise did not end, without asking my favourite oysters were served and more Champagne to celebrate the positive response to a very important question that was asked We were then taken down to our table where another bouquet of white roses were waiting for my lady. Needless to Say, Sarah and Sarah had worked out the menu from here on to the coffee at the end. Then the time to settle the account and I was ready to apply for a bank over draft, but once again the bill was fair in fact I have asked them to confirm it because it seemed to be low, for the service and the meals that was prepared and well-presented, The ladies that serve these meals must find it so easy to present it to their clients with pride. Well done to the Chef and the kitchen staff that prepare and present meals in that manner to awake your appetite no matter how much you have already eaten and drank How do you show gratitude to the staff that served you all night with such great service Once again Sarah and Sarah, including the kitchen back up and the support from management YOU did it again and I hope indeed that the management and other clients appreciate you as much as we do. The 110 acres has had a lot of money spent on it and it showed by the improvement in the quality of the meals & service. We have been previously for dinner but the menu that is there at present shows a lot more care than wa available previously. Wine list is impressive. Service was good but inexperienced - other than the maitre'd - he had a handle on everything happening in the restaurant. One of our party had a medical condition that required attention in the meal and this was done without any trouble at all. Very generous meals - with good quality ingredients. View is fantastic down the fairway. We will return.

We held our clubMini Queensland Christmas party in The Pavillion last Saturday afternoon and we were so impressed. The venue is superb, food and drinks menu delicious and staff were friendly and accommodating. This was an event planned over 3 months and Celia, Sarah and Ryan were very helpful in the pre-planning of the appropriate area and a personalised drink and food menu. We will definitely be returning for future events!

My lovely manager organised a staff Xmas party here for the team and it was wonderful. The chefs were informed ahead of time that a couple of us were vegetarian and vegan and they went to so much trouble to match our meals to everyone else's set menu. The food was wonderful; fresh, well prepared and creative. I live only 5 minutes down the road and I have to say I never stepped foot in this place because their regular menu never seemed to have vegan options, hopefully that will change, because the food was awesome and I'd love to go back for a casual sunday sesh.

Great views, supportive staff and multiple seating options, makes this an ideal place to be with friends and family. The bar does have some very good options when it come to drinks. You can also have some good quick-bite options along with it. A separate area is being catered by the restaurant staff and services.

The bar is very stylish and has a great atmosphere. Also a big plus that you can take dogs. If you’re there for the cocktails I’d go somewhere else as the bartenders need basic training. For instance, they don’t ask how you’d like your martini but just make a standard one. A proper bartender wouldn’t do that. Also the bartender didn’t know what a Dark N Stormy was so I explained it was rum and ginger beer with lime. She then made me a drink with rum and ginger ale... I would go for the vibe and a beer but stay clear of the cocktails.

With our family of six, we had brunch with most of us ordering the Benedict this morning. Compared to previous outings at the hundred acre bar (its a bit of a family tradition when we all come together), the current interpretation, based on a Brioche bun, was somewhat underwhelming. Sorry for having to say this and appreciate this only one reviewer's take (albeit there was consensus around the table regarding the Benedict). Thought the new expansion was fantastic, along with the attentive service and surrounds. Based on this morning's experience, we'll likely swap to the 11.00am sitting (Lunch menu).

The interior with a profound and warm atmosphere and neat table setting are impressive. Starting with fresh champagne with apple scent and refreshing flavor, we ordered homemade bread and fried squid as entrees. When you spread the roasted garlic that comes with the bread and eat it with butter, the softness and flavor dance in your mouth. When eaten together with fried squid and red chili, the greasy feeling disappears, and the taste is revived by the combination of crispy tempura and spicy flavor. The main menu, pumpkin risotto filled with truffles, is a new menu item, but it is unfamiliar at first because it is the first time I ate it. However, using the original taste of the ingredients, the fantastic truffle with rice grains, pumpkin, seeds and grilled cheese captured the novelty. It is a luxurious taste you can't find anywhere else. The seafood pasta contains fresh mussels and king prawns, and the spicy flavor is the point. Not to mention the carbonara, the saltiness of the savory egg yolk and chorizo is harmonious and soft. The tenderloin steak is medium-rare, my favorite level of perfection, and it comes with roasted potatoes that feel a lot of care, truffle butter, green sauce, and salt. The meat is fresh, tender and perfect. The potatoes on the side are so good that you want to order them separately. The salad with rocket, cheese, nuts and pears also has a sweet and savory taste that goes well with the bitterness of rocket. Green beans have a crunchy texture and lightness, making them a great side dish. After dinner, we ordered tiramisu and long black for dessert. For tiramisu, the bread filled with coffee jelly and coffee, and the tiramisu cream were really soft and not too sweet. This is a satisfying dinner that lacks five stars in all aspects of the restaurant's atmosphere, taste, and service.
