The drive here was curious and fun... off the main road, head down a dirt road for a short bumpy trip, a small water crossing, till you meet tarmac again... trust your GPS it is not leading you down the wrong path... I did the self guided tour, $15, includes a great 15min movie, the Jaques family put together, displayed in a home cinema... great set up. Really informative, light hearted, then the family share their challenges faced to get where they are today, over a 40+ yr span.... the Jaques are amazingly strong and inspirational... "never give up"! Coffee was delicious, menu is small, but offers something for everyone. I now have a new appreciation for coffee Update... my GPS did play tricks... after departing the coffee farm, I watched mutliple cars go right, opposite way I came in... so I decided to see where it lead.... it was a quick, tarmac drive back to the main road... I actually preferred my off the beaten track adventure, which I found coming from the north... it added to the experience, just don't go this way in the wet season 🙃

Finally managed to stop by for a visit. The place was busier than we expected but managed to get a table on the deck. Took awhile to queue to place our order, and again for the food to come out, but again, the place was packed. Coffee and the food were amazing and excellent value, just needed a few more berries and another scoop of ice cream to have enough for both waffles, but apart from that, everything was great

A coffee farm and cafe. We did the self-guided tour where we watched a video on the history of coffee and how Jaques Coffee Plantation came to be. It was interesting, look out for their subtle jokes. Then we went through and looked at the machinery they use to pick the coffee cherries that they designed themselves and looked at some of their coffee plants. Then we sampled of their coffee liquors and had a coffee. The cafe is a nice place to sit at and enjoy.

We didn’t end up doing the tour, but enjoyed a lovely lunch at the cafe and undoubtedly amazing coffee. It’s also quite a scenic drive on our way to the plantation, which is much bigger than I’ve imagined. You can buy some roasted coffee beans and other local products from the shop.

I have driven past the turnoff to this place SO many times. Finally called in yesterday. So glad I did. A delightful oasis of lush green gardens surrounding the cafe/restaurant. Top quality food and drinks. Food so good I forgot to take a photo before starting to eat it! Had Coconut prawns. Lovely salad and good quantity for price. Covered parking, clean toilets, very easy access for all, and small shop with liquers, honeys, and lots of other things. I will be back.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly service, clean. Greeted at the door by an adorable old dog. My partner had lemon salmon and it was tasty. I got the maple bacon egg burger - indulgent, tasty and lovely bun. Coffee also fantastic and the little helicopter tours look really cool!

Great coffee plantation/restaurant to visit if you are visiting Cairns. It was an easy drive out and easy to find. We paid a few extra dollars to watch the Jaques story which was great to get personal story and understand the coffee process. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. In the restaurant you have the option of sitting inside or out side on the deck. We chose outside to enjoy the beautiful garden and we could see the coffee plantation and smell beans being processed. "Delish". So it was perfect spot to sit and enjoy a coffee of course and a bite to eat. We did enjoy the shopping experience where we could purchased some Jaques Coffee and Liquors to bring back to Tasmania and I was very grateful to learn that you can order Jaques Coffee online that also was a quick and seamless process. Beans ordered online Sunday night & bags of coffee were delivered Tuesday morning to Tasmania. Cant beat that kind of service! Look forward to hopefully visiting again one day but will certainly be ordering more coffee online in the meantime.

Nice place to visit if you’re wondering in the area. They have a small “cinema” where you can watch a short documentary about their coffee plantation. The movie is very well done and quite informative. Coffee is good too and you can enjoy it right next to the plantation.

Coffee lovers should not drive past without calling in. It is worth the 4 Km detour from the Kennedy Highway and is simply the best coffee in the Atherton Tablelands. They offer friendly service in a delightful outdoor setting. There is a great educational tour and even an ultralight flight option on offer.

One of the best coffee places I've been to. Very friendly staff. Delicious coffee. Very accommodating. I asked staff to grind their beans to suit my machine and they did so very patiently and professionally. Kept trying different grinds until he got the right results. Would recommend 20/10.

"Coffee is overcooked if it is bitter" they told us as they poured us a coffee, my first non-bitter coffee I think I've ever had, it was amazing! As stated by others "a must" to go to when traveling to Cairns. Pleasant people, great explanation of how coffee is farmed and outstanding produce. If you have no plans to travel to Cairns soon, do yourself a favour and order online. I am now a regular online shopper! I generally don't like coffee products eg tiramisu however I was stunned at how beautiful their coffee liqueur is. If you feel like a treat, or have coffee lover friends, order a bottle. You won't be disappointed!

For once an FNQ Tourist Attraction we can be really proud of. Really lovely people, great food and atmosphere and wonderful coffee. Billy's Segway tours are an absolute must. What a lovely patient guy and full of really interesting information all about the plantation as he took us for a riding tour all over it. The gorgeous garden setting for the eatery wasn't let down by the quality of the food. It tasted and looked as good as it does in the online pics. Can't wait to go back up for another Segway ride and a flight next time. We'll be very happy to take our friends and visitors up as well. Great Stuff.

We stopped by mid afternoon for a quick coffee. Fortunately (for us) there were still a few scones left which we devoured quickly. The coffee was SO GOOD I bought 2 packages on the way out. Honestly, I wish I had bought more. Next, I'm checking their website as I remember the kind man at the till saying they shipped coffee in Australia. whew! That's good to hear! Additional info (May, 2021) Just to confirm, I did order coffee after I returned home. (several times now) with free delivery! Just wish I could get a scone in the mail too!

(Original) 英語が出来ない僕らをスタッフの方々に温かく対応して頂き、すごく嬉しかったです。 スタッフの方々が凄く話しやすいのでアットホームな雰囲気でした！ とにかくコーヒーが美味しかったです。しっかりとした苦味の中に程よい酸味があり、深く奥行きのある味わいでした。ラテはアートが芸術的にきれいでした！ コーヒーの販売は当然していますが、ミルやカップなどコーヒーを楽しむグッズも取り扱っているので、ショッピングも楽しめます。ジェイクスのロゴが入ったミニカップがオシャレで豆やオリジナルバッグなどと一緒に購入しました。 バーガーやスープなど食事のメニューも充実していて、凄く美味しかったです。 お話を伺ったところ、今のプランテーションになるまでに大変なご苦労があったとのことでした。自然が相手ですので農園経営は決して簡単ではないと思いますが、これからも末永くますますの発展を祈念しております。 楽しい時間を本当にありがとうございました。
