This is a really nice restaurant with a fantastic range of bubble tea. The staff members were very friendly and polite. The food was delicious and came in large portions. Allow a bit more time if you come here for lunch as they get very busy but the food is totally worth waiting for.

Pretty impressed with the overall experience here. The service is fast and friendly, the food is yummy and portions are very generous 👌🏼👍🏼 . Tonight we got: • Stone Pot Mapo Tofu - a very numbing Mapo taste👌🏼 • Stone Pot Squid tentacles in brown gravy sauce - our favorite of the night 🤩 • Wonton in spicy sauce 🤤 . Everything was very good but Wifey loved the squid dish the most cos the flavour was so different to anything we'd had before 😁 . A casual Chinese restaurant with a bar and bubble tea shop combined. The food was delicious and the serving was decent. A little oily but that’s expected for the full Chinese flavour (Cantonese maybe). Just walk it off after. Everything came out together and quite timely. Let me begin by saying that this is one of the best chinese restaurants i’ve eaten at since moving to brisbane. The food, ambience, and service were absolutely amazing! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing varieties on the menu. I had the Hokkein Noodle Chicken Stir Fry for dinner. The flavours in this dish were so vibrant and the ingredients taste very fresh. The serving size was great, especially for a big eater like myself. The Red Bean Bubble Tea was very delicious and had real red beans in the bottom. Thank you! I'll be back!

I can only speak for the Bubble Tea service, as I've so far not dined in. The service for bubble tea is horrendously slow. Every time I've ordered, the average wait has been ten to fifteen minutes. The longest wait was twenty. I can understand if it's packed but this is like this every time. I can appreciate the restaurant side of things probably comes first and takes the staffs attention. But if you have a permanent counter for the drinks, it should really have a dedicated team member or two rostered to run it. The drinks are always well made and delicious, but I've had to start going elsewhere because it's just not worth the wait. I'll give it a chance again in the future, but for now I'm giving it a miss.

The only dish I would return for is the Black black dessert, it made me confused and intrigued at the same time. Great selection of quality meals to choose from while also offering a substantial selection of bubble tea types! Have returned many times for a bubble tea drink. Only downfall would be the longer waiting times when ordering – so allow time when ordering meals or bubble tea.

Food was really good even if a bit pricy. The tables were small and it’s a bit squishy in there. They do a variety of drinks including cocktails, wine, bubble tea (which is really popular it seems). Beware that if you pay by card (Credit or eftpos) it’s a 2% surcharge.

Finally got to try Lucha's hotpot dessert. The first time I came here, they ran out of dry ice and toppings and this time they ran out of dry ice again. Management need to improve their inventory management. Overall, taste is pretty good, probably best to share with 3-4 people. Can't comment on their dishes but everything looks pretty good.

tl; dr: Fab food & refreshing tea This was the only time that I've been (well, it's not been open for that long), and initial impressions are favourable. The menu is big enough to cater for unadventurous eaters (fried rice, spring rolls) and those looking for a more authentic taste of Taiwanese cuisine. We had the roast chicken and the fish fragrant aubergine, both which were v good, especially the aubergine, which was well done. The chicken would've been better if the tea flavour was stronger, but you could barely taste (or smell) it. Nevertheless, it was delicious. My only quibble with the place is the use of straws and very sturdy plastic cups for drinks, even when dining in; in this day and age of waste consciousness, especially with plastic waste, I'd like the owners to use more environmentally friendly options.

Don’t understand why there’s so many bad reviews and complaints about wait times. We got our food within 10 minutes and the restaurant was pretty busy on a Sunday night. The portion sizes were huge and worth the price (we even had leftovers to take home). Very tasty food and drinks - definitely one of the best places I’ve been to! And all the staff were so accomodating and lovely and provided an excellent service! Definitely recommend this place a lot!

We went to Lucha yesterday and the overall experience was ok. There were quite a number of customers when we got there so we got a table near the serving counter (where they store plates, cleaning products and where they serve food). It was very uncomfortable as we were tucked in a corner and having to move constantly so the staff could get into the cupboard and get cleaning supplies while we are eating. It’s just doesn’t make sense! It’s dangerous especially when hot food is passing on top of you head... We moved to another table eventually and the waitress was friendly and helped us move. But another couple was asked to sit there not long after us (and clearly by then there were many other empty seats). They had to move for the same reason... Overall, the staffs were friendly but food was average. Dinning experience was average. We are disappointed as the restaurant looks cute and modern and we were really hoping to have some good Chinese food. Unfortunately we won’t be back.

A couple of things: food came out one at a time, it's like 3.50 if you pay on a debit card and drinks took a while! Fusion Asian, mostly Southern Chinese with a twist, great location, great food and drinks. Their tea area sourced from real tea but from bags or powder, the delicate smell and taste is Gold and rare to find. The restaurant interior Decor is great but it's quite crowded. Even though the round table is available and we called to book for it, they still didn't give it to us which was a shame they could have made our experience great.

Interesting location and setup. There are many complaints on here because of service time but today, a Friday night, I think it only took 10 mins or less (which I think isn't long?). Anyways, I was kinda disappointed in the tea - it tasted really cheap and chemically (like Chatime/Gong Cha). Heeretea & Comebuy tea are still one of the top faves and even though they may be slightly more expensive, they are DEFINITELY worth going to. They taste much more authentic and less processed.

Oh no, I'm really sad that this place has some bad reviews. I've been here over 6 times recently, with different crowds including large groups - and yeah while wait times arent fast fast they arent unbearable and can't say I've had to complain. Their fried rice and S&P calamari is my favorite. Anything on their noodle menu is great too! It's a nice change eating here then just getting regular take-away.

Lu Cha is a perfect restaurant to come to for a date night or to hang with the girls. The food is amazing and tastes great. I recommend trying what I tried, including their dessert hot pot. That was to die for (make sure to leave extra room in your tummy to enjoy it). They are currently offering a vday special dessert hotpot on 14/02! The staff were very knowledgeable and they also serve bubble tea for dine-in or take-away.
