Went on Tuesday night, oh you all have to ask for the Bloody Mary oysters shots! I had tequila based! Was amazing ! Service was super friendly… even the chef delivered our meals! Just happened to be enjoying a wonderful steak on a Thursday Steak Night when Brisbane put on a light show I'll never forget. Big,big lightening storm moved through and out to sea. Magnificent and the steaks were great too.

We love going here, we used to come every Wednesday night for the special. Recently however they stopped allowing swapping any part of the meal without paying more. It's a great deal anyway, but paying an extra $5 to upgrade to sweet potato chips from white potato was a little steep. None the less the staff are friendly and meals are always nice, we try to get there early to get a seat out on the deck as Wednesday nights mussos inside is a little to loud for dinner conversation. But always great bands, and you can hear them from the deck.

Great prices for a decent feed. Not the best beer selection but the deck area is great. Look for the door next to the Irish place and head upstairs. Edit to answer response: Would be good to see something local like Ballistic, Aether or Sealegs Brewery.

I went to the Manly Deck, on a friends recommendation, looking for good live music. I was pleasantly suprised by the venue and it's atmospere on Friday night, 14 Sept. 2018. Climbing the stairs was a chore. My health could be better. Turn right and enter the main lounge. Go past the bar and turn left to find a great covered deck where conversation can happen even while the band plays. The Manly Deck is a good sized venue and the staff and patrons were all friendly, even the security people. The live music was great. Well played at a nice volume, and more than a few patrons made the area in front of the stage into a dance floor. I will happily return here again.

I would like to apologise. A Couple of weeks ago, My wife took everything from me, I had nowhere to stay. but luckily all of the kind and helpful staff looked after me, I even got to take the best number 2 of my life. I never thought I would see myself at age 38, crapping in a washing machine, but here I am. jolly good show. Also, the potato salad is astounding. LOVE THE DECK!

We were quite surprised by this place. Although the ambience and decor is a little tired, the food is fantastic! We've been for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The portions are very very generous, beautifully prepared and if you're after some hearty pub food like steaks, ribs etc, you won't be disappointed at all. We've loved all the live bands we've heard play and the prices are really well priced. Service is quick and efficient.

The Manly Deck is a block away from the waterfront. When you step into the restaurant, you are welcomed by a laid back atmosphere. There's serveal places you can sit to eat outside on the veranda or inside listening to some good entertainment from a variety of local bands. People, with no prior reservation, are welcomed to wait until there is availability for them to be seated. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouth-watering starters followed by the main course, specially designed for youngsters and adults during the day & becomes an adults domain at night. We went on a special, for a free bucket of prawns, (you heard me right FREE) the prawns we had were local, fresh & very tasty. I've been here many times & I've always had a good experience. All the foid is fresh and enjoyable. The restaurant also offers various types of drinks, the drinks are average priced & they have some great cocktails at good prices. The owner is full of warmth and thoughtful of his guests. He is always around ready to hear all types of experiences from you and the rest of the guests. The service we received from the staff was good. I highly recommend giving The Manly Deck restaurant a go, so you can experience, a good selection of different foods, local music & your just a hop skip & jump away from the foreshore.

Food was good. Wait time for food was good. It was overcrowded and not convid safe eg. You have to order food, drinks and wait to be seated from the tiny bar in the middle. Everyone had to crowd around to get served, which took sometime. Staff were arguing with each other and people arguing for positions on the deck. I WAS DISAPPOINTED in everything except the food.

I won a bucket of prawns in a fb comp and got to try them today... They were lovely fresh sweet tasting, it says the bucket is for two but Id say would serve three ladies easily.. We gave it a good shot trying to eat them all tho! Ordered side salads (one was complimentary) which were fresh and crunchy and nice warm garlic bread. Service was very friendly and mum tipped the young waiter. I gave a 4 due to the stairs you need to climb at the entrance/exit and was a bit dark - not good for my mum who is elderly, also she would have liked padded seats in the restaurant however it didn't bother me. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

A reasonable offering among cheap buffet breakfasts. Staff usually seem young or inexperienced, and the buffet seems to often run short on juice, cutlery or crockery. But they do serve up tasty savoury fritters I don't see in any other buffets, and serve until longer into Sunday morning than some others (1030ish)

We have been coming here for Thursday steak night ($15 for any of their steaks) and its great. Highly recommend the tempura prawns as a topper! Really good live music on Thursdays too. Beers are normal price. Ie $10 a pint on average. Food and atmosphere are really good. Its a close knit community made up mainly of long time returning locals, im new to the area but i still feel very welcome.

From the deck you get the best views of Manly. I was there on a Saturday night and it was very busy with a real buzz in the air. Meals are a good size and cooked to perfection. Meals came in a very timely fashion considering how busy it was. They have an impressive array of bouqet beers on tap along with all the usual suspects. There is live music most nights. The crowd is 18 - 80 with a predominance of mid to late 20's early 30's. Just a great, casual place to hang out for a coffee, a drink or a meal with friends.

Ordered the 400gm rib eye medium rare. Normally comes with salad and chips but i didn't take the chips. Asked for butter instead of sauce. Cooked ok. Quality ok. Very friendly service. And steak was ready in roughly 15 minutes. Cosy place to hangout. Not expensive for $42. Overall nothing special with the steak but good place to eat if you're in a hurry.

A rare Wednesday night escape from cooking duties found two of us looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful. Any more cheerful and we would never have left. The deck was buzzing with happy, young and youngish peeps enjoying a drink and a game of pool, or jiggling about in their seats to the live music performance. I've had steak here before and it's always been good. This time I opted for the pulled pork burger and my friend, the chicken tikka burger. Half-way through, we swapped. I won with the choice, but only just. Both were tasty, quick to arrive and easily affordable. I'll have that again.

The Manly Deck has a relaxed atmosphere and has a spacious deck that provides some views of Moreton Bay. They have standard fair inn the menu offering tapas, burgers, steaks, seafood and staples like chicken parmigana. Awesome place ! The backpacker is the cheaper i've seen in Australia, and there is many advantages: free breakfast (english breakfast on the week end), laundry for 2$... But the best is the staff ! The staff work is commune between the bar and backpacker, they are really kind and they do both job really well ! The bar have good food and awesome concert, and all is cheap ! I'll stay here for three month normaly and i'm happy about it, come have a drink, became a part of Manly Deck's family ! :D
