I can't recommend Motorwagen enough! I hosted my baby shower at Motorwagen in December and from the very first enquiry interaction, all the way to event day I was impressed with the team's service and attentiveness. Organising all the event details was a breeze, which was extra important for a tired mum to be! Everything on the day was perfect. The food, drinks, attentive service and atmosphere. The team really went above and beyond and I am so grateful. A special thank you to Katie for all your help and guidance - you are a true asset to this restaurant! We will absolutely be back.

Came here for brunch and loved the ambience of the place. It’s quite a big area. Food was cooked well and the serving is extra generous. I ordered a matcha latte in a mug and it’s like a small bowl 😂 .It’s good value for money and the serving is really good if you’re really hungry. Definitely I nice place to eat in with a group.They also offer alcoholic drinks and have good selection to choose from.

not the greatest quality photos to complement how good the food was! so happy we stumbled across this gem as I feel there are only a small amount of restaurants that one can count on their hand in brisbane. the food presentation was amazing and the taste was even better! would 10/10 recommend to my friends and family. hope more people discover this new restaurant so they can have a party in their mouth 😂😂😂🎉 also the waiters were very friendly! if the chef wants to read : the only thing i would do differently is the sauteed vegetable sides came with sour cream or some sort of sauce but i think the vegetables tastes a lot better on their own. also i was the vego in the group so another choice for a vego main would be good!

a stunning restaurant cafe in the city!!!! it’s gold decor and warm lighting caught my eye and i am glad i came to try~ lovely atmosphere with ambient chill music in the background~!! wanted breakfast but unfortunately breakfast time was over so i will be sure to come next time~ ordered a lovely hot chocolate, not sticky artificial sweet like other cafes, had a real darker richer taste which was amazing! lovely girl at the counter greeted me so friendly~! definitely excited to come back again to try their food~!🥰🥰

This is a light filled and airy venue with great service and very good food. I visited with a group for breakfast and had the granola with bee pollen, coconut yoghurt and fruit, and it was a delicious surprise. My friends all had eggs or bacon and eggs and all said they were perfectly cooked.

The menu and reviews showed such promise, the space is beautiful, the service is first class but the food was hit and (mostly) miss. The beef cheek sausage roll was absolutely delicious with the beef cheek handled well, soft and moist and tasty, wrapped in flaky pastry. Yum. The prawns were cooked perfectly. Nice work. But the chill oil, much needed to heighten the dish and cut through the sweet mango, was lost. At $20 for 2 prawns, this should have been flawless. Our side dish was on the menu as broccolini but arrived broccoli. No big deal but by trying to have the substitute present well, it was made difficult to eat as the stalks were tough to cut and we left half of them on the plate, smothers in the otherwise tasty labna. Desserts were the most disappointing. The rice pudding had an acidity that we couldn't identify but was unpleasant and the puffed wasn't crispy. The house made mulberry jam was the highlight here. The fondant and gelato were lacklustre and the mulberry jam from the other dessert matched the dish better than the cherries it was served with. On the whole didn't think we got the quality the price tags promised.

Such an outstanding experience. Organised the private room for my partners birthday. Had such a stunning three course meal. Had our own fantastic waitress all night. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic. Would absolutely recommend for a special occasion.

I found myself with some time to kill before an appointment and was aware there was a venue below the building I was heading to, so thought I would wait there over a drink. Within seconds of entering I was greeted warmly by Sam, he asked where I would like to seat, I said the coolest part and he suggested the back of the restaurant. He asked if I wanted a glass of wine and I said I really fancy a Riesling but I wanted a full favoured one. He said there have two, a dessert one and a dry one, I asked if I could smell them both and he said I was welcome to a taste. After I sat down in a super comfy corner, he brought over water and the 2 bottles. I loved the dessert one but didn’t fancy a glass at lunch, so he brought over an “Odd Bins” list, he asked if I knew what that was and I said yes, as I was from the UK and there was a brand of liquor stores with that name. He then recommended a wine from there and offered me a taste again, it was perfect and I order a bottle. I was then given the lunch menu and asked for a recommendation, the pate was suggested and I am glad it was, a tasty smooth delicious light lunch occurred. I didn’t like the bread it came with, so Sam quickly suggested what else they had and a toasted light rye was provided, free of charge. The service was above and beyond, the wine and food offerings were delicious. I later discovered I have been serviced by the owner Sam. Motorwagen, is now definitely on my date night restaurant list, I look forward to returning.

However, ambience was great, looks like a really new restaurant and food was fantastic. I had the slow cooked beef flank and it was tender and melt in your mouth. Accompaniments were great too with nicely seasoned potatoes and the cold pressed juice although not made on site was nicely decorated with a few edible flowers for next lux touch. We came here last week, spontaneously, as us girls wanted to catch up over dinner. We weren’t sure where to go until one of us mentioned that this place was open for dinner. We really enjoyed our evening here. The decor is warm and modern, the service was unobtrusive and friendly and the food was tasty! We all really felt comfortable and enjoyed our experience. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. Nothing to fault. Thanks to the chef - chef Callum - for a delicious meal. Definitely go for the pork spring rolls, the duck breast and for dessert choose the chocolate raspberry mousse.

Hands down THE BEST BREAKFAST we’ve had anywhere in the world! Absolutely perfection. Ryan made the most amazing coffees & the coffee art was divine. Perfect poached eggs - PERFECT!! Amazing crab, divine French toast. We were simply blown away. Better than most 3 Michelin stars. From one of our group “The first bite was the most perfect mouthful I’ve ever had”. Thank you so much - we will return time and time and time again!!!

Been here a few times now, and can't say that I've ever been over-impressed. The food doesn't quite match its promise, and quality has been inconsistent. Their desserts are pretty ordinary for the prices. Maybe I've just caught them on off days. It is a nice setting, though, and staff are always friendly. Perhaps best visited when the kitchen isn't so busy.

This place has such a great aesthetic, from the outdoor area, to the cocktail bar and the main restaurant. It oozes style with a spacious yet intimate feel. My wife and I enjoyed the Calamari and Rabbit Croquette - the Rabbit was actually my favourite dish of the night. For mains, we chose the beef flank and the fish was Barramundi - great combinations of flavours with surprising presentation. The service is professional and personable and to top it all off they have a superb wine list! We'll be back for sure.

What a wonderful evening we had at Motorwagen last night! We were warmly greeted and looked after throughout the night by the amazing Joedy. What a star! He is extremely knowledgeable about every item on the menu and he really knows his stuff about wine pairing. He simply cannot be faulted for his professionalism, friendly manner, his expertise and he has a lovely sense of humour too. Our wait staff were equally friendly, nothing was too much trouble. It is obvious that the staff have tried the menu items themselves and can tell you from personal experience what to expect and they even suggested how to dive into the lovely creations for optimum enjoyment! We were delighted to indulge in the new 8 course degustation menu by Head Chef Dario Manca and his capable team to really make a night of it. From the get go we knew we were in for a real treat. The courses were innovative, adventurous, surprising to the palate at times, superbly presented by caring hands and an artist's eye. Some of us stepped out of our comfort zones to savour new tastes such as the Hiramasa Kingfish crudo with black sesame, buttermilk, lychee gel and basil oil or the dry aged Angus beef tartar with bagna cauda. Absolutely loved the expertly made Culurgiones, cacio with spicy nduja oil, a warm and comforting dish. As a group, we all agreed that our absolute favourite standout dish of the night was the melt-in-your-mouth Black Angus beef skirt finished over coals served with soft leeks, saffron cream and Dijon mustard jus. What a sensational dish! Our dessert gave us another surprise to the palate with an inventive combination of red capsicum and white chocolate ice cream. For a group of foodies like ourselves, there was much to discuss and much to enjoy. The food was quite the talking point! Thank you to our host Sam and the wonderful chefs for their preparation, planning and presentation. I look forward to returning for breakfast one day as I hear very good things about the state of the art coffee machine that I'd like to see in action!

Syrup, but not very sweet, unexpectedly very delicious 我 I rarely fell in love with sweets; this time the coffee is also very special, a bit sour and bitter, more strong coffee, if you are not used to drinking You can add some sugar, sour bitter and sweet. However, it may be an open space with flies and fruit flies from time to time. Other aspects are good, especially the service, the waiters are very warm and very cordial, observe their interaction with other guests like friends, from time to time care about how the guests eat, chat 👍 (Original) 環境乾淨明亮！早餐菜單排版一看明瞭，比較少選擇。餐點看似簡單，仔細看和品嚐後口感層次豐富，點了French toast 和 Eggs benzy-hot smoked salmon, 法式吐司配上香草🌿奶油，吐司上灑了糖粒和糖粉也加了一些糖漿，卻不會很甜，意外地非常好吃😋 鮮少吃甜食的我都愛上了；此次點的咖啡也很特別，有點酸也有點苦，比較濃厚的咖啡香，若喝不習慣可以加些糖，酸苦甜綜合。不過可能是開放式空間，用餐中不時有蒼蠅跟果蠅。其他方面都不錯，尤其是服務，服務員💁都非常熱情也很親切，觀察他們與其他客人的互動像朋友似的，不時關心客人用餐如何，會聊聊天👍
