We discovered Neesh Bar as our usual Woolloongabba eatery was closed due to the 3 day Covid lockdown. What a great find! The decor is fantastic, successfully honouring its old world charm & adding it’s own style with zingy green accents inside & a huge vibrant street-art mural on the outside of the building. Parking will be your only difficult during cricket games @ the Gabba, as it’s a very busy area, just park a few streets away & enjoy the fresh air & inner city vibe - there is street parking directly outside on Stanley St, clearway between 6-9am, this place is definitely worth a leisurely walk. They do have a very cute takeaway window so you can easily order from the street, & a huge covered alfresco dining area out the back, which is perfect for larger groups e.g work lunches or drinks. We chose to dine in, their menu choices are refreshing, portions sizes are very generous & appreciated, their table water was chilled which set the tone, superbly delicious food, plated beautifully with great service. We had the calamari & fish tacos for lunch, both meals were cooked to perfection & full fresh herbs & flavour. Neesh Bar pride themselves on their fresh quality ingredients, and we could absolutely taste that point of difference. We will definitely enjoy returning to this little gem again, their dinner menu & cocktail list looks fantastic!

Great coffee and food. The atmosphere is great especially the garden area out the back where you can sit with your dog. The best part is the staff, really attentive & friendly and so is the owner. Love coming here, its a good half hour drive for me, but well worth it, in a nice part of town close to Kangaroo Point. Im not surprised at all by all the good reviews, it is definitely well deserved.

Neesh = nice, perfectly sums up this place, nice little place with nice food, nice staff, it's all nice. Customer service is as good as it gets, the owner is very nice and helpful. I really enjoyed the food that I had, cooked extremely well by the chefs. It wasn't the biggest menu you will see, but it has plenty of variety to choose from. One of their highlights is their platter, it's got a bit of anything and everything on it, and it's really big. They have now started dinner service, I will definitely be visiting again sometime to try it out sometime :)

Phenomenal! The food is amazing and at a great price. Toasted sandwiches are amazing (the Reuben is my favourite) Breakfast burgers are exceptional and DON'T skimp on the Bacon. Big Brekkie (Photo) is glorious I'll be moving further away in the next month and I will miss this cafe being so close.

So here's the scene right: I walk in. Ask the lady, do you have a BLT. She says not on hand but let us make you one, we will be fast. I've heard that line before but I agree. $11 later. I'm waiting. Big dude comes from the back "what can I get ya", explain I've been looked after. The excitement is mounting. 5 minutes later my food rocks up, I high tail it out of there back to my desk at work. Open the box, get greeted with possibly the best BLT humanity has ever seen. I offered the BLT my hand in marriage but it said nothing in reply. I ate it. I smashed it. 10/10 have a new favourite BLT merchant.

Great friendly service. The food was delicious and the servings were really generous. We couldn't even finish our meal! I didn't love the coffee but that could be personal taste but I think it got burnt. The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired, its kind of dark and pokey and the high tables are kind of weird but I'd still go back for the food :)

Went for breakfast for the first time and it was amazing. Everything about this place was great, menu options, flavours, portion sizes, prices, service, staff, location and ambient. Good vegetarian options. A must try when looking for a nice weekend brunch. Will definitely come back for dinner.

This is a lovely little venue in East Brisbane. It's taken a while to settle in, but it's a pleasant place to be. The menu has a good mix of classic faves and innovative departures from the same old boring cafe fare. Dietary requirements well catered for. It has everything parents need, like high chairs and also a liquor licence that allows daytime drinking. Definitely worth a visit.

I'm almost hesitant to leave a review, as currently, this gem of a breakfast spot rarely has a line to sit down, and I selfishly want it to stay that way. Meanwhile people line up for long wait times across the street, not knowing how great this place is. Coffee is always excellent, and of the 4 different breakfast dishes I've had, they've all been delicious and professionally prepared. Staff are friendly and service is fast. This place deserves more love than it gets, but hopefully not too the point I ever need to wait lol.

The boozy brunch is such good value for money, the food is amazing and the staff are great. Can be a bit awkward getting to the bathroom as you sometimes have to dodge staff going to the coldroom in a narrow hallway but overall the venue is great. Inside can get a bit hot in summer as the building is pretty old, but the staff are usually pretty happy to put a fan on for you.

Went to the paint and sip at Neesh last thursday and oh my god it was amazing. Not only was the art class stellar but the food was incredible. I had the bao buns and they were so delicious. Definitely recommending Neesh to all of my friends. I also tried the Boozy Brunch this weekend and it was some how even better than the paint and sip. Unlimited mimosas and so much food!! Can it get any better?!?

There is always a cue of people here and I found out why. The food is good. Credit goes to the chef that makes the eggs Benedict with fresh creamy hollandaise on top. I've never seen a scone that looks like a mashmellow and tastes like a cheese cloud! That's right..a large puffy scone laced through with a tasty melted cheese. I'd line up for that. Thank you.

Outstanding. I have had 2 of the best types of meals from this venue I have ever had. Had the brunch board one morning and the calamari salad an evening before the footy. The brunch board is so extravagant and delicious. It comes with the savory board first, and then there's a sweet board after! One with French toast and custard croquettes. Its next level! A calamari salad seems simple but is often filled with defrosted, deep fried, stringy calamari. Not this one! fresh cut strips, grilled with an amazing salad. Was unreal. And for a starter, it was huge. I didn't have an amazing experience with the wine selection but that's an easy fix. The venue also has a great ambience in the front section for a dinner. Plus is was super close to the game for us. Win, win, win, win!

Big breakfast Creme Brulee French toast sourdough toast Coffee x 2 ______________ Bacon n eggs on toast Homemade Banana Bread Eggs Benny Acai bowl w coconut yoghurt Coffee x 2 The Creme Brulee French toast was exquisitely presented, a mind blowing punch in the face of sweet flavors! Char grilled cherry tomatoes are but one of numerous small touches that i found in my big breakfast that really made it stand out from others ive had. Highly recommend.

Breakfast for 2 Entered into a chaotic breakfast service where everyone was rushing to get something done. First impression was a bit too noisy, even the indoor sitting areas. Surprisingly there were no families or big gatherings in there to be the cause of the commotion. Had to wait more than 40 mins to get our food. Even when it arrived the server just left it on the table without asking which order was for whom and we had to ask for salt and pepper for our eggs as they didn't offer it. The food on the other hand was delicious. We ordered the Big Breakfast and the Vegan Breakfast. 1 smoothy, 1 cocktail and a house beer. Total bill $85 Overall just based on the food alone, i probably might visit it again.

Have been here three times now. Each time I've had the green smoothie and the trio of mushrooms takeaway the mushrooms are so full of flavour and such a big portion. They have cheese scones that look amazing and im too scared to even look at their bakery cabinet

There are 22 cafe's/restaurants within 6 mins walk of my work. And I've been to them all (except one that is out of my league price-wise). But once I discovered Neesh, I'd found my niche!!! I rate cafes in general based on 50% staff; 40% food; 10% atmosphere. The staff at Neesh have been wonderful--welcoming, personable, attentive. The food's been excellent (I only go for breakfast and lunch). The Creme Brûlée French Toast is unique and to-die-for! And the Goats Cheese Salad is my go-to for lunch. (If you have the French Toast for breakfast (super indulgent) you can make up for it with the Goats Cheese Salad (light) for lunch without actually feeling like you are missing out at all!) Even though atmosphere isn't as important for me, it certainly has a great vibe. I've found a nook where I can have breakfast, a quiet table for one-on-one meetings, and a large comfortable area in the courtyard for team meetings. Highly recommended.

Neesh is just a really great cafe restaurant! Consistent great tasting high quality snacks, meals, coffee and drinkies list! Its been open a while now and it has maintained the same high standard from the start. The very experienced friendly owners are always around, and their staff are always unpretentious, cheerful, focused, motivated. The breky menu is always a choice, the lunch burgers are generous and superb, the dinner menu delights! Their Wood Fired Pizzas are one of the best I've had anywhere!!! I'm sure their base recipe is an old family secret maybe? So delicious! My vegetarian wife doesn't eat pizza usually, but a Neesh Vegetarian Wood Fired Pizza disappears pretty quick! Cannot recommend Neesh enough, you will not be disappointed!

Took my team to Neesh for a Christmas function. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, the menu range for canapes selection was huge, the food portions were incredibly generous, and a lovely attractive venue. Loved the flexibility in the pricing (we chose the $25 per head canape pack and put a sum of money on the bar, but there was flexibility in how that was done). Couldn't have been happier and had an excellent night. Thanks so much! Highly recommend.

Went for dinner with a friend and found the service to be really top notch, perfectly friendly without being intrusive. Food was amazing, shared the arancini and the lemongrass calamari, and then I had the slow roasted pork belly main. It was one of the best I have experienced in a long time! A very nice place for excellent coffee made to perfection. Food looks amazing and the good news is beer on Tap! I had the Bacon and egg roll for $10 and it was the best I have had and I’ve had many at many places including Interstate! Good quality bacon and eggs as well, delicious bun! Really enjoyed the 7 course lazy banquet at Neesh! For $39 the value is insane and the quality of all the courses was incredible. It felt like something you would pay $100 for. After being a few times for breakfast we saw they were opening for dinner service. Let me tell you, the meals were delicious. The service I find is always fantastic, friendly and helpful. Felt comfortable taking with kids too which can be hard to find with places nowadays. There was a group of us and we all ordered something different so we could try and share. The meals are very generous servings. The pizzas were amazing, kids loved them. Sweet potato wedges were also a hit with them. Will definitely be back.

Look no further for a breakfast spot. I would drink as hard as I did in uni again just to be hung over then experience the immediate remedy by grease, salt and savouriness of the big brekky. The portions are massive (fyi I am a smallish man with the portion size of a slightly larger man). If you are a sweet tooth order the creme brule French toast and feel the luminal cross sectional areas of your major arteries halve within minutes.

Swung by for an early dinner with the kids on a 'school night'. Great spot with excellent service and delicious food. The pizzas have just the right balance between toppings and a generous perfectly cooked crunchy-slightly-charred base. No complaints from the kids which is rare! Solid choice of tap beers with a 'mystery tap' that was supporting Brisbane locals Green Beacon tonight. You know when your belly says you've probably had enough, and you think 'nahhh, a bit more'. I did that probably 4 times... I'm now sitting at home with no regrets that I've eaten too much. Will happily do it all again soon.
