Amazing place to enjoy our Spanish culture. Really tasty food and nice service. Also they have some especial days where you can learn to do Spanish traditional food plates. My favourite days are when they come to play live music. It was really interesting night. We will repeat.

Fantastic little family restaurant in Bardon. The Spanish tapas were excellent.- we had the eggplant, prawns, & octopus, & all three dishes were delicious. And we will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes we saw being served to other tables! This is a terrific example of a small suburban restaurant offering good, honest food with friendly & passionate staff. We genuinely enjoyed our dinner experience (especially the flamenco dancer & guitarist!), & would highly recommend it for a visit!

Second time back (with friends) and the experience was as good as it was the first time. The food, service and vibe are all great. One star off for the churros however. The chocolate sauce was closer to chocolate milk than the mouth watering thick coating of chocolate it should have been. May have just been an off night. Nonetheless we will be back.

Paella is a must on this place, they really are specilized. So GOOD! But the TAPAS are awesome with their Patatas Bravas, Croquetas and Chipirones are some of my fav. They had some prime Jamon Iberico and I couldn't have enough of it... Sorry ALDI haha. Worth to taste the real one for once. On my birthday we went to @patanegrabrisbane to celebrate with tapas. They are one of the most genuine Spanish place to be found in Brisbane. The sangria was delicious spiced with cinnamon 🍷we shared some different tapas but I think the favorite was the cheese and ham platter. We asked for some iberico ham although it was good it was nothing compared to the iberico we had in Spain. But the owner sat down with us and was very concerned when he heard that verdict which shows how much they care about being the real thing. The biggest issue of the evening was the noisy traffic from the busy road otherwise we had a great evening

Tapas was pretty good. We waited almost an hour for our desert which was probably missed. The staff were great and wrote it off the bill which was fantastic service recovery. The thing that annoyed me the most was that some patrons were standing right outside and having a smoke. With the smoke drifting into the restaurant, it made the dining experience unpleasant.

We had a great time at Pata Negra. They have a wide selection of dishes that appeal to all tastes (meat and cheese platter looks superb and will be on our list for next time), including some delicious desserts. The drinks list is equally diverse and both the food and drinks heavily lean towards the Spanish style of the restaurant. Great spot for a meal for two or a large family get together, but do book in advance as it does seem to be very popular with the locals.

We ordered 4 tapas dishes and only 3 arrived, by the time we had finished these someone cleaned our table before we could say we were still waiting on an item, it never came anyway. We ordered dessert of the 4 x doughnuts (as it says on the menu) and were given three doughnuts, all of which were borderline burnt. When we went to pay for our meals, the 4th dish was still on the bill that we had never been delivered. A nice experience all in all, however lacking consistency and attention to detail. Probably won't go back, but happy to of tried eating there at least once.

I went here a few days ago for dinner with my partner. Despite being short one staff member we were served quickly and politely. Food and drink also came out nice and quick. As for the food and drink, it's awesome. I didn't think anybody would be able to challenge Peasant on Spanish food in this city but these guys truly do. We shared 4 tapas which were all excellent and the sangria was a real highlight - really really rich. We found prices very reasonable too. I'll be visiting again.
