Compared to many other local pubs, you can't beat the view sitting on the back deck looking out over Raymond Park. The food however, was pretty ordinary. Overcooked egg on the steak sandwich, chips that tasted like frozen numbers that had been reheated a dozen times - mushy and flavourless. Won't be back for the food.

The food was really good, it just need some small adjustments for my taste but not a big deal, a little bit less of butter in the bread an some more minutes in the oven, less onion in the burger, because it’s too sweet (I just took it out) The steak was in the point and the burger was good as well. I love when I go to a restaurant and they have paper straws, that shows somebody is trying to do something better for the environment!

What a gem of a place! Fabulous food and lovely staff. We went for lunch and stayed for dinner! Our lunch was from the $12 specials menu. I had a “steak sandwich”; when I ordered, I asked if it could be a wrap, rather than a bread roll and the staff happily obliged! My friend enjoyed the fish and chips very much and then was delighted with the panna cotta (pictured). We enjoyed some refreshments, there’s a wide range of beers on tap and a front bar dedicated to special ales! There’s a TAB and plenty of televisions in the public bar area, great for the sports enthusiasts! We stayed on and enjoyed the chicken wings which were delicious and came with a blue cheese dipping sauce. This was my birthday treat for my friend and we both had a delightful time. The Hotel dealt with the check in requirement (immunisation certificates etc) very efficiently and courteously. A first class experience with something for everyone!

They’ve got a $12 lunch special everyday, which is great value. It’s cheap and cheerful, and decently done most of the time. There’s a playground for the kids attached to the adjoining bistro.

I have been to the pineapple quite a few times over the years, but thank heavens to whoever hired Mitchell. He is a breath of fresh air in the place and I have never felt so much at ease. I had an issue with a wrong drink order and he solved the issue all with a smile on his face. Thank you Mitchell, you made a very awkward sober night into a very fun affair for me.

The steak🥩 was well done chips and salad 🥗 🍽 🍕 was from the kids menu we were surprised at the size of the pizza and the topping amount of ham & Pineapple on the pizza. The atmosphere was vibrant and staff very friendly to us. We have been attending and we have organised parties at the Pineapple hotel it's our great local hotel on Main Street. I keep coming back as it never has disappointed me and my family 👪. It's a head above the rest the best local hotel in Brisbane..

I've always loved this place! The steak house has always produced high quality goods. Being able to view and select the very cut of steak that you're going to eat is a rare treat. I look forward to the experience everytime. The interior of the hotel is beautiful, clean and welcoming; worth a little exploration. The lovely staff here are always friendly and helpful it's hard to have anything negative to say about the place. As a lover of pineapple, my only comment is that I'd like to see pineapple better incorporated into the menu. Would highly recommend!

Great Craft Bar at front of Pub with Lots of choices on tap . Top relaxed atmosphere to hang out with mates . Out the side & back , plenty of alfresco eating areas & a well set up Public bar on the other side. Meals were value for money & most of us took up on the $11 Lunch Special & were not disappointed. All the Staff were noticeably friendly and attentive. I can certainly recommend this Pub and I will definitely be back.

Went to the restaurant with my parents tonight. Steak was cooked perfectly, Greek salad had a good blend of ingredients and nice dressing. Parents' meals were also very good. Lady who seated my family, took our orders and payment was friendly and pleasant. Other staff were also competent. Plenty of check-in posters and hand sanitising stations.

Possible the best inner city in Brisbane, all thanks to the quality of the service provided by the staff. We have held many recent events here and each time Jay has gone out of his way to make sure all guests are taken care of. The food and beer specials are great as well, and the kids playground tops it all off!

Renee was our bartender. She was just awesome. The roots and leaves ginger beer was one of the best ive ever had. It tastes like what summer under a shady tree during a picnic tastes like. I asked for it with mint leaves. On top of that, the calamari was probably the best ive ever had and the atmosphere was incredible. Oh and did i mention this place is 3 bars in 1?

Staff are lovely. The food is average with a premium price. The Pork belly was extremely fatty even though it was well presented. Children's pizza had tomato paste for the sauce. Something less rich may have been for appropriate. The prawns on a salad didn't look or taste like they were grilled and the dressing on the salad was hardly there. This notwishstanding, it is still a lovely place to go. The bar fare is nicer in many respects although I didn't try it on this occasion

Such a great Aussie pub! Old school pub grub at reasonable prices and efficient drinks service. Just a stones throw from the Gabba it is always popular on game day.

Very busy and well supported pub. A variety of good meals at reasonable prices, a large dining room, plus another dining room which has a play area for the kids. Good cold beer and wine, which everyone seemed to enjoy. Very helpful and friendly staff, good waiters and relatively quick to tidy and clean up. The meals arrived surprisingly quick. Good lamb shanks, great calamari and great steaks. The kids enjoyed burgers and chips. All in all a good night. Thank you.

Great pub. The front bar is a dedicated craft beer bar, though this time around some of the taps were generic beers. Maybe because of Covid19? It's a nice relaxed spot that has bloody big leather chairs you can sink into whilst enjoying a tasting paddle. The attached bottleshop is OK. Nothing ground breaking in there. They serve food and have a restaurant attached. I've not looked at the menu so can't comment on that. The pub itself is a beautiful old Queenslander style and is a good spot to sink a few cold ones. I'll be back.

The Pineapple has been my local for about 5 years now. I take my mum there at least once a week and have never had a bad experience. The staff are great and the $11 lunch menu and the $12 daily dinner specials are amazing quality and value. Came for an event with friends, the food was disgusting, one of the entrees legitimately smelt worse than dog food and I own 10 pets and tasted disgusting, the mains were just foul too, considering the amount of money that was spent, and how easy it is to make decently good food, I was horrified by how actually disgusting a lot of the food was. The share plates of cheese were nice but not much of an achievement since they didn't make the cheeses, the food they did make I wouldn't recommend

Incredible service from the lovely wait staff today! We were a last minute booking for 12 people for a baby shower and the staff made a stressful location change into such a lovely day!!! When here before heading off to the Gabba to watch the footy. One of the best steaks I have ever had! Everyone at the table had an amazing meal. It was packed when we were there, but we didn't have to wait too long for our meals. The only downside was how loud the place is inside. Very poor acoustics. We could barely hear anyone on our table. Still worth going to. Will definitely go back.

Downfall - parking, there is a small parking lot but it was full which leaves street parking. That too was hard to come by...advise to walk or use public transport. Amazing. We went last night for dinner, after starting off with the best garlic ciabatta that i have had lately, for mains i had the 300G Rib fillet with pork ribs topper, my partner had the 200G Eye fillet with S&P Calamari topper. Both meals were sensational, the steaks were perfect, even the chips and salad sides top shelf, and both the calamari and the ribs toppers were amazing, the staff were nothing short of impressive and the whole experience was a solid highlight of the weekend. We had a party here last weekend and Stacey worked with on leading up to the event on platters and other arrangements. Amazing service - they bent over backwards and were so accommodating, plus the set up, food, and service on the day was fantastic too. Our guests kept saying how great the space was for a casual event, and we had our own area near the bar blocked off with ample seating and space to move around. We ordered three platters as part of the function menu and would highly recommend the burgers and the standard bites, though all food was great - even the meals that our friends ordered for dinner after the event. Highly recommend, for dinner or a party, or a casual catch up with friends.

Sunday lunch Great place to handle large groups. Hotel design great but main dining area when busy is very noisy . Would have been better if you are allowed to open folding doors. Parking is available at the hotel and extra public parking down side street about 500 m away in off street designated area . Food nothing special just rather dull mediocre pub food. Could try harder with the menu.

Went to the Steakhouse component, where service is good and meals consistently good and good value for money. The kids are well-catered for, with a good selection of children's meals which provide good value, and a play area for them. It can get busy here, but meals are pretty quick - even at peak times.

I dropped my wallet in the toilet bowl and didn't realise that it was missing. I rang up the place and the manager searched for my wallet, picked it up, gave it a quick wash and kept it in a zip lock bag for me. That's true honesty and dedication to the job.

Had dinner here for the first time tonight. There were 4 adults and 3 young children in our group. Everything was great and the kids loved the playground...good for the adults too as we could talk and eat with minimal disruption. The meals were substantial and reasonably priced. All the staff members we came across were friendly and accommodating. It was a fairly quiet night - we were told Wed and Fri nights are busiest because of the ‘kids eat for free’ promotion. Would definitely recommend especially for families.

We called in here on our way past for an early dinner and couple of beers whilst on holidays..the joint was packed which I thought was unusual for an early arvo but realised it was the place to go for a few before the cricket..the place was near empty within half hour of the cricket starting..it was a good casual place for a beer and dinner,although the burgers were a little bland..i hope they keep the casual feel to the place, theres enough “trendy” places around as it is..

Great dinner specials in the side bar/restaurant. We go for an early dinner as our almost 3yr old likes to run around. Dinner starts at 5. There is also a fenced outdoor play area including slide off the main restaurant that you can utilise even of you haven't eaten on that side. Kids eat free on Wednesday.

My only reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars... yes it is an older pub and is beautiful but they need to address the ceilings and air con vents as there is a bit of mould and the ceilings look a mess. We were at a work function...of retirees and the Piney was our Friday arvo watering hole. Bob, the owner, is a consummate publican who looks after his clients, both current and past. We had 40 - 50 people there for a Xmas function and were looked after exceptionally well, as normal. Do yourself a favour and go for a drink in the Park Bar or have a meal in the bistro, they are both great. The Park bar also has a lunch special for about $10-12.00...burger & chips or Pizza. Its a great place.

The Pineapple Hotel is the place to be with friends or family, or just by yourself with it's welcoming atmosphere. Their wonderful wait staff serve one of Brisbane's best 200g rare and medium rare steaks! Awesome deal on Thursday nights for steak lovers, otherwise, their nightly deals are a real catch, but the doughnut dessert is the true winner! Other meals are up there too and prices are not bad for general pub food. Good location, even if you're driving there is parking along the back streets across the road or at the back. Would recommend!

Our meal was really delicious. I'm bummed I forgot to take photos. The last time I came to the Pineapple was many many years ago and it was honestly meh. So we've steered clear until last night. And what a surprise! The 300g eye fillet was cooked to perfection as was the 250g rib fillet. They were such generous sized meals too with the sides. The garlic bread was yummo. I didn't get much though as the husband and kids devoured that really quickly. The only thing I didn't love was the kids playzone. It was so roudy. The kids were going nuts in there. Kids screaming. Kids running as if they were the only ones in there. I have 2 kids aged 4 and 1, and my 4 year old had to steer clear as the kids in there were much older and just dominating the play equipment. They were on top of the slide bashing it, climbing up the slide etc. But they have a playzone for kids which is fantastic. Means parents can sit back and enjoy their meals and a drink in peace. I just think a bit of play etiquette is needed in there.

A Brisbane institution, the quality and professionalism of The Pineapple Hotel never varies everything is excellent. From the famous Steakhouse where the stakes are 110% to the Lawn Bar for the best pub grub in Brisbane, all at a reasonable price. The only way they could improve things is to lower the prices and in this day and age that ain't going to happen. Good TAB area and great Poker Machine area and as you would expect fantastic staff. A proper decent craft ale bar faces the street, with twelve beers on tap (and some good and interesting choices); and a larger, more popular bar towards the back with ample seating and lots of space. Food was okay, and prices aren't too bad. Kangaroo Point has the slightly odd feeling of being miles from anywhere but very close to the city, and this bar, overlooking a park, feels even further away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD. Quite pleasantly surprised.

The whole point of a pub counter meal was it was affordable value for money, today I found awesome value at the Pineapple (ask about the specials + jug of draft beer) in the back bar, don't know about this "Cricketers Arms" branding, what is wrong with pineapples doesn't get much more QLD then that, this place still maintains its charm and offers restaurant quality options for a business lunch or night time special occasion. Fell of the list a while back due to inhospitable staff, will be my go to lunch spot whilst they can maintain it. Staff were great, place was clean, nice view out the back, even got a park out front, happy days !

Helsby's Tap Bar located at the front of hotel has 16 microbrews on tap. Food is reasonably priced and yummy. There are pokies located in the hotel if giving away your hard earned cash is a must.

The food are nice. For anyone's info, kid eats free on Wednesday and Friday. It was a nice place to go on weekday for kids friendly. Have a little playground for the kids too.
