I have had burgers here for about 3 years. Eating on site and picking up orders (convenience of living close by). Great burgers, I usually get the Beet Down Aussie burger. The chips are awesome, nice and crunchy. I always find the service to be fast and friendly. Price is normal for burgers. Four for the burgers and make it a five as the chips are the best.

Great little burger joint. Popped by for a quick feed before a show at the Tivoli. Generous sized burgers, yummy caramel shake and fun street fighter theme. For some reason when we were there it was one girl by herself juggling orders at the counter, on the phone, and cooking. She was obviously stressed.

Recently reopened after being shut due to building repairs for 2 months. Super combo is a street fighter themed burger bar in Bowen hills. Fairly small shop with limited seating but an awesome outfit with figurines everywhere. The menu heavily themed with street fighter references. I came into this with low expectations thinking it was only a gimmick but was pleasantly surprised. A few ingredients you don't normally see on burgers presented me with a few interesting options. I ended up going the round 2 and adding chicken + maple bacon. A side of loaded fries as well. The beef patty was the least exciting part, flavour was ok but nothing special. Things got better with the chicken, it was crunchy and went well with the parmesan crisp. Roasted tomato was different, it mixed with the ketchup and kewpie mayo. The pickles were finely diced and tasty. The maple bacon was a bit of a no show. Overall it was such an interesting burger with unusual flavour combinations, I really enjoyed it. The candied maple bacon and chimichurri on the fries was awesome as well. Drowned in cheese sauce, they probably could of used half the amount. Recommend trying this place if you want something a little different to your standard burgers.

If you love retro gaming and hamburgers, you've got to try this! This is one of the best tasting, mouth watering hamburgers in Brisbane. Hands down the best burger & fries in Brisbane!! Today was my first time here and I ordered (takeaway) Electric Thunder burger and fries. My goodness I don’t know what you’ve done with the greens but it tastes sensational and goes so well with the beef patty!!! 😍 The portion is very generous and the staffs were friendly. Will definitely recommend to friends. I look forward to dining in soon 👍

Burgers were delicious. Fries however were warm rather than hot, they tasted great but just seemed rather stale. Pricing seems fair - seating options seemed minimal however this could either be due to COVID or close to closing time. Service was hit and miss, person at the counter seemed disinterested but had someone come check on our meals who was very friendly. Overall not too bad.

Very good burger and chips and popcorn chicken! Everything was so fresh and yummy. They have very cute interior design there with lots of Street Fighters stuff and you can play Street Fighters while you are waiting too. Very cute little shop with good food and service.

The burgers were good! I loved how the brioche bun was light, fluffy and not soaked through with juices. Creative naming based off of Street Fighter. The even have a super Famicom with Street Fighter Turbo on it. 😁

The burgers are amazing... It is a pretty small shop and there are only a few tables outside so there is not really much space to sit and eat. But the taste and value is definitely well worth the visit. Highly recommended.

This is a great burger restaurant. It's got a cool retro gaming theme which can be seen around the store and on the menu. The food is reasonably priced and the burgers are fairly large and filling compared to other places. Their shakes are great too. As someone who dislikes chocolate shakes, their chocolate shakes are delicious.

Small but special menu, vegetarian options available too. Very unique theme making you want to stop and buy. Food was absolutely fantastic and cheap too! Staff are very efficient and friendly and we waited only 10mins despite them being very very busy! They even have a PS4 set up for the kids (or anyone really) to play which is super cool. I was a bit hesitant to go here since it seemed like a gimmick to base a restaurant off of childhood nostalgia, but I was happily surprised with the food and service here. The waitstaff was really helpful, the burgers were simple, but tasted great, and everything just hit the mark. Also, what's not to love about a wall of hot sauces to choose from. My only gripe is they had just one machine to play on. But it's hardly fair to knock them down on points for that.

Seating is limited so plan to take away if you're coming during peak times. The vintage Super Nintendo is a great touch. Expensive for what it is but if you're in the area and craving a burger it's worth a look.

Great flavours, different to what I was expecting but it was definitely welcomed! Sonic Boom is the fave so far as well as those fries. It's alright, but the storefront is tiny and packed and in a really dead area. I had a salad because I just wanted some greenery, and while it sounds like a boring meal it was actually pretty amazing. The flavours were pretty incredible. Overall, I won't rate this 5 stars because the venue kinda sucks. I reckon either wait for the “new place” buzz to wear off or order on Uber Eats.

Had this a couple of times with uber eats and it was amazing but that doesn't compare to going into store. There is a fantastic atmoaphere with street fighter and other pop cuture memorabilia everywhere but on the floor as well as street fighter II on SNES to play while you wait. The food quality is top notch, the chicken burger is one of my favourite burger in brisbane (which is saying a lot with all the fierce competition around the city). The price is the only thing that keeps this as an occasional treat rather than a regular favourite.
