Sushi Edo is in a ery great location in New Market. It was easy to park. Even we got the number for the queue, it was very fast. The ipad order on the table made easy for us to order. I really love the beef miso sauce one. It was juicy tender beef with very tasty sauce. Other dishes of sushi also fantastic. We will definitely come back. Kate (เกตุ)

This is the greatest restaurant that I have ever been to. The workers there are very nice and lovely. The food is outstanding and comes in a very short amount of time. Sushi Edo isn't just sushi as it has a large variety of food from other Asian countries. The design of the place is incredible and there is nothing to complain about. I definitely suggest eating at this establishment for full satisfaction.

Probably one of the most authentic "sushi train" experiences, as the products used are generally better than those of the competitors. Because it is very well priced it is out go-to place when it comes to simple sushi, but expect to wait a bit if you want to have a seat inside. Finally, it would be nice to have freshly fried katsu or a bit more fish offering on the rotation belt.

This place always delivers the goods. I’d say it’s the best sushi in Brisbane. I always get the sashimi as it is always so fresh and tasty. In peak times you may need to wait 10-15mins for a seat but it’s well worth it. I would highly recommend this place.

So the traditional Thursday night at our favourite sushi haunt had come around again. As usual the staff at Sushi Edo were rushed off their feet but still fulfilling their service with friendly happy smiles. I had my normal fare of chicken and avocado small rolls as well as a cheetos roll. Still a little peckish I decided on a dessert which I do not normally do. I am very glad that I did on this occasion. The chocolate cheesecake hit the spot. Light and fluffy it had a mousse like quality. It slid down easily and the portion size is spot on. Thanks Sushi Edo for another excellent visit.

Quite honestly my favourite sushi venue in SE QLD. Very friendly staff, ordered food arrives in a timely fashion and is absolutely delicious. Only downside is coming in and having to wait as it can be pretty busy in peak hours!

Good lord this sushi train is divine. I went there with a mate whos never been to one in his life and it was amazing. The rice is never dry, the fish is fresh and aesthetic on the rice, and their menu is exquisite. I've been to countless trains before and only this one has served me raw salmon sushi with REAL grated wasabi bits on top. So many delicious things to choose from, all tasting fantastic. Can't wait to go back and neither can he.

Love this place! Food is so tasty, you have the option of pulling things off the train or just picking whatever you want off the touch screen and it comes straight to you! Embodies what sushi should be. Food is delicious. Staff are courteous and efficient. The automated system for seating costumers is efficient and the place is big enough to always have patrons coming and going so don't be afraid to hit the schedule table button and wait. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Once I'm in it's usually edamame, tofu meal thing, a little bit of chicken and a green tea. Touch the tablet to order and then when you are ready to leave and food and staff turn up like magic. I probably drive past 6 different sushi shops on my way there, it says it all.

Wouldn't go anywhere else for Sushi. This location and the barracks are my favourites and I frequent both. Great value for money and you don't have to waste time checking price as they are all the same. My fave is the chicken cream cheese roll because, well, cream cheese yum! You have the option to pick from the train or made to order. Great system! You will notice long lines to wait but they move fast so don't let it turn you away. There is certainly a reason so many people are keen for a seat and happy for the wait.

I’ve eaten here at least once a month for several years now, from back before they moved to their bigger location. The new restaurant is great, the waiting times are much shorter as there’s way more seating, although you can typically still expect to wait for 10 or so minutes if you come at a busy time. The iPads are super helpful, especially as I don’t eat meat and it’s hard to tell what’s inside from looking at some of the plates. There’s a brief description and an image of each dish, and you can order straight from the iPad if you don’t see something you like on the train itself. I particularly like their prawn and avocado roll, which is always delicious, though I’ve enjoyed pretty much every dish I’ve tried. My partner, who does eat meat, loves most of their other offerings, with the exception of the Cheeto roll - though I’m not really sure what he was expecting with that one, and I don’t fault sushi edo. Service is fast when you order drinks, refills, or other special menu items, and as part of their membership program you can earn points for each meal and redeem them later for discounts. This is sometimes tricky on the iPad, which doesn’t always recognize the correct discount for the number of points, but the staff are great and have been able to help when that has failed. Overall, there’s many reasons I keep coming back to sushi edo, and the only downside is that it’s ruined me for other locations - very few sushi places nearby can rival the quality of the food here.

Plastic Plastic and more plastic...Well they do a good Sushi for sure. But they don't seem understand that having so much plastic is just not cool. From ginger to wasabi to take away bags. Is there any recycling done in this business?? I doubt it, it's all plastic plastic. It can be a very long wait to get in....so you have to have some spare time. More Vegi options would also be nice. I'll be back.

Eat here every now and then, it’s a touch expensive for what it is, but it’s got a nice atmosphere and it’s an easy dining experience with acceptable quality. Disappointing that there’s no way to tell what the food is made of, like “is that fried crab legs? Or chicken strips?” Also disappointed there’s no way to order food from the kitchen with exclusions. Like I would love some Udon, but I don’t eat that weird crabmeat flower. There’s also zero description on their menu about what’s in the dish, so beware if you have any intolerances or allergies.

Rightio , i'm pretty sure I have a soft spot for Asian cuisine now or these guys are just amazing at making sushi. Can't stress how much i love the little spicy chicken rolls and Dragon rolls. Always keen to try out something new when i go there because it's always so well made and the standards are so high , doesn't take to long either. I stacked up 7 plates today but my record is about 11 and you can be darn sure i'll try to beat it ;)

I have been going to the Newmarket Sushi Edo for years now. This sushi restaurant is what I compare all other Sushi restaurants to. There are few that come close. They have a continued very high standard of product. If you order an item from the IPad quite often it is made fresh. Wait times for dishes are minimal. The value for money they offer is near impossible to beat. That is why there is almost always a queue waiting for a seat. Sure you can go to Dockside and spend $400 on sushi at Sono. But I can't afford that once a week. Can you?

There are better Sushi Edo’s in the heart of Brisbane, but this place is pretty good. I haven’t been in a while, but my wife and I used to go a fair bit. She would always get the sashimi plate with raw scallops and I would always shake my head at the gall. Raw fish! Barbaric. Except - nope. It is divine. I recommend it to all, and I have a real fondness in particular for raw tuna. I am a simple man at heart, and Sushi Edo is there for me. I will say that their cooked food is pretty awful, and “chicken karaage” is like bogan Japanese food so please avoid at all costs

Shop Location: Nundah We went to the Nundah location. Service was lively. Choices are immense. All sushi,unless marked was at $3.50, which is a real awesome. Fresh ingredients, great taste. Friendly staff and a funky electronic/ipad ordering system. We took some from the conveyor, and ordered some a la carte too. Ordering was easy and delivery was swift, considering it had to be made to order. Will go again. This is our new Sushi favourite joint.

Theres normally quite a long line up but once inside the meals are quite pleasant we order a few meals on the train itself and a few off the ipad.The Karaage Chicken is a tad big for amateur use of chopsticks but the salt and pepper squid melts in your mouth finish off with the 'Mochi Icecream' -creamy vanilla icecream with a thin gooey shell covering it.
