Great atmosphere and enjoyed the food but the flies were everywhere. Both wife and I had our drinks spoiled by flies getting in them. The staff happily replaced the drinks.

Came into the Bavarian today and it was great. The food and drinks were amazing. Seating was good with the TVs. Although, I was a bit disappointed and appalled with the way one of the workers was dressed. I don’t know if she was a manager or a regular staff member. She wore a bra, with a blazer over the top. This is very disappointing. As a paying customer, the last thing I want to see is a young girl, just wearing a bra. The blazer barely covered it. I’m in a restaurant, not a strip club. It is very disrespectful and gives it a bad name. The other lady that was on, was dressed appropriately and was very lovely. I definitely think that someone should have a word with her, as I wouldn’t like to bring my young kids in, if I’m being served by someone who looks like they forgot to wear their shirt.

Great setting/ environment. Food was alright (not the best, certainly not the worst) and there was beer. Unfortunately, there were so many flies that wanted to share our meal with us. Perhaps invest in some of those table top spinny things that keep the flies away, or maybe a Venus fly trap?

One of the few food places I've rated lower than 4 in Rocky. Ok heres the story, Its my mum's birthday, I've reserved for 8 people but they put us in a table that only seats 6 adult people. Luckily the 2 others were just small kids. We had to get an extra seat for my brother that decided to come along. And they provided us without issue. We ordered food and it took an hour for all food to arrive. Drinks came out straight away. They got our order wrong with the drinks, they sorted it out straight away which is good. We ordered the Bavarian set for 2, the dessert almost never came out, we had to ask for it twice and waited for 30 min to an hour for it come out. The taste of the food, is OK, its not something new or something that makes you say WOW. Drinks are huge though. All in all, its not a place id highly recommend of visiting. The food is a bit pricey for the quality, and the wait is REALLY long. Its a nice to go to maybe if you're just drinking, since their servings are huge. Even though they did have a couple of faults during our visit, they still sorted them all without delay, and they were nice about it. The food & drinks were still good. Hence, a 4-star rating.

Amazing food (!!!!!), Friendly service and lovely atmosphere. If you like German food, an absolute must! Pretzel is a must! Pork belly crackling was perfect and crunchy, meat just melts in your mouth and rounding it off with mash, beer jus, red cabbage and apple...food-gasm. If I can quote the Terminator: we will be back.

Always love the vibes of the place. It's a great tribute to the efforts of the manager Georgia, who is always great to talk to. Every visit has been very relaxing. Last visit I had a byo wrap and it surpassed my expectations which were already high. My host Linda was very professional and made sure my daughter and I were happy and having a good time. Very busy, build your own salad is fantastic, other meals can be hit or miss (per a lunch visit with the girls), my husband loved the sauerkraut but felt the "trio of german sausages" had been watered down for westernized tastes and my teen son struggled through the Party and wel all enjoyed the cheese + ham board to start. The spectacle of the schnapps is fantastic! The jugs of cocktails I adore and my husband loved the genuine German beers. Only real downside was my request on reservation for a wall/window seat didn't happen and that was requested to protect a recent major shoulder surgery. However we will be back again.

We enjoyed our night at The Bavarian recently, staff looked after us and our orders were delivered to the table in an appropriate time. Table service was great and all staff good fun and friendly. The Bavarian is now our standard choice for family get togethers.

Came about a week ago with some of my girlfriends for some afternoon drinks. Service was spot on, meals and drinks were amazing and fast and it was a fab vibe overall. Two things really stood out to me though; There was a young girl with black and red hair, whom I was told by one of the other waitresses was that she is a supervisor, I think her name was madisen. I was very upset with her work ethic. Ignored us and left us waiting at the front door. As well as Rolling her eyes at other staff and constantly using her phone in public eye. Creates a bad look for the restaurant. Letisha however, was wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. Always had a warm, welcoming smile and very accomodating. Although this is only two of the staff that I got to meet on this day, it shows me two things. One wants to be there and is genuine towards the restaurants customers and the other is there for the sake of being there. I will just leave this here.

Was excited to vist the new place in Rocky. It was a pretty good experience, i didnt think the music was too loud like people say. You order on your phone and pay on your phone which is diffrent, theres not an actual person that takes your order, and im not sure you can pay in cash. Any way the food came pretty quickly. The Pretzel was really tastly, my favourite thing was the german sasuages there were really good. Unfortunity the cracking on the roast pork wasn't very cripsy, but the pork knuckle was nice and crispy. The staff were very attentice and provided great service, atmosphere and food was pretty good.

The wait staff are marvellous and really make this place what it is. So friendly and know their stuff. It's very commercialised and loud, so don't choose this place for a quiet dinner, but great for larger parties and families.

Food and drinks are great portion sizes and meal was delicious. Food, in particular our salad looked and tasted a lot fresher then it did on our first visit!!Manager looks as though she does above and beyond for both customers and staff which is great to see. Lateisha was very friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived right until we walked out of the doors hours later! Looking forward to our next visit.

Food came out quite slow and we had a couple of missing meals, however the staff were quick to fix these issues and ensured that we had everything. The food was very ‘pub style,’ for around about an average pub price. It wasn’t the most amazing food I’ve ever eaten, but it was definitely flavourful and plentiful. The restaurant was extremely packed last night, so it was understandable for wait on meals. All of the staff acted accordingly, professionally and provided the best service, despite a full house. Lateisha was very lovely and stood at our table and spoke to us for at least half an hour to make sure we were having a great night, I saw a few of the staff doing this and it shows the staffs excellent customer service. The manager Georgia was amazing and very friendly. The busy restaurant and the atmosphere combined gave my friends and I very much, Brisbane vibes. I don’t have too much to fault except that I wish the music was slightly Louder and that we weren’t so cramped and squished amongst other groups. Good food, good atmosphere and great service. 100% will be back, thank you for the good night Bavarian.

Was quickly seated at a table, we placed our order and the meals came out within 20 minutes. if anyone orders shots they come out on a platter with a Cowbell ringing. Very loud, but its fun to watch. They do 500ml and 1 litre beers, gotta love that. Ahahahhaha. very filling meal. Plenty of flavour. Taste buds was through the roof. Hahahaah excellent and fast service, will recommend and will be back to try the jack Daniels ribs for sure.

Was welcomed into the restaurant by 4 beautiful girls and received one of the most inviting , friendly welcome I’ve received in a while. Was promptly Taken to our table and we had no issues with the online ordering or the high round table we were sat at. Food was delivered to our tables quickly and hot! Staff were very friendly and polite, despite having a full house and at times looked very stressed. Was definitely a night to remember with great food and amazing service. If you’re after a good meal size for a good price, I recommend you do try this restaurant!

Drinks and meals delivered pretty quickly despite being busy. Staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't find the music too loud, despite reading some reviews, and we were able to have conversations without issue. I actually like the ordering process and I hope it stays after covid. There's no chance of forgetting someones order while lining up at the counter. All in all, a good outing with good food.

I can not express how much I loved the food and service at the bavarian. I had the half stack of ribs and OH MY GOSH!! They melted in my mouth, the sauce was just DELICIOUS 🤤 The Martini was AMAZING!! Great atmosphere and decent food. Really loved when the lights got dimmed last night, made everything look lovely. Lateisha was very helpful and cleared all of our plates on our table, took photos for us, chased up meals and even occupied our kids with conversations and drawing games (thank You lol). Dropped in for a break whilst on our way to Mackay. Easy access from the highway, free parking away from the shopping centre crowd. Venue has a clean and welcoming vibe. All staff were friendly and went out of there way to serve us. Food was great and came out in a timely manner. German beers were a treat and nice and cold. Congrats to Georgia and her team. The bavarian is such a warm inviting atmosphere, we came for happy hour (4-6 weekdays) and were not disapointed. The beers were cold the wings were spicy and the staff warm and inviting. You wont be sorry

On arrival before 1900 hours staff were very friendly . Our party was seated close to the bar so the entire time we heard beer glasses being stacked and or cleaned which was a bit annoying as it was quite loud. The atmosphere was warm and inviting except for the giant TV's being stuck on football games from 2003 which could alienate some demographics. The menu and variety was good. However, having to order and pay on your phone was bizzare as there were many staff . To have a no contact order at a restaurant that is supposed to be a bit up market is very off putting because the party had to share one phone around the entire table to place an order and pay for the order. This would alienate the older demographic and those used to fine dining. For this reason I personally would not return if it wasn't for the food as it really made that part of the restaurant feel cold and pedestrian. The food :we ordered a good variety from from the menu and all of it came out together and was cooked to perfection. The burgers were succulent, well made with ingredients that worked well together. The Parmas (including the mushroom one) were moist tender and cooked properly. The chips were well seasoned and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sausages were nicely made and well seasoned together with the potato and the sauerkraut it made a nice dish. The chocolate brownie was moist and not too sweet which was refreshing. The strudel was packed with flavour with a light filo pastry. The pistachio crumb on the vanilla ice cream was a nice touch. The sweet pretzel with a caramel sauce was a bit dry but still nice when you dipped it in the sauce. The main meals arrived in a timely manner and portion size was quite generous. The desserts took quite a long time to arrive. The drink sizes were far too large and there was only one size one could order. This could be an issue especially if you're getting alcoholic ones as one drink could possibly put a person over the limit. One thing I would definitely change is staff coming up seven times during the duration of the meal and asking if everything is alright and taking dishes away so quickly. It gave the impression that they were watching us eat as within a minute of being finished the plate was removed even when other people were still eating that particular course. Doing this gave the impression that they were rushing people through the course and wanted people to move on. Overall, if you are in your 20's and want to drink copious amounts of alcohol this place is for you but if you want a family meal in a relaxed atmosphere this place may not be for you as food is fantastic but dining experience was a bit disappointing.

I've visited a few of the other Bavarian establishments in qld and nsw and I was hoping that this location would have the same great atmosphere and food to which I was not disappointed! Great looking venue, amazing food, heavenly beer selection and extremely friendly and professional staff. I can't fault this place on anything except a beer I wanted to have was sold out but still had a huge selection to choose from that wasn't. The digital ordering was different but extremely easy to use and convenient. Drinks came out to our table within minutes of ordering and the food only took 15mins from order too even though the place was very busy. Music was at just the right volume too so I could talk. This is now my new local for sure!

An exceptional variety of foods offers choices for anybody. Truly excellent and helpful service to help the technologically illiterate (like me) figure out their (embarassingly) simple menu service where you scan the table number and order and pay at the table. After trying a wide variety of food, I can safely say that they offer the very important things any fine Australian restaurant can offer: A decent parmi A good beer And something posh to keep the missus happy Honestly, if I can suggest anything, grab the cheese platter. It's name is a lie, because while it has some cheese, it is more to compliment the smoked prosciutto, that mad liverswurst and a bizarre mustard that went well with everything it went with. And the boneless buffalo wings, oh my God, I shall sin again next time I go because they cruelly offer order sizes of wings from 10 up to 100. Also, seriously, just ask for the biggest beer they have. Worth the price.
