Full review on my vegan food travel blog: I Travel For Vegan Food The Green Edge is a dream for vegans. Everything here, including the groceries and the cafe, is vegan. You wouldn't need to check the ingredient labels anymore (but you probably would anyway). It’s walking distance from Windsor Station which is only a few stops from the city. They also have parking available. In the cafe, you will find a large selection of cafe comfort food like burgers, pancakes, mac & cheese and more. Be sure to add one of their frappe to go with the food. I especially love the snickers flavour. The food quality is generally pretty good, although some dishes can be a bit under-seasoned. Green Edge also has a wide range of products in their shop section, including some harder to find snacks that are not usually seen in supermarkets. Other than groceries, they also carry makeup, house supplies, and even shoes, recipe books and more.

This little supermarket has many specialty brands that are hard to find. The store and cafe is for anyone, you don't need to be vegan. The products are plant based and I especially love their range of teas. The cafe is very popular and has some outdoor covid safe seating.

Took my parents out for lunch today, it was spectacular. Very good food, the grocery store that's a part of them is fantastic, a great place to dine and buy pure Vegan food. Excellent customer service definitely would go back and definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try. 10/10

The dish I ordered was well thought out with pleasant flavour combinations and was fresh. Unfortunately, the morning I visited the coffee machine was broken, but their juice was brilliant and the staff were friendly. I would recommend this place even to non-vegetarians/vegans.

Absolutely loved the Green Edge. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. I had the Vegan Fried Chicken with mash, coleslaw and gravy. It's such a reasonable price and so filling and ridiculously delicious! Highly recommend!

I love the grocery section here! Everything is definitely a bit more on the pricey end but I can always find the best vegan alternative here. Love the atmosphere and customer service, they’re always super friendly and happy to help! I used to dine here a lot but I haven’t been recently because I think they’ve changed chefs a few times. The best food I’ve had was around 5 years ago when I first tried their food. But willing to give it another shot soon.

Lovely speciality grocer with a good selection of items, a great cafe attached, slightly expensive but for the quality and variety of products in a small grocer, I’ll definitely be back. Throughly impressed with the selection of candy, food, makeup and enviro goodies available. Their cafe is a great place to come in for vegan baked goods like tasty pies and croissants that are hard to find. The freezer and fridge section is chock full of locally made cheeses, pies and ready meals. I also got my Christmas roast which I’m super excited for!

Reasonably priced AMAZING vegan food. We have been visiting the Green Edge for over 2 years now and have never had a meal that has deserved anything less than 5 stars. Super lovely staff too and the owners are so friendly and take the time to come and have a quick chat with their guests. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all taken care of here. The tofu scramble and breakfast wrap would be the top picks for breakfast, but the “double bacon cheeseburger” has to be tried to be believed. On a few occasions now we have taken our non-vegan friends and family here and they have tried this burger, and were absolutely blown away that it tasted exactly like the non-vegan option. A huge range of desserts, raw treats and yummy drinks is also available. You can also stock up on your vegan groceries while waiting for your meal (or afterwards), and the range is huge with weekly specials. My only negative is that they are still selling (and using in some of their meals), Daiya cheeze. Daiya was purchased for approx AUD $402M by Otsuka in 2017 - a huge Japanese pharma company who do horrific testing on animals. Hence the downgrade from 5 stars, to 4. Please follow the path of thousands of other vegan cafes and grocery stores around the globe, and stop offering Daiya products. Green Vie products are just as good, if not better. Thank you 🙏🏻

Great place for Vega Menu had the truffle mushroom tostie was delicious ,also we shared a appetizer of salt and pepper tofu which had no seasoning and the dipping sauce was different than it was serv before and being one of there star🌟 starters my recommendation is if you have a good thing I would not change a thing, always friendly staff with a neat little grocery shop with a variety of interesting ingredients and products very clean and organised cafe.

This place is fantastic, the cafe does really good vegan food and I always pick up great vegan products in the market section. My husband and I always duck in when we are in the area. We couldn't do vegan Christmas lunch without shopping at this place! We also love doing breakfast here, one of the few places that does a full vegan breakfast with faux meats. This breakfast is a MONSTER and feeds my husband and I (he really wanted to try the bacon and egg McMuffin this time as well and it was just way too much food 😂). It's nice to have a place that does more than a smashed avo on toast with mushrooms for breakfast.

Great variety! Lovely owners always help me keep my purchases cold for my drive down to the Gold Coast. Always stop and have a great feed when we make the drive up to stock up on speciality items. Only complaint is that they don't have a gold coast store and their online store isn't up and running yet.

I do LOVE The Green Edge. My favourite is there breakfast menu (which unfortunately only is available until 11am - but personally I think they should have it available all day), and I LIVE for their croissant’s & vegemite cheese scrolls (and only $5 is which is pretty well priced for vegan baked goods!). However, I am SERIOUSLY underwhelmed by their day time and dinner menu. I literally never order anything off them because they’re super basic and super over priced. If I want a veggie burger I’ll just go to Grill’d or Charlie’s and pay $10-15, not $17-25... they basically have ‘Buddha bowls’ and other salad bowls, and basic pasta as their main menu. Super over priced and extremely anti-climactic compared to their other foods they have available (short bread, biscuits, lemon tarts and raw treats). I’d love to see an all-day breakfast menu (they are like the ONLY place in Brisbane that has vegan egg & bacon muffins that taste like actual egg & bacon muffins). And I’d like to see a way better menu for their lunch and dinner.

Best chips in Brisbane! Fantastic range of food options, not just burgers anymore! I've gotten burgers here in the past but this time a full menu took me by surprise. Pros: - great food and presentation with lots of options - really awesome chips - very friendly - a specials menu where they have some really different and unique dishes Cons: - the food really fills you up. The shop is half grocery and half sit and dine which is a bit odd. But very unique.

The store has such a fantastic range - and it's so easy to shop here knowing everything is safe for a vegan. They have really good discounts on some featured products, and I always walk out with extras I didn't expect to buy when I come in. A lot of people love this place, including my partner, but it’s not at all my cup of tea. The main menu is a bit junky and relies on a lot of highly processed fake meats for flavour. The treats in the cabinet are super sickly sweet. It reminds me of an old skool suburban cafe from the 80’s or early 90’s, only vegan, which is great if you like that sort of thing but it’s not for me. I prefer my vegan food less processed and more farm-to-table like the fare at El Planta or Grown. But if you’re a bit older and want something that reminds you of the old days, without the animal products, this is likely the place for you!

I highly recommend The Green Edge, we had an awesome meal there over the weekend, there was so many options on the menu it was hard to choose. Went to Brisbane last week for a holiday and this cafe had by far the best food I ate! They had a MASSIVE vegan menu, so many delicious options! Try the cauliflower buffalo wings, you wont regret it. The staff were absolutely beautiful, could not fault the service. I wish I could take this cafe back to Cairns! Highly recommend if you're vegan and even if you're not, it won't disappoint.

Wonderful food and lovely, kind staff! The cafe serves an incredibly diverse and always delicious menu! If you weren't told, you'd never know it's all vegan! I can't get enough of the Jackfruit burger. The grocery part is also well stocked with specialty products. This is my favourite restaurant and if you visit it, I'm sure you'll see why.

Always so happy with the food here, the only downfall would be having to pay so much extra for gluten free bread. The bread is great, maybe you could do a deal that you stock the loaves in the grocery store and customers could buy the loaf and use some slices in their breakfast or lunch and then take the bread home.

Going to this place excites me. The sheer amount of options in both the breakfast and lunch menu are so extensive it's overwhelming (in a good way). They have so many delicious dishes to try, I guarantee there is something for everyone. Everything about this restaurant feels so well thought out- the food, drinks, dessert cabinet, and grocery- customers are truly spoiled for choice here. To top it all off, the decor is beautiful and the customer service is excellent. I visited post-lockdown and the service and food was still as accommodating as before. I recommend trying out the milkshakes, they are creative and delicious.

Superb place. If you know someone who is skeptical about just how good vegan food can be, bring them here. There are loads of completely unique dishes, with familiar flavours and fresh ingredients that are as good as any meat-serving establishment. The service is superb too. The adjacent store offers one of the largest varieties of fresh, frozen and dry vegan goods that I'm aware of, anywhere in Brisbane.

I just discovered this place yesterday and sadly didn’t have time to stop for food or even read the menu (rushing home for naps!) but having seen other reviews I’m very keen to return and try some of the recommendations. My review is based on coffee and cakes and they were both both spot on! I think the latte was the best I’ve had in a while in Brisbane - so smooth and creamy, and my only regret here is not getting a large as it was over too soon! My son enjoyed an Oreo cakenut and I picked out a mint chocolate cupcake. Both were delicious! Counter service was lovely and friendly, and there was a really nice vibe about the shop/cafe. Again, so much I‘d like to buy from here when I get the chance to concentrate! There’s an incredible range from what I could see - 4-5 decent aisles of food as well as a few chilled sections, plus a lot of environmentally friendly cleaning bits and bobs. Very impressed!

Green Edge is one of my new favourite vegan cafes in Brisbane! The food is incredible every time and the employees are always so attentive. There are so many appetising options on the menu that it’s difficult to choose what to order! Another big reason why I keep returning is for the the awesome vegan grocery store within the cafe! Great vegan food from there restaurant with a variety of choices which a always changing with there new specials which change every month or so. I never really have any complaints about my food and if I do they are happy to resolve the issue. Their grocery stocks all of your favourite mock meats and cheeses, plus ice creams etc. They have some delicious baked goods and sweets by the counter which I am pretty sure a portion of them come from flour of life bakery. Overall I would highly recommend this place to any vegans out there.

The amount of stock they have extends way beyond food and into supplies such as toothpaste, face masks, dog treats and even clothes. As a bonus, they also serve food. Okay so huge excitement coming here and our party of 8 were not dissappointed. On one side of the resturant there are aisles of vegan type groceries for sale. Kinda pricey though. The resturant side has limited seating though alfresco dining is available too, I'd suggest booking prior. I should have known but I let me naivity get to me. I mean they had clues everywhere, they weren't even hidden. Yet I ordered a Cheese Steak Sub not knowing the place was a Vegan Restaurant. With the Netflix show Game Changers putting the Vegan diet fresh in people's minds and once again sparking the debate on whether it's the healthy alternative, I became very curious once I figured out that my steak wasn't steak, and that cheese sauce wasn't cheese. But to be honest I'm far too uneducated in the field of nutrition to comment on the Vegan diet. When I go to a restaurant and eat out I don't really pay too much attention to the nutritional value or whether my food has come from a sustainable source (Though perhaps I need to). I care more about how my food taste, and not what is in it (or in this case not in it). There was a bit of wait on the food but when it got to the table, it was delicious. My only gripe other than the wait was that I wish that they would name their food what it is. Because my Cheese Steak although delicious was not cheese and was not steak. Call it for what it is and be proud that you can make something delicious made out of soy or chickpeas, nuts etc.

Their extensive drinks menu features everything from the usual barista-made coffees to the myriad of chilled drinks (including a series of smoothies, fresh juices, milkshakes and more). This cafe offers reasonably priced meals for the cruelty-free delicious meal provided, with plenty of specials to keep the regulars on their toes. Staff are extremely friendly and cheerful, happy to help you with anything you need. Numerous times I have struck up a conversation with the lovely waitresses about their go-to meal and they have always provided a well-thought-out favourite with reason to back it up. After your meal you can wander amongst the few aisles packed to the ceiling with organic and vegan goods while you digest. All in all The Green Edge is a fantastic cafe that offers a loving atmosphere for family and friends to have a cruelty-free snack, meal or just a wander around their stocked goods.

A great vegan grocery store. Great selection and food. My only complaint is that the prices are quite expensive which is ubiquitous to all vegan shops. My other complaint is that the staff can be really rude. I follow the instagram page and always see dogs posted on there so assumed they liked animals? but when I came in with my tiny dog in my handbag to grab something from the grocery store, the older gentlemen who worked there scolded me and made a really rude comment to me about my dog loudly in front of everyone. I was quite surprised because I bring my dog EVERYWHERE with me, in coles, woolies, etc. Makes no sense that your typical grocery stores are okay with me and my dog but not a VEGAN one who is meant to love animals? Is the instagram posts about dogs just a ploy to get you into the store? Not sure but I don't feel welcomed here. Most of the stuff you can find around Brisbane anyways, from Sam Coco or IGA for same price or cheaper so don't intend on returning.
