The staff A+ lovely The food B, I had the pumpkin risotto it wasnt very tasty lacking flavour, I think change the goats cheese to fresh parmesan in my opinion My partner had duck breast he thought it was ok for around $34 We were sitting at a table that was so wide we couldn't hear each other unless we yelled 🤣 not suitable for oldies with hearing loss. Times are tough, staff were probably away with Covid-19 ramping up right now so I dont want to be to tough on any restaurants. Cheers and thanks for welcoming us for many hours with our friends with no pressure to leave our table

The Best single thing about The Jetty (besides the outstandingly amazing meals) is the service.. The Staff were incredible, friendly, accommodating and super easy to get on with.. I almost wanted to invite them all to the table to have a drink ( but that would have left no one to run the restaurant). 🤔 Bonus points: We left our cake with them after our allowed 2 hours, when for a crazy 40min scooter ride around Brisbane, then returned to perfectly refrigerated desert. 😁 Thankyou to all..

Dined here on a public holiday Monday and, after a busy holiday weekend, some things were missing from the menu. What remained for us was salt and pepper squid and GF/DF corn fritters, as well as some chips on the side. We finished with vegan pannacotta and pavlova, as well as a deliciously dairy Créme Brulée. Apart from the setting, which was semi-indoors opening onto the beautiful Brisbane River, the staff were helpful and the meals well-cooked. Simple food leaves a chef nowhere to hide. So while our dinner was basic, it was basically brilliant. Cooked to perfection, every mouthful was a delight. We couldnt enjoy the missing oysters, slow-cooked lamb-shanks, the pork loin or the mussels, but what remained was perfectly well done. Thanks for making the meals so enjoyable. The kids absolutely loved it.

the waitress we had at table 6 or 7 was fantastic. only had the entrees but the atmosphere was inviting. the staff offered me there own umbrella due to the rain which is above and beyond!!! absolutely recommend and greatful for the experience

This is a lovely venue by the river. The outdoor seating was very pleasant and the staff were attentive, but not overly so. All of the food was very good and our party of 8 was quite satisfied. My one quibble was that the duck was a little overdone. If it is being prepared sous vide, I suggest cooking two batches, one rarer than the other. Then guests can be asked which they prefer. I like mine quite rare and the skin crisp. Apart from that, the whole experience was most enjoyable.

A relaxed vibe, lovely staff, fresh and beautiful seafood ,cooked perfectly all topped off by a stunning view of the city lights made for a wonderful night with friends. It’s a welcoming restaurant with its lovely hanging baskets, light fittings and well spaced tables. We loved how quiet it was so that conversation was so pleasurable instead of having to shout to be heard.

Had breakfast here and it was delicious, great looking out onto the river, we actually arrived 30 minutes early and were seated with no issues and with a friendly smile. Booked birthday dinner for my wife and they placed us in a fantastic position to enjoy the river view and food. Ordered the Butcher's Steak with Potato salad, Char grilled Eye fillet and a Mediterranean side salad. The meals we had were tasty and cooked as described (medium rare). The salad complimented our steak beautifully. Just the right amount of serving portion for us. We experienced great service from the staff. They were attentive, and made us feel welcome. We thought the meals were priced well and we really enjoyed it. Only disappointment was we ordered a Pimms from the menu but they had run out, my wife ordered a cocktail but they also didn't have all the ingredients for it. However, my wife requested another cocktail which wasn't on their menu and they certainly delivered. A very enjoyable evening at The Jetty, great food and service. Coming back to try one of their picnic specials on the waterfront. Thank you to the team at The Jetty. 😊

What’s not to love, sitting and watching the ferries, the people and all that’s happening at Southbank while drinking great coffee and enjoying wonderful food ! The staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive and the view never disappoints- looking forward to heading back again soon !

I love that The Jetty can pack me a picnic snack pack with champagne including a blanket so that I can enjoy the best views in the city with my dog and boyfriend to boot. Possibly one of the best impromptu dining moments in Brisbane, everyone should give it a go at one point.

Beautiful and breezy place next to the water. We had my graduation lunch here before heading to the ceremony. It is actually quite difficult to find a place around in south bank to serve food around 2:30pm. Most places’ kitchens are closed around 2ish. We ordered a little bits and pieces for sharing. Customer service is very lovely and accommodating. We enjoyed the lamb, salad and potato chips. We thought the fritter was a bit over fried. It would be nice if the Moreton bay bugs sliders were not deep fried. Spice Mayo or yuzu Mayo may be better with it? Ginger beers were yummy.

I booked this venue for a 30th lunch with friends and family. When I arrived after dropping over some decorations, the manager Chris had already set the tables up. Thumbs up! We had more then 30 people attending so the set menu was perfect and really great value for money! The food was delicious and there was plenty to go around. We organised cocktail jugs and bottles of wine for the guests which lasted majority of the lunch. After the food and cake was finished, we moved to the bar which was also booked for us. The service by all the team is fantastic and would highly recommend this place as prime location for your next event. A special thank you to Renee the Functions Manager for dealing with all my emails and for making the day run smoothly! You did an amazing job!! Really great experience with everyone on the day, thank you again. PS all the cocktails were amazing.

The food was delicious. We had a selection of starters and the antipasto platter. The service was very friendly and it is lovely to sit so close to the openness and river. It is a bit more pricy but worthwhile for a meal out. They also have a good selection on tap.

The food, location and views absolutely rate 5 stars, the service in my experience, has been slightly inconsistent - slow, and a few times, not particularly warm & friendly. Regardless, this is an absolutely fabulous venue to sit, and enjoy an intimate meal for two, or celebrate life with a fantastic group of friends. I particularly enjoy their cocktail list, a refreshing mojito, or two, on a nice summer's afternoon is absolute heaven. The close proximity and gorgeous views of the Brisbane River and Southbank's River Quay Green, are what makes The Jetty so unique and special. The ability to open their doors wide, gives that wonderful indoor outdoor vibe, and the sensation of al fresco dining, even though you are not. I will keep trying, as I am sure their customer service will come together, everything else is top rate, as I'd like it to be a regular spot on my radar. I particularly love the "chic beach" stylish decor, the softness of the wood elements, the natural linen upholstery, the potted orchids, the soft lighting and the Balinese inspired furniture, it is the perfect beach house, over looking the Brisbane River. Just make sure you try their popular 'super comfortable' prime dining spot - the circular group table.

16th Aug 2020 Friendly service and was seated/greeted promptly this morning for brunch. Our dishes and drinks came out quickly. Every dish was presented well and looked delicious. I had ordered the rosti. The rosti was really small but I guess with the other toppings made the meal appear larger. The rosti was the size of a pikelets from Woolies and would benefit if it was crisper, larger and served hot to help balance all the soft and cold toppings (eggs, dill cream, avocado mash and smoked salmon). As you can see in the photo the rosti was literally tiny and buried under the toppings. 😂

Food options limited however what they do have is bang on the money. Nobody was disappointed. Get in early as the lunch rush does pack out. Seafood is their speciality and it shows. The Spagettini made with local blue swimmer crab and calamari was delicious. If your a strong coffee lover try the Coconut Espresso Martini!! An absolute must and possibly the best in Queensland. Winter was a little chilly as the restaurant has very little sun, but the heaters and service were superb.

Went there for lunch with friends, great weekday lunch price in Southbank, $28 and there were 5 choices to choose from. I had the tri tip steak, asked for medium but it was almost well done. Mash was tasty, a bit too much of it and sauce was a bit salty. I had the pavlova for dessert and it was well balanced and not too sweet.

While the location and views are excellent, the menu options and drinks were not. The cocktail I had was weak and excessively icy, and the food options on the menu were limited. As for the restaurant being branded as Bali-themed, that claim is a bit of a stretch. I spent two weeks in Bali and didn’t see any similarities between that island and this restaurant , other than that you could eat at both.

My partner and I visited The Jetty tonight. The staff were friendly and attentive, the calamari particularly was really nice as an entree and my main (Eye fillet steak) was cooked perfectly, accompanied by the best potato mash I’ve tasted! There wasn’t a thing left on our plates, great food and lovely location by the river. The staff cleared away the plates quickly and regularly asked if we would like any other drinks, it was a lovely night out :)

Prawns delicious with great sauce (but tip for the wait staff - don't take plate away without asking...the sauce on the prawns great to mop up with the bread!). Cocktails are delicious. The seating at the Jetty was very comfortable, we got a booth seat at the right of the restaurant, with a great view of the river and lovely breeze. Our servers came soon after we were seated and asked for drinks and took our order by memory. While they got all order correct which is impressive, twice when I ordered drinks, it took quite a while to come to me and had to remind the server. The customer service wasn't the best today compared with the lovely food. The drinks were beautiful, I ordered the watermelon weather and jetty expresso. Both were delicious. The food was even more divine, the barramundi was cooked to perfection and the presentation was stunning. For the price of the food items I feel servings should have been a bit larger but it was very filling either way. All up a very good experience but I wont be back again anytime in the near future. I hope next time the drinks may come a bit quicker and with the food rather than after.

Great experience. Had a small birthday dinner for 4 people and everything was perfect. Delicious food, great wine and relaxing atmosphere. I loved the Crème Brûlée. Great location too, overlooking the Brisbane river and city skyline. Prices were very reasonable too. Will definitely be coming back.

On a whole our experience was great but the Byron Bay Pork Belly serve size was really disappointing. 3 tiny squares lucky to weigh 100gm in total. Flavour was great and cooked very well so such a shame it was let down by a such a small portion size. Also, the Raclette entree was very nice as well but questionable whether the cheese is actually Raclette. Didn’t have a Raclette flavour at all which is the whole reason for ordering that. The mango pavlova (merengue) was delicious. However, the waitress was extremely pleasant and provided an excellent service. The restaurant is lovely and located in a great spot and the food overall was great.

I stopped for a coffee during a walk along the river. The staff were really friendly and helpful - giving me helpful advice about the trains and ferry service and using and topping up the "go" card. My phone was almost flat so they recharged my phone while I had a second coffee. I will definitely come back. It was a lovely spot for a coffee and I really appreciated the helpful staff.

I went here on a date and let me tell you I had one of the best restaurant experiences I can remember. It's got a lovely view at night and was full of people. I would have written a 4 star review before I tried the food just because I was a little disappointed at the portion size but as soon as I took a bite I forgot all about that as I began to eat the best seafood pasta I've ever had. Seriously guys, I go around to restaurants and at this point is doesn't matter whether the meal is $31 or $61, I just simply do not believe a better tasting seafood pasta exists. It was perfect. Whatever pre concerns you might have will be washed away just by how damn good the food is. Will definitely return and my date also largely enjoyed her meal.

We were fortunate to obtain a table for five early Saturday night. Wait service was good and the meals arrived in a timely manner. My 200g rib eye steak was was prepared perfectly for my taste. I had vegetables rather than the normal cheese salad which were also prepared as I like them; lightly cooked. Others at the table said they were pleased with their meal. Went to The Jetty @ Southbank while up in Brisbane visiting friends. Food was great as was the location, but the service, particularly the attitude of the Maitre D' was not good. As a party of 6, we ordered desserts & a bottle of wine, only to be told 15 mins later (before receiving the desserts & wine) by the Maitre D' that we had 15 minutes to consume said desserts & bottle of wine as we had to vacate the table for the next reservation. We promptly cancelled the order. Maybe next time, the Maitre D' & the staff should get on the same page when serving customers.

We went with a party of 10 for a family lunch and our seating was very comfortable around a large table. All tables have a view. The menu $$$ was not extensive but varied. Lovely place to have a meal, We had a large group and with a Pram. Staff accommodated us perfectly and placed us in the a fantastic area. Ordered the Chargrilled Eye Fillet, steak was cooked to perfection and the veggies OMFG. Combining all these together was like a party explosion in my mouth! My taste buds are still raving about it 12 hours later. Little on the pricey but that's okay, don't mind paying a little extra for fantastic food! Only downfall was when asking for a stout, the waitress proceed to tell me the closest they have is a dark ale. Delivered a IPA from Gold Coast brewery, wasn't a stout but still a lovely beer. Maybe some further education on the Bar selection wouldn't go a stray!!! We'll definitely be heading back!!!

We were there for a Xmas party on the weekend. Food, 5stars. Tasted great. Service, 1star. Wow, such a long time for finger food to come from the kitchen. Drinks, 4star. So they ran out of Corona 1hr in. It took 30min to get more. Atmosphere, 1star. Big group section, no music. If you organise a party here, I'd get a DJ. Overall, chef's produce great food. I'd go back, but only for a small dinner.

Oh my goodness .. our experience of The Jetty South Bank was simply wonderful. From the moment our party of eight arrived we were very well looked after. The food was amazing. Beautifully presented and so delicious. I had fish with perfectly cooked vegetables. And we so enjoyed our sweets..all choosing different ones...all gorgeous. The restaurant is in a great location and very atmospheric...all in all, the full package. We will be taking our overseas visitors here with pride! Well done and thank you. We shall return!

My husband is coeliac and I am diabetic, and discussion with the waiter about our needs and small adjustments to the meal to cater for me in particular were met with full understanding. Been here a few times before and liked it but went last night and sat at the bar while waiting for our table to arrive and the bartender said he wouldn't be long and it would of been about 10 mins before he could serve us so fairly slow service. Also waited for our entree for way too long, approx 30mins or even more. We also asked our waitress if we could have a Bookers which is on the menu. The waitress said 'what's that"? Then went to ask and came back and said they didn't have any. Firstly, the waitress should know the drinks or if not at least say 'no problem'and go and ask another staff member not say 'what's that' to the customer. Food wasn't bad but overall poor service. 3 stars was for the location this time sorry.

We've had some less than stellar experiences at restaurants lately, but I have to say, this place got it all right. Let's start with getting there. You can drive and park in an undercover car park (paid) or if you're lucky, you might snag street parking. However, you can hop a bus, train, ferry or taxi and get there easily too. Not too many places can claim that. Ambience: just the best. Situated right on the Southbank concourse with unobstructed views of the river, you can people-watch, or just watch the goings-on on the water itself. Breathtaking views of the city, especially at night. Service: the best we've had anywhere.
