Great little restaurant on the corner. The food was piping hot and delicious. It wasn't as spicy as I expected, but the aroma of the chilli oil in the chicken cold dish was beautiful. Good portion size and friendly staff. I would definitely go again. Thank you!

Spicy! Delicious! Ordered takeaway during lockdown. Really liked the spicy soup with pork wantons. Also ordered the signature beef braised noodle soup which also had tasty Szechuan flavours. The texture of the thin noodles is also very enjoyable. Pleasant customer service.

I've been reviewing ramens around Canberra. For $15.50, this is great value as most ramens start around $23. I ordered the beef noodle soup and it comes with a large serving of beef. Soup was very nice tasting. The noodles, while handmade, weren't superwow but tasted ok. The noodles are of course much better tasting than others around this price. Highly recommend. There is a nice little outdoor space with greenery and park benches where you can sit and eat during lockdown.

Food was a refreshing taste compared to the neighbouring resteraunts. Great portion sizes and reasonably priced for Canberra. Female staff member was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Inside was a little bit cold and for some reason the front door wasn't able to be closed, letting in the cold air. Suggesting having this fixed? Otherwise a good experience.

Was looking forward to try Bashan and left happy. This is a Sichuan style casual restaurant located under a new apartment. The portion sizes are satisfying and presentation is nice. There are some non spicy options available, such as the Dan Dan Noodle which was very fragrant and tasty, and the soup dessert. The pickled rice noodle had different levels of spice options too. Overall good value, just don’t sit by the window on a sunny day.

The soupless noodles with beef brisket is very yummy, although without the soup it tasted a bit more salty than usual. The pork rib clay pot managed to stay hot the entire time eating it and was delicious. I rate highly both dishes and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Yours truly @fooderarri

Great food! The saliva chicken and noodles were good. The soy milk pudding is good as well. They do have good vegetarian options, just not on Sundays! But you can still can vege soup noodles, just less variety

Having been introduced to Bashan, this is one of my favourite places to eat! Everything is good - from it’s dried/soup-based noodles to their rice sets. My fav side is the shallot pancakes dipped in the chilli oil and vinegar. It goes well with everything you order. I’ve recommended Bashan to some of my colleagues and now they are fans too! I’ve been craving Bashan during lockdown, but the delivery fee is almost $20… so I’ve had to resist.

Easily the best take out I’ve ever had. The food is amazingly fresh, tasty, filling and of fantastic quality. I order extra so I can have leftovers the next day because it lasts very well. Everything I’ve had from there has been phenomenal. Looking forward to dining in when lockdown ends. Compliments to the chef!

The homemade noodles are amazing and the dry noodle dish with tofu and vegetables has a lot of fresh veggies, and they are cooked perfectly. We’ve only had home delivery so far, (because 2021) but it travels really well!

Vegetarian Noodle Soup Thin Noodle threads, with lots of vegetable such as carrot, cauliflower, with other veggies with spicy vegetarian soup base; very light, nutritious, delicious taste.
