Billy Banks is an experience you would pay extra for overseas and people giving negative reviews just don't understand what they are getting for free. The rude customer service and vibe is part of the Billy Banks legendary experience. He is a local icon and household food staple that'll give ya more chips than your little grubby hands can hold.

A hidden gem of southside. This amazing takeaway always delivers the highest quality for a fair price. I have never received my food and been dissapointed by it. I would happily drive from belconnen to come and get one of Billy's pizzas!

I first visited Billy’s about 2 months ago; based on a recommendation by a co-worker. Hamburger and chips were very tasty and plentiful. Definitely tastier than any supermarket or fast-food chain equivalent. I’ve tried a pizza, but it was a little salty for my taste.

Huge burgers, good value for money. However the meat patty seemed to be 90% flour or breadcrumbs or something. Had a weird wet pasty texture in the middle and didn't really taste like meat. I doubt the cook has actually tasted their own recipe. The cheese was weird and the lettuce was warm. I didn't like it. The grilled fish however was very nice.

The food is usually always good and the prices are amazing. The only thing that holds Billy Banks back is to me the bland looking store and, though I hate to say it. The customer service. It seems as though they are always annoyed or angry, which makes customers feel a bit unsettled. Though I'm sure the workers are great people it would do them a great deal of benefit to work on customer service skills. From point a to point b the customer should feel invited and welcome in the environment. Anyway, keep up the good food billy banks, you are a great local establishment.

Cheap as sin, but you get enough food for days. 9$ will get you a large chips, large enough for at least 4 people on one sitting plus leftovers. Quality can vary a bit depending on the day - as it can with any chip shop, however when it's good (and it almost always is), it's damn good.

Billy Banks Takeaway is a mainstay of the Paris End of the Banks Shopping District. Service is no frills and down-to-earth, and Billy wastes no time in preparing the food. As is becoming a popular trend, the kitchen is open so you can see the chefs preparing your food. The menu is wide-ranging, reflective of the somewhat confused identity of Contemporary Australian cuisine. Burgers start at $6.50 with a pattie, lettuce, and your choice of sauce, up to The Lot at $8.80 with the additions of egg, bacon, cheese and tomato. Various pizzas, seafood and other assorted takeaway snacks also feature on the extensive menu. The drinks list is also strong, featuring all of the commensurate soft drinks in a variety of sizes. The food is served promptly, within ten minutes of being ordered. My cheeseburger has a pattie, cheese and sauce. The bun was fresh and crusty, however at times unpleasantly so; a brioche bun would have been more satisfactory. The lack of sesame seeds contributed to a lack of depth of flavour, despite the pattie containing onion and parsley. While moist, it clearly contained a filler, and was not melt-in-your-mouth or creamy fatty like the best executions of the cheeseburger available. However, the meat had a good crust which contributed to the umami flavours. The Kraft Single was perfectly molten, and my chosen tomato sauce formed a perfect anticlockwise spiral on the anterior bun. Whilst our dining experience was mixed, Billy is a young up-and-coming chef whose positive attitude and dedication to his craft will no doubt lead to sustained future successes.

Great takeaway! Most of the staff are really welcoming and friendly. One is a little tough around the egdes but he can be, he's the boss! Love the chips, burgers and pizzas with loads of real topping!!!! Best takeaway on the southside for quailty and value for money!

Decent food, terrible service. Be prepared for the rudest service you will experience. Such a shame, this place could really do so much better if it had a different owner. Would go back more often if it was under new management.

LEAVES CRUST LANYON FOR DEAD. real Italian style pizzas with plenty of toppings and great crusts at no extra charge. Get the special or supreme. Great value. Beats the cardboard of the big chains in Lanyon.
