One of my favourite coffee shops in the southside of Canberra. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, which I cannot say for all cafes in Canberra. There are a wide range of beautiful Italian pastries on offer. But if you come later in the afternoon you are faced with empty cabinets, which highlights the popularity of the place. Coffee is pretty good and is serviced at the ideal temperature. The staff are friendly. All in all your visit is first class experience.

This has been in Mawson for many years now and has built up a strong and faithful patronage based on good food being available from friendly and helpful staff. You can rely on the good dishes always being available.

This place is the real deal and it's been here for ages. Authentic Italian donuts but you also need to try the croissants. Great Lavazza coffee. Cooked breakfast on a weekend is fantastic, but you want to get here early. I had both the eggs benedict and the french toast - I regret nothing. There are a few complaints in other reviews which didn't accord with my experience. Mid-range prices.

The food is phenomenal. Highly recommend the soft cannoli. The staff were wonderfully patient with me, and I'll definitely be visiting again. There is a $10 minimum on ETFPOS, but what actual individual would spend less than that on the multitudes of delights in the bakery? PHENOMENAL.

An afternoon snack at the Italian Bakery as an anniversary celebration with my boyfriend was just delightful. Open for coffee’s and cakes/pies after 3pm- their breakfast/lunch menu looks delicious! Can’t wait to go for lunch at this restaurant. Staff were friendly and the place was very clean!
