Another great find in the Canberra mid range dining options. Located slightly out of the City centre on London Circuit, Little Steamer brings a wide slice of China to this not so cosmopolitan city. The menu is great, offering a range of fried and steamed dishes. There is no strong regional theme, but all of them are great and served hot and fresh. Prawn dumplings were especially good. The staff were friendly and attentive and the place was spotless.

Had dinner here on a quiet evening with few customers. The staff were friendly and appeared to care a lot about this new business which was appreciated. In terms of the food, I felt that the portions were a little too small for the price, though the quality was not bad. The Peking duck pancakes seem to be the highlight dish which I might come back for. Otherwise the menu seemed a little confusing, taking random cuisines from around China.

I went with some friends here, they have only been opened for 6 weeks. The food was delicious. The interior & ambience were nice, I like the lighting, so bright and modern. It has modern feel compared with other Chinese restaurants around town. The service was really good. The owner was very friendly and smiley too. I just don't get this in other "typical" Chinese restaurants. They do BYO and charge $5/person. Highly recommend this place and we'll go back again soon.

Refined Chinese cuisine, comfortable clean atmosphere, friendly staff, beautiful murals, convenient location. This place is going to be popular I can tell! Food was delicious, I want to try everything on the menu! Especially recommend the duck with soup. I loved the broth.

The staffs are very family friendly. I used to have the dinner with my two boys. The food is steamed so very healthy. As usual, we order the noodle. We also try the duck, prawn balls, steamed pumpkin, steamed rice. It is very worthwhile to try if you have a baby and the baby can not take any fried food.

Looking for dumplings and other delectables? Little Steamer has some great options. It’s very cosy inside offering a very modern dining experience. We enjoyed the Shang Hai dumplings and the stir fried potato. One thing I will come back for is that meat ball! It was so flavoursome! This place is worth checking out!

Order half duck two ways . The roast duck was good. The fried noodles was so so. Also We have ordered some steam dishes. However, the portion was small. For me, I think there are better place with the same price range

I've walked past this place a few times, and finally took the family to try it out. Firstly, the Beijing Roast Duck is now a family favourite. We also tried the steamed pork belly, the Master Cut Baby Eggplant, Crispy Prawn in Golden Sand and Stir Fry Mince Kale with Wo Tou. We were stuffed! Not a bad dish in sight. We'll be back to try the other dishes. The only suggestion from me, use bigger Chinese lettering on the menu, so that old folks have a chance to read.

Nice setting. Very comfy and friendly. We particularly like the steamers wall decor! The food was great. As a meat person, I found the seaweed salad very satisfying. The fish in golden sand was to die for. Other dishes were also delectable.
