If I could give these legends 10 stars I would. Incredibly friendly service, absolutely delicious toasties. We have been numerous times and not once have we had a bad experience with anything. Super clean and Covid safe which is nice to see. Hands down the best toastie they do is the pastrami egg pickle combo, yes I know it sounds odd but I PROMISE you, it's to die for, perfectly cooked egg (just slightly abit runny which is bang on how it should be) nice sweetness from the pickles, and the pastrami is cut exactly how it is meant to be, THIN. Overall it's a great place for food and service, I'm about to go there right now actually!

Have been here a few times and always awesome. There are indoor and outdoor seating options. It can get pretty busy but they pump the food out super fast. Probably wouldn’t rate the scrambled egg/avo toastie after trying the mi goreng… it’s gotta be the best on the menu. Coffee is also great and bread is always toasted to perfection 😁👍 Will be back again~~~

My friend and I had the Butter Chicken and the Mi Goreng. They were both delicious, but oddly they tasted as I imagined. The downside of this business is that I can make these at home (feasibly) and the best I can expect is for them to be good. The ceiling is low on the overall product quality but the floor is also low. The good news is that Melted do a great job at giving you exactly what you expect to receive and it was delicious. The Anzac shake was also, oddly enough, exactly what I expected and it was actually pretty good. Coffee was good, service was reasonably quick, they were fairly busy and there is good seating for pets outside. Good local haunt for something simple and a little different

Melted Sandwich Emporium located in Pirie Street Fyswick is quite unique, everything is toasted sandwiches with a fresh menu selection such as a basic ham and cheese all the way to different fillings like egg bacon and cheese, spaghetti Bolognas, some items change daily and are made on extra thick bread and toasted on the bbq plate, also there is coffee and juice and soda or a choice of nice thick shakes. Staff are friendly and efficient. Great prices, eat in or takeout.

Worth the detour off our main route. Toasted sandwich variety was extensive and made our decisions difficult as I wanted to sample more than one. This little place was very busy, so be patient, worth the wait. My Mexican sandwich was delicious.

Prices range from roughly $7 upwards depending on filling, type of bread etc. To accompany this tasty meal they do an awesome shake or a great coffee. Highly recommended. They are open everyday except Sunday. This is definitely a regular haunt for me

Tucked away in Pirie Street, this toasted sandwich diner is a hidden gem. The folks at Melted, Toasted Sandwich Emporium, have taken the humble toastie and turned it into a delicious meal. With a broad range of fillings to select, from the traditional bacon and egg, to the avant garde Asian spice roast duck; Melted caters for all pallets. Service is prompt and friendly. This reviewer was equally delighted with the generous portion size, not too big, but certainly not small, and sold at prices that can only be described as bargains! Small space inside makes for rather crowded seating. Parking can be hit and miss depending on the activity in the semi industrial area. Definately worth checking out of you're nearby and hungry for lunch.

I am delighted with this venue. I was a bit like 'how good can a toastie be', but it was bloody great. They have deeks gluten free bread. I had the roast chicken caesar dressing one and spouse had the rueben on sourdough and they were both delicious and very satisfying.

Best Rueben sandwich I’ve had in Australia! Most places get the texture wrong, but these guys nailed it! My son had the lasagna toastie and his exact words were, “Whoah...this is amazing!” We’ll definitely come here again. Quick and friendly service and loved the 90’s alternative soundtrack. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, guaranteed to make your day better. This place is always worth the drive down from our Kingston office and I will be recommending to others. Personal recommendation is to try the Mi Goreng (if you're into that)

Bought sandwiches from here a few times. Prices very reasonable for Canberra you'll likely spend ~$7-$14 per toastie. Great menu. Always delicious, always a reasonable amount of filling. I particularly like that they're not trying to do anything fancy. No fancy filament globes hanging from the ceiling. No exotic craft beers. Just great toasties with quick service.

What a great spot! The vibe of the joint is awesome, the service is quick enough and the food is so well priced. I had a Reuben (best in Canberra) fries and a coke, $15.50 which is great value for such a filling meal. There was a young lady working who stomped around in her Doc Martens that clearly really didn’t enjoy her work, but that made the place kinda more enjoyable for me. If you Iike a Toastie, you will love this place.

I ordered a sandwich from this shop and I have to be honest I wasn't ready for it. I'm pretty well versed in food and have eaten my fair share of sandwiches, burgers and nuggies and the occasional bit of fancy fine food. Upon receiving my sandwich I could tell it was special. It was as if there was light shinning out of the centre, as I peeled back the wrapping paper I needed to drop my sunnies to prevent myself from going blind. After eating this bad boy a lot of people commented how good I looked. I had also had a haircut that day so I guess it could have been that, but I like to think it was that awesome sandwich radiating out of me. I'll probably go back soon.
