Relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff, excellent menu with the addition of enticing specials. The lunch time seating was quite full but the space meant we weren’t crowded. Staff accommodated our 5 year old daughter. The kingfish was full of flavour however parts of the dish were cold and the fish itself was only just warm. The Balmain Bugs were sensational as was the chocolate dessert. Lovely and tasty dips platter and the potatoes were very crunchy and flavoursome.

Great service and delicious food. We got the banquet menu, where every dish was great. The staff were super welcoming and friendly - very professional and knew their stuff. The food and wine came quickly, and were all very tasty. The only small strange thing was they used the same main plate for all the different dishes - so the fish was mixing with lamb, mixing with the chicken etc. It would have been good to change plates between dishes. Overall - highly recommended

Pomegranate delivers a truely special experience. The inside and outside of the restaurant are absolutely beautiful. The seating arrangement is comfortable and the tables are spread out enough that you can easily talk to others at your table. The quality of the food was top notch, and served suprisingly quick for a fine dining restaurant. Each dish had a complex flavour profile that changed with each mouthful depending on garnishes accompanying the main feature of the plate. The restaurant offered a view into the kitchen, which meant that you could see how much effort and love the chef's put into the food they serve, it was a fun experience. Highly recommend Pomegranate for a romantic or celebration dinner.

Chefs in Pomegranate Restaurant really know how to bring out wonderful flavour from the core ingredients, and put twist to it to make them taste special. We really enjoyed the banquet menu that took us through 9 delicious dish. We felt it was very reasonably priced. Great ambience - adequately dim lighting, tables are not too close with each other, lots of effort on decorating up the walls and they all work together to create comfortably cheery atmosphere.

An exquisite experience from entry to departure. Staff/Service: attentive, polite, and thoughtful. Our originally booked table was opposite what appeared to be someone's function. When they started getting loud the staff took it on themselves to offer us a different table away from the noise - didn't even have to ask! Food: there is not enough patience in the reader of this review to fully blog the culinary artistry and finesse of the chef last night. I'm just disappointed I didn't take more pictures to assist the write up. My friend had the Ranger's Valley Wagyu, and my other friend and I had the Banquet. Every course was delicious from the first entre to the dessert. The Wagyu main and the banquet combined, there was over 4 different types of meat - each cooked (and presented) exceptionally. The vegetarian courses were outstanding - almost enough to convert this life long carnivore. The first bite into everything that was presented last night exhibited the same word from all of us. "Wow". I look forward to my next booking!

We had an EXCELLENT meal at Pomegranate tonight. There were 6 of us and we had the banquet. All of the courses were delicious, and it was just the right amount of food. The service was great - not over the top, but still attentive. And the wines were excellent. Not a restaurant I hear talked about often but I would definitely recommend it and would definitely go back!

This place is amazing, i got a wagyu steak which was the best I've ever eaten, followed up by some nutty ice cream. Customer service was great, but two problems, crammped and loud, and also the toilets are nothing compared to the actual resturaunt. Although the food is fantastic. 4 stars. Would be five if it wasn't't so crammed. The photos don't give it much justice, but the food was great.

Dinner on Easter Saturday evening at Pomegranate was a real treat. Service was amazing and the food sublime! The desserts had to be seen to be believed. We were a group of 16 people there on a Wednesday. The banquet menu is a great opportunity to taste some of their food. The lamb and the mushroom are amazing! The service is really good. Proper delicious food. Erkin does not do short cuts. Everything is made from scratch resulting in delicately rich mouthfuls, and lots of them (you're not going to leave hungry). I've personally seen every step of preparation; taken through the kitchen, fridge, freezer. The ingredients they use are the best that can be found and always fresh. Food is truly Erkin's passion. Service: Fantastic Ambiance: Great - busy without being loud, good acoustics and partitioning of space Entree: Salmon Ceviche - very tasty, but relied heavily on all elements of the dish working together - so make sure you have it with the bread that comes with it. Mains: I had the lamb cutlets - they were succulent, not too fatty, and cooked to perfection. My partner had the steak with a side of mushrooms and spinach - also delicious and cooked as requested. Staff were able to very easily modify dishes for dairy free requirements.

Zucchini flowers were crisp with a creamy ricotta filling. For mains we ordered the steak which was one of the best we've had. It came with a creamy mash, mushrooms and an amazing sauce. My husband ordered the Kingfish which melted in his mouth. We will definitely be back. One of the best meals we've had and very reasonably priced for the quality and skill involved.

This is a good restaurant for a romantic dinner. The stuffed zucchini flowers were amazing. The mezze platter was also great, particularly the chilli (or was it red capsicum?) dip. The lamb cutlets were delicious. The 'potato salad' they came with was little cubes of spiced fried potato - yum! The chicken breast slice was good, but not amazing. The service was fantastic. Also, check out the banquet menu. From what I recall, this was available even if there were only two of you. This would be a great way to try quite a few dishes, while keeping the total cost of your meal affordable.

Easy to understand why so many awards. Pomegranate impresses you right from the cozy accommodation and warm welcome of a friendly staff. We tried the banquet and each bite was a gentle and delightful milestone on a nice trip over different cuisine influences, each one filled with taste and purpose. The presentations are not overly decorated, yet always bring a nice aesthetic sense. For those, like me, who are interested in more than few bites and need a reasonable portion to fill fully satisfied will be happy at the end of the banquet. Delighted. Rarely does a restaurant get everything right. Some are wonderful at somethings and mediocre at others. At Pomegranate everything is just so good. Pomegranate has a relaxed feeling that belies the attention to detail that the food obviously demanded. Service was unobtrusive and prompt, food was quick, very well prepared and presented simply. Even when Saturday-night full, conversing was easy. My only suggestion would be to modify the eftpos machine to allow tips.
