With most every other place closed or closing at 8:30-9pm, Trecento thankfully was will serving. Greeted by a lovely lady and given a table. The menu is focused and offers variety as well as quality. Food turnaround was quite quick for fresh dishes. Great staff and atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

Every time I come to Canberra I make a point to come here. My friend is Italian he dragged me here 3 years ago. One word about the food in Trecento its simply “orgasmic” don’t forget the Gnocchi.. it’s made by the gods

Without a doubt, I can say Trecento is the BEST Italian restaurant in Canberra. The food was absolutely delicious. It was very kind of the staff to serve the dessert in such a beautiful way as it was my Husband's Birthday. The staff went over and beyond to make our Birthday dinner special. Will definitely recommend everyone to visit this place.

Food is good but the service was terrible. We were the only table and there were two waitresses working. The table was set up for too few people, we had to ask for table water several times, we were offered starter drinks but then had to go and ask them to come over to take more orders (only then did they clear empty glasses) they missed taking an order from one person. If you want the food but MUCH better service - go to their restaurant Pronto in Queanbeyan.

I have only been here once, but it was definitely a memorable experience. I can't remember how many times I have recommended this restaurant to my friends. Me and my partner went with the Cheif's $65PP menu and I was so glad we did! My partner isn't a big seafood eater, but even she was happy with the woodfire king prawns. My favourite was probably the carbonara, but the margherita pizza was just as good! The most memorable part was how friendly the staff was. We were greeted by the manager and he had us laughing and feeling at home before he even got us to our seats. Highly recommended!

Eating pizza at Tre cento is like a little taste of Italy only for you to return to reality when you walk outside into the dated terrace of Coles Manuka. Pizza was devine. Only disappointment was the cold air-conditioning which affected only one table - ours. Great friendly service.

Enjoyed a delicious Capricciosa pizza around 8pm on a off pay Thursday. Still busy so make sure you book ahead. Service was excellent and the pizza lived up to the hype (I actually wanted to eat the crust). Saw a Tirimisu come out while we were waiting - the waitress was lucky it made it to the table. Not cheap, but quality is there.

The best Italian pizza in Canberra ... I was told this by an Italian guy from Naples who had tried all of the places in town. Frankly, I agree. We’ve been coming here since it opened and it is consistent yet also dynamic, altering their dining model to offer new wines, quick and easy take out options as well as dining in with friendly attentive service. Tonight’s menu for us was a Diavola pizza, very slightly spiced, great salami, superb pizza base, perfectly cooked. Very delicious. Definitely a place to return to.

This is hands down one of my favourite restaurants in Australia. Big call I know. The staff are very friendly and always accommodating, making sure you're happy with your seating and asking you the order in which you'd like the food to come out. The food itself is incredible. Everything I have had across many visits has been simple, delicious and very reasonably priced. Their pizzas and pasta are unbeatable in Canberra, but they also deliver a refreshing take on traditional Italian mains and appetisers. If I was setting up a restaurant, the Trecento team would be my case study.

Less than expected. Four of us went for dinner. Two had been before and recommended it but I had not. We had four dishes: Lamb Ragu which was excellent and delicious, Salmon (special) was likewise excellent, Steak (special ) and Diavola. The loin(?) steak was massive at 500 mg and the umpteen accompanying potatoes nicely cooked and crispy yet the shock was its price of $65, not expected, for an ordinary piece of meat. The Diavola pizza was not to my liking, being soft centred with fat edges and rather thin filling. I asked for and hoped for a crispy thin pizza and that served might be the traditional style so I would not order it again. Desserts, again varied, were simple and delicious. Our experience was a pleasant one but I could not rate Trecento a top restaurant on that visit. Total cost was $300 for 4 with wine, mains, coffee and sweets so prices were OK except for the huge steak on special. Perhaps a smaller eye fillet steak would do better and the waiter should warn if the price is especially high? All restaurants are having tough times so some latitude is fair.

I can't rate Trecento highly enough.... this establishment is home to the greatest meals I've had in Canberra. The incredible pizza is to die for. I am just sad they cant do my wedding, because aside from my wife, the pizza from Trecento would make it the happiest day of my life.

We recently held our daughters 21st family lunch at Trecento and we all agreed we have never experienced service like it, it was out of this world!! From our initial contact to the follow up from Jon post lunch, the staff were attentive, kind and fun. Nothing was too much trouble and we literally felt we were in their home, not their business. The food was incredible, so much of it and so reasonably priced. Trecento really leaves all other Canberra restaurants in their wake - its not that hard to provide great service and food and Trecento just prove how easy it can be! Update: Trecento reponded to the delivery mixup and offered us a free pizza at the restaurant. The pizza and pasta was tasty, but the food lacked that punch of flavour that leaves you wanting more. They were very clearly short staffed as there was one waiter doing everything - from making coffees, to serving customers, to putting orders through, to answering the phone, to taking payments and cleaning tables. I’m assuming they usually have more front of house staff on, but if not, they need to as it’s not fair in the one waiter and it doesn’t reflect well on the business.

Cozy woodfired pizza restaurant. Well worth a visit.

I was really looking forward to dining here after hearing about it opening. I've been trying to search for THE PERFECT PIZZA in Canberra. After failing to secure a booking for both Friday and Saturday night, I was LUCKY enough to get a spot for Sunday Lunch. The venue is very small, and quite cramped. Hopefully they will have more al fresco dining once the weather gets a bit nicer to seat more people. Our lunch crew decided to start with a Campari and Soda before lunch, a very traditional Italian Aperetif right? We were all a bit miffed to see our drinks presented without any garnish, like a traditional piece of orange or oranage zest. Sounds a bit picky, but for a $9 drink which is very traditionally italian, it seemed like a bit of a miss. The pizzas were pretty good. But not the best italian woodfired pizzas I've had (eg. DOC in Melbourne). Our pizzas all came out separately, so it would have been nice to have them timed a bit better to come out together. While I understand the base is meant to be very thing, it was a bit soggy and wet in the middle. The crust..... delicious. A bit crispy on the outside, and chewy in the middle. The staff were friendly enough, and checked in to see how we were going, but they just didn't seem super comfortable and relaxed. Maybe once the restaurant has been open for a while and they learn the ropes, this will improve. And lastly...... the music was a bit naff. It sounded like old school traditional italian music, but it just didn't seem to gel with the rest of the presentation of the restaurant. I'm keen to give it some more time to see how the iron out some of the quirks.

We love coming to trecento for dinner, everytime we come it gets better and better. The pizzas are hands down the best in Canberra, the handmade pasta is always perfectly cooked and full of flavour, and the house made deserts are delicious. Service is always great, and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. This is the perfect little gem in Canberra and a must if you have not tried yet, you definitely wont be disappointed.

Amazing lunch specials - do not miss the panouzzo sandwiches at lunch on Thur/Fri. Reasonably priced for the huge portion and quality. Bread (wood-fired pizza dough) is made in-house and the fillings are super fresh and high quality - My faves are the Fresca and Caprese, but they're all great. Strong, strong recommend.
