This is the BEST Thai food outside of Thailand. I lived in Bangkok for over 2 years and I can never find authentic Thai food outside of Thailand. I honestly felt I was transported to the streets of Bangkok. We had dinner yesterday and ordered Tom Yum Kung, Vegetarian Thai Green Curry, Thai Fishcake and Thai Jasmine Rice - the smell of that steamed rice was unexplainable and the prawns was cooked perfectly. YUM!!!! I was a bit skeptical when I saw only one person in this restaurant and thought maybe we should make a U-turn and go somewhere else. Thank goodness we didn’t. Price is a bit on the high side but it looks like prices in Darwin is generally on the high side. Totally recommend this place especially if you want authentic Thai food and not the adjusted kind for foreigners.

If you want some authentic Thai food while your in Darwin then definitely check out amazing thailand. We have eaten here 3 times this week and haven't been disappointed. Take away or dine in both were great and we even got 2 free radish soups which reminded us of nostalgic thai street food back home. Try out the larb or the duck noodle soup. Also they will make to order any thai dish you can think of that they don't have on the menu. Great place definitely will eat here again.

Whenever I have to travel to Darwin for health or work reasons I always promise to treat myself to the best Thai restaurant/takeaway. Their Roast Duck Noodle Soup is the best in Darwin.

Great food. I have spent over 2 years in Thailand and I know Thai food very well. This is Very Authentic. Very friendly family run place. Definitely recommend.

Food was great. Green curry bit of different. Restaurant is quite small but nice. It is located hust next cove on main street. I think food is bit expensive. We paid $40 for two meals.

We ordered the vegetable Tom Kha and the vegetable basil stir fry. Both dishes were very tasteful. The portions were big enough and the staff was friendly. We barely had to wait for our food. If you love to watch videos of The Police, Toto or Kansas: you're in for a treat! ;)

Got their spicy fried rice with pork and a serve of spring roll as a take out. Very nice indeed. Had to wait half an hour for my order as they are very busy. This is a good sign of a good take out and something I learnt years ago while working in Indonesia. Next time I will order early. I saw a work colleague eating there which is a good sign as she is Thai . Highly recommend this little gem.

I was cruising town for late lunch and this place was open that time among few. I was served very quickly and it was nice and generous portion. However the taste of Pad thai wasn't the one that i know. Too sweet and a bit pricey for what it is.

Great friendly service and quick delivery of meals. I had a tom yum soup and it was delicious. It wasn't overly spicy or sour which can often be the case. The price is pretty good value too

Strictly Asian meals but always well cooked and very fast and efficient service. A small number of seats so you may need to book in the evening, unless you get there as soon as it opens at 5.00pm for the evening service which is what I tend to do.

Just had dinner there with my sister and her two children, they all enjoyed their meal immensely albeit a bit large for one, this is not a complaint however. Been going to both Casuarina and Darwin City Amazing Thailand's for years now and the food quality has always been great. The Beef Fried Rice is always my go to followed by their Panang Beef Curry. Always fast service and friendly staff.
