wow, what can I say but 10/10 on everything. from the staff to the cold drinks right up to the food everything was spectacular! been in Darwin going on 3 years now and my family and I have struggled to find a place that does a good steak and just decent food. Cossies have surpassed that! we've tried it all here from pub grub to fine dining this has been the best food. great flavour balance, great portion, great prices! don't get me wrong places like fat mango, pee wee, char are all good but they certain didn't reach this level in terms of their food. good quality piece of steak and the chef cooked it to perfection! ribs we're melt in your mouth fall off the bone and packed with flavour. sweet potato fries well seasoned crispy on the outside soft on the inside. wings had a great umami flavour sweet sour with a little kick to it. calamari I wish had a bigger portion for the price, very delicious and not at all chewy or tough even my husband loved it even though he usually avoids it. the wasabi mayo paired really well with it too. the salad dressing on the side salad with the steak taste amazing - I'd love to know what it is...brownie for dessert is so dangerously good I could have ordered another one if I wasn't so full. we've been here twice now and both times we're very consistent with their food and service. though they were busy one of those nights, they were super quick at getting our meals out we were very pleased. family friends as our toddler was accommodated for. high chair supplied. clean and open, indoor and outdoor seating with a pool view. this place is so under rated and we wished we would have known about this earlier. we only stumbbled on this as we were in the area and were starving so we did a random google search and this was the first hit. we have been telling everyone about this place ever since. compliments to the chefs and keep doing what you're doing because it seems to be working. young male caucasian waiter did an excellent job (19/12/21).

Great spot to grab a bite to eat or a cocktail day or night. It’s at the Airport Mercure situated right above the lagoon pool surrounded by lush Tropical gardens. We ate lunch on the pool deck while we were waiting to check in. The restaurant has both in and outdoor seating and was a cool casual vibe. The meals are huge we got a couple of share plates the cob and pork belly tacos they were both tasty. Especially the pork it fell apart in your mouth very tender and was very fresh. A very relaxing afternoon will be back

A yummy lunch. Our daughter had a swim while I sipped a couple of cocktails! Salads, pizzas and burgers plus chicken nuggets. Very tropical. Holiday vibe but locals can visit. Is fabulous

If your staying out at the airport, this place had a great variety of meals to try. I went there a couple of nights and tried the rino ribs and the chicken pizza, both were good. Food came quickly and there was no fuss. Thanks for the feed! There was a cute little possum out on the deck too, he seemed super chill!

A lush tropical garden surrounding the pool area. Service was somewhat friendly, seemed a little forced. The food was disappointing. I ordered Betty's Fish and Chips. The fish was overcooked, although the serving size was generous with 2 large pieces. The chips were undercooked and I just couldn't eat them. The salad lacked dressing but the Tartare sauce was flavoursome. My meal sat on the counter for awhile, there was no urgency to serve. The Chef had to double ding the bell (again) requesting service. Considering there was only 6 other patrons, this was also disappointing.

Well, although the aircon was a bit too strong/cold for us, I will give 5 stars. The food was amazing! Well-decorated, well-balanced, full of flavour, good portion size and really tasty dishes. The pork rips with sweet potatoes were a dream! Sweet, juicy and tender. Yummy! The desert was also good. The service was good. It was a nice final dinner for us in Darwin before flying off.

The quality of the humpty doo barra has slipped. It used to be this wonderful celebration of fish on top of mango and fresh salad that I would brag about and look forward to on my next visit. Last week, lump of fish and some lettuce leaves. Massive disappointment. What happened Darwin, ignore the humidity that was the one thing I looked forward to.

Great place to relax by the pool and have food delivered to your deck chair. The food was expensive and only just above average.

Would have given 5 starts for service and atmosphere but due to the following can only give 3 starts. Nice place. Brilliant food but there is only 1 line for everyone to order so it can take a fair while to get a beer if your waiting in the line and there are people ordering food for families. Took me 35 minutes to get 4 beers.

Great ! Thanks! But observed a poolside couple with one child leave food from part eaten meal on floor around their table. Walked off and left for Staff to clean. I did not see them go otherwise I would have said something. Pretty poor behaviour on their part. Some people are pigs !!

Ate hear for dinner and breakfast, both meals were really good, coffee was great, service was friendly. Convenient attached to the hotel. Bar menu is basic but sufficient.

Food was great. Crocodile bites were a tad dry but still very enjoyable. Also had the haloumi chips. The BBQ sauce with the crocodile I found a bit much, however the Aioli that came with the Haloumi was a perfect complement for the crocodile. Overall a very enjoyable meal 😋

Great place to take the kids for a swim while you enjoy a poolside coffee, hot meal or cold beer. No lifeguards, you have to watch your kids if they aren't confident swimmers

Absolutely loved the food here, without question the steak my wife had was beautiful and my burger tasted fresh. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the only shortfall was the lineup, but that's life. Thank you for a great dining experience.

Wonderful relaxed vibe by the pool. Very family friendly and a great low key place to hang out. Food is a little hit and miss but the whole atmosphere makes it good enough for us to keep coming back.

Try the new Cossie's burger. The ribs and beef cheeks are also are good choices for those who wants to enjoy something different once a while. They got Vietnamese salad, butternut pumpkin steak and pumpkin salad, both suitable for Vegan and vegetarian.

It's great to grab a drink or a bite to eat from the bar and then use the pool for a swim. It all gets brought out pool side. Drinks are pretty expensive though, and not all that big.
