The owner warmly welcomed us in spite of being the only one running the place. He clearly explained how the set up works, pointed us to the sink to wash our hands if we preferred using our hands. We tried every dish that was there - the yellow rice, eggplant, long beans and carrots, potato masala, chicken, dhal, papadam, carrot sambol, green sambol. Every bite was absolutely flavourful. I’m dreaming of going back.
What impressed me even more is that the owner has a very kind heart. I watched him serve someone who couldn’t pay and served him with dignity and for free. That absolutely stole my heart. Satisfied stomach, satisfied tastebuds and satisfied soul.
Highly recommend this place.
