This place was a real Aussie pub, ice cold beers and good old pub favourites. Kids enjoyed the outside playground. We had to sit outside as we had kids and the dining room was closed (bar is only 18+). It was hot, the fans took the edge off the heat a bit, cold drinks did the rest. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Meals were nice and reasonably priced, missus had chicken schnitty and I had the buffalo burger. The kids had chicken nuggets and chips, no complaints from them at all. Recommended if in the area 🍻

Great customer service, friendly and efficient. Meals came out really quickly and salad and veg bar was delicious. Will be making this our go to for family dinners out for sure! Only suggestion would be to perhaps move the veggie bar so that all are along the wall in a straight line to prevent congestion but everyone was really polite and patient so it didn't really matter. Meals were lovely and a lot bigger than expected considering we ordered the rump special.

Such a great menu of classic pub fare, but with some awesome and interesting alternatives. Extremely generous serves. I had the Caesar Salad with Salt and Pepper Squid. I was not disappointed! Music on a Saturday Night from the Fame Junkies added to the great feel of the place.

A local place to stop the drive to refresh and for food on the way in/out of darwin. Big place, lots of room for kids to run around, plenty of car space, bottle shop available, friendly staff. I had the Friday roast beef ($20) sauce was sufficient, but I had double spud portions and that's a little much, don't skip your been veggies. No free Wi-Fi.

Have heard lots about this tavern and was not let down... Love the atmosphere. Big, proud and definately territorian and for the locals . Plenty of different areas to eat or drink or join the amazing trivia quizz. Free bus to laocal areas and caravan parks. Food was prettyy poor though, and I was warned of this too..Overall, a good night with fantastic staff who wer friendly and knew their job .

Had my Dad's wake at the tavern on Tuesday. Tony and his staff were awesome and truely turned a sad day into a really memorable one. Food was that amazing there was no leftovers. My family and I are grateful to all the staff for the hard effort they put in on the day, and every day. I highly recommend the tavern to anyone.

Great spot to have dinner, watch sports or listen to live music. Really enjoy having dinner here as the meals are really nice. Every night has a certain themed special. Staff are always friendly and keep the place clean. Trivia nights here are enjoyable too. They have a separate restaurant to the bar area if you'd like to keep quiet also a great spacious outdoor area best in the dry season.

Only been to the Restaurant not the pup but the food is delicious. One of the best Steaks in town. Even the kids steak is succulent though sometimes a bit too much fat on the cut but always cooked to perfection. Extensive kids menu. The schnitzel are also delicious. And a very good salad and sides bar. The vegetables in the buffet can be over cooked hence the 4 stars otherwise would have gotten 5. Nice play room for the kids and nice quite atmosphere. On busy nights the waiting times can be quite long and they put a sign up how long to expect but well worth the wait.

Good grub. Lots of seating choices. Not super views though being out in the shoods n all,but have a lot of plants about,especially in the beer garden it's pleasant and I'm sure a great venue for live music.

I truly wish I could give this place 7 out of 5 stars. I now live in Melbourne but have family here - every time I visit - I go out of my way to go and have one of their beef schnitzels with gravy. The best in Australia by far. Happy to travel 4,000km for their Schnittys ❤️👌 Awesome service, great food, wonderful atmosphere, 10/10 recommend to everyone.

Restaurant was excellent. Hot and cold buffet actually had good food on it, and was only $15 or came with any meal. They also have a kids park in the bar area, just dont go there with kids after 6pm Wednesday nights.

Just a warning...the gfo on the chicken, avo and bacon meal...the holandaise is not gf. The chips r not gf and the potato gratin and cauli mornay is not gf. Essentially the meal shud not be listed like it, is as gfo...because it isnt one.

I love this place every time I come I am never disappointed usually like to float down on a sunday the food is amazing I had the soft crab salad with a wasabi mayo. Perfect perfect perfect! Could not fault it thank you very much and I will always be back :)
